Nike Air Trainer SC 2010 “Manny Pacquiao” Available Now

manny-pacquiao-nike-air-trainer-sc-2010

A couple weeks ago we gave you a look at an Air Trainer SC 2010 designed by Filipino boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao. At the time the sneakers we’re available and we had promised you we’ve provided you with further details when they released. As it turns out the shoes are starting to arrive at retailers as we speak. They appeared on NikeStore.com the other day where they quickly sold out. If your still on the hunt fear not cause Premier has a full size run in stock and ready to ship. Don’t delay though cause anything that involves Pac Man is a hot seller these days, specially his PE sneakers.

As we originally reported the sneakers sport Manny’s signature colorway of Red, Blue and Yellow Gold which ties back to the flag of the Philippines, his native country. Red mesh is used throughout the base with White worked into the Flywire and onto the patent leather around the toe. Gold highlights the Nike Swoosh and tongue tag, while Blue contrast stitching is seen throughout the upper which looks great on the White paneling. Additional usage of Blue appears on the inner lining, on a portion of the mid-sole and within the air unit. Wrapping up the sneakers is PAC on the heel of the left sneaker and MAN on the heel of the right sneaker to honor Manny’s alias, Pacman The Destroyer, with 7 Red stars beneath the lettering representing his seven world titles in seven different weight divisions, a world record.

If Premier no longer has your size available hit up eBay cause there’s a ton of auctions where you can get a pair for retail.

Air Jordan 2010 – Black/Flint Grey–Varsity Red

As the Air Jordan 2010 continues to surface in a variety of colorways it appears that more and more people are starting to take a liking to the sneakers. Some still can’t get over the translucent window on the side of the upper, stating you feel it ruins the entire sneaker no matter what colorway they come in and no matter how they may perform as a basketball sneaker. Understandable. The shoe defiantly doesn’t work for everybody, as no single shoe really does, but I gotta be honest, I think they’re starting to grow on me and I originally hated the shoes until I was able to see them in person and try em on.

Just like any Air Jordan, you can expect the Air Jordan 2010 to eventually be released in enough colorways to fill your closet, a lot of which will use colors that can be found incorporated into a slew of Jordans. Flint Grey is one of those very colors and it just so happens to be worked into this Black/Flint Grey-Varsity Red Air Jordan 2010. The upper features a combo of perforated leather in Flint Grey and nubuck in Black, with clear panels along the toe and heel. The pictures aren’t the greatest but it appears the mid-sole uses Flint Grey as well with a translucent outsole displaying a slab of Varsity Red beneath it.

No official release details are available at this time but from what we’ve seen in Jordan Brand’s catalog the sneakers are expected to hit retailers in June. When we know more you’ll know more, until then click here to check out the photos. Via: taobao

The adidas Samba is in heavy rotation right now, releasing in various colorways honoring select World Cup participants and in a handful of other random color variations for upcoming Spring and Summer seasons. While our focus has been on the World Cup models a few Samba’s released under the radar which shouldn’t go unnoticed.

One such pair is the adidas Samba “Ripstop” which makes use of leather and ripstop nylon, a nylon fabric which has inter-woven ripstop reinforcement threads in a crosshatch pattern. For this particular version the color combo of choice was White and Blue, with White leather trim surrounding a White ripstop base. Given the fact majority of the shoe is White any secondary color you add in is sure to do the trick and highlight the shoes in a major way. Which is exactly what the Air Force Blue accents on the sole unit, Samba embroidery and lettering on the tongue tag do, providing all the pop these sneakers need to get a few looks.

The sneakers are available now at select adidas retailers such as Karmaloop where you can get up to 20% off your entire order by entering Rep Code JH17345.

Nike Trainer 1 Mid “Yu Darvish” PE

The Nike Trainer 1 has proven to be a top selection among athletes throughout the world when it comes to the sneakers they choose to train in. Since it’s debut Nike’s put together a number of Player Exclusive models, many of which have been released at a retail level. A handful of others though, such as the Tiger Woods and Roger Federer versions, never get put into production for the public and wind up fitting their name to a T and only gracing the feet of those they were made to honor or friends and family close to said athlete.

Nike’s latest Trainer 1 culprit is Yu Darvish, a 23 year old Iranian-Japanese Olympian who’s the starting pitcher for the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters, a Japanese baseball team in the Pacific League of the NPB. Yu Darvish has been labeled a phenomenon both in his native country of Japan and here in the US, standing at a frightening 6′5 and having an almost untouchable fastball in the high 90’s and a curveball and slider which has left batters walking back to the dugout in shame. A talent as such some may believe comes naturally, but don’t believe the hype, hard work builds athletes and keeps them as their peek. The greats in every sport stay on top of their game due to training, and thanks to Nike Yu Darvish can now do so in his very own Trainer 1 Mid’s.

The base of the shoes feature a combo of White, Blue and Silver but they differ in the sense where the Nike Swoosh on the right and left sneakers use different colors. The Swoosh on the right sneaker uses Yellow in the center with a Blue outline applied around it and the left sneaker sports Blue in the yellow with a Neon Green/Yellow outline. When the sneakers are put side by side the heel reads “Fans are family!” which is a reference to an interview where Darvish was quoted as saying he was “pitching for his family, fans, and teammates” after one of his games. Finishing up the shoes is the number 11, Yu’s jersey number, on the backside of the tongue and embossed along the toe. There’s also a custom box which includes Japanese characters which I would imagine says something, something which I can’t read since I don’t know Japanese.

When it comes to release details all we can tell you is that they’ve been released through the Nike Sportswear Harajuku Shop in Tokyo. No info is available on whether there will be a US release. If we get any details about that we’ll be sure to let you know. For now click here to check out the photos. Via: SC
