Nike Air Max 97X ‘Metallic Silver’ – December 2009

This is defiantly some of the best news i have heard all day today. Next month in December Nike will be reissuing the Air Max 97 in the ever popular metallic silver and varsity red color scheme. Ever since their original release back in 97 the metallic silver Air Max 97 has been a popular item among Air Max fans, fetching quite a few dollars for OG models on eBay. In 2005 the sneakers made an appearance as a retro and instantly sold out just like they did in 97. However, the version released in 2005 did not fetch as high of prices as the 97 model due to the fact the air bubbles were not as supportive as the originals. Hopefully with this release that slight mishap has been fixed and we will once again get the metallic silver Air Max 97’s as if they were straight from 1995.

Air Jordan Spiz’ike – Neutral Grey/Vivid Pink/Cool Gray

Hitting retailers in March 2010 may be the most eye catching Jordan Spiz’ike to hit the market so far, and get this, it will be released exclusively for the girls. The Spiz’ike sports a color combo on the base of the upper in neutral grey and cool grey. Brighten up the sneakers and popping right out are accents of teal on the laces, inner lining and outsole with vivid pink of the plastic lace holder and Jumpman logo across the lace cover. If they were to release these in guys sizes i would defiantly be all over them, just take off the lace cover with the pink Jumpman logo and id be ready to roll.
According to SoleCollector the Jordan Spiz’ike – Neutral Grey/Vivid Pink/Cool Grey will be releasing sometime in March 2010. As the date nears we will be sure to keep you posted on its exact release.
Adidas Top Ten Hi ‘60 Years of Soles and Stripes’

Earlier this year adidas teamed up with Big Shaun and Little Joe, also known as Hypethetic to have the customizing duo custom design an adidas Pro Model as part of a campaign known as “60 Years of Soles and Stripes”, a campaign to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of adidas.
To keep this series going adidas has released another sneaker part of the “60 Years of Soles and Stripes” campaign, this time an adidas Top Ten Hi, which really defines the whole stripes meaning. The upper and majority of the mid-sole consist of stripe patterns in grey, blue, and red on a white base. Included on the tongue is the official adidas “60 Years” logo in gold.

Nike Blazer High V Lux – Tier 0 Release

The whole “strapped” trend has defiantly reached it’s peak in todays fashion. We have come a long ways since the simple ankle straps and lace panel cover straps, and it seems like the thicker and more straps included on a sneaker the more some people tend to like them. One of the models which has been making plenty of use of straps lately is the Nike Blazer.
Seen here is a Nike Blazer High V Lux which uses a total of 5 straps, something we have seen on the Blazer in the past. However, what makes these differently is the fact they will be beyond extremely limited. We’re talking Tier 0 release limited. To see these off perfectly for a Tier 0 release Nike did the Blazers in an entirely blacked out colorway using the finest of materials available such as premium tumbled leather and aged black leather which has a “cracked” look to it. There is absolutely no secondary color included anywhere within the shoes leaving these as another nod to the “all black everything” look.
The expected release for this Tier 0 Nike Blazer High V Lux is set for December 1st. Via: Warped
Manny Pacquiao x Nike Trainer 1 x Air Max 360

Who tuned in to the Manny Pacquiao vs Miguel Cotto fight Friday night? Better yet, who copped the latest Manny Pacquiao x Nike Trainer 1 which released on Saturday, the same day Pac-Man laid out Cotto with a TKO 55seconds into the 12th round to claim the WBO Welterweight Title? With Manny’s popularity growing at a tremendous pace the fans must of been dying to get their hands on anything Manny has to do with cause the sneakers sold out pretty much within minutes after going online.
We aren’t quite sure yet what the deal is with these but as it appears Manny and Nike have taken the Trainer 1 and ditched the Free sole and Max Air unit in the heel and replaced it with a Air Max 360 unit. As you can see though the shoes sport the exact same Philippines inspired colorway and designed featured on the most recent Manny Pacquiao x Nike Air Trainer 1. This could either be just a sample which Nike was debating on releasing instead of the one with the Free Sole or it could possibly be an exclusive just for Manny himself.
Whatever the story may be make sure you keep it locked to Sneaker Obsession for further updates. Click here to get a closer look at the sneakers from top to bottom. Via: SC
STPL x Star Trek x Airwalk Terrain Collection

Tomorrow all over the nation Trekkies will unite as they all visit their local music/video retailers to pick up the most recent chapter in the Star Trek saga to be released on DVD. To coincide with the DVD release the folks over at Star Trek reached out to Jeff Staple and Airwalk to have them design a few Airwalk Terrain’s. If you recall back in May 2008 they released a Silver Enterprise Edition of the Airwalk Terrain which was sold exclusively through Reed Space.
For the latest collection Jeff Staple and Airwalk put together three colorways of the Terrain which happen to be inspired by the Star Trek uniforms. You have “Engineering” Red, “Command” Gold and “Science” Blue. Each of the tree shoes feature a few Star Trek delta shield logos as well, one of the back, another on the front and a third on the tongue. Unlike the Silver Enterprise Edition neither of the three shoes include Star Trek branding on the tongue.
The red and blue versions are available now at both Reed Space and select Payless retailers while the gold version is only available as an online exclusive through Reed Space. Click here now to check out more detailed photos of all three.
