Nike Boneyards Terminator - Release 8/23/08
Today, August 23rd 2008, the Nike Boneyards Terminators have been released at Stussy. The collaboration between Nike, Stussy and Neighborhood have attracted a lot of attention with their previous release of the Boneyards Nike Blazers and various articles of clothing. For those not in the know, 3 colorways of the Boneyards Terminators will release, the black pair shown above along with a white and blue pair. These Terminators are expected to be just as popular and attract just as many heads to the release as the Nike Blazers did, so if your not already posted up at a Stussy shop chances are you will have to resort to The Bay to get a pair. Nike Hyperdunk - Laser
The Nike Hyperdunks have caused quite a stir among many sneakerheads and have been seen being sold on The Bay for prices upward of $1,500. The newest pair of Hyperdunk sneakers to be added to the collection are the Laser Hyperdunks shown above. The sneakers include the use of an LA Lakers colorway along with a black and blue laser etched design on the toe and lace tab. No official release date has been listed so stay tuned for more info. Nike Zoom Flight 95 - Olympic
Nike is paying respect to Jason Kid who is the only basketball to play for the USA Olympic Team to win a Gold Medal. Due to his past success Nike decided to release an Olympic version of Jason Kidd’s first signature sneaker, the Nike Zoom Flight 95. The sneakers include a mostly white and blue upper with with a red outline around the Nike Swoosh on the toe. These are available now at select retailers including FinishLine.
Sneaker Obsession V2
Well im sure all the daily readers have noticed the new changes right off the bat. Sneaker Obsession has been updated with a whole new look. This is a layout i have been testing on another (test) site of mine. Maybe youve seen the style on the other site, maybe you havent, but either way it has found its home at Sneaker Obsession. Along with the new layout i have also made a few other changes.
-For one, the long list of categories have been removed and updated with a drop down list which you can find over to the right hand side. You can access a single category by selecting the category link within the post itself or you can select a category from the drop down menu.
-Image sizes within the posts have been scaled down a little bit to make load speeds easier on our readers with a slower connection speed. It has been a PIDA for users with a slower connection to load pages which may contain up to 10 or more good size images.
-On the right hand side you will also find sections for the newest Dunks that have been posted, newest Air Jordan posted and newest custom sneakers posted. Since these are by far the most popular sneakers we have highlighted the most recents posts for those categories within the sidebar. Whenever a new post is added to the genre the links will be updated automatically.
There will be more small changes coming along the way, such as graphics being updated and this and that so bare with us as we finish the complete update. Along will all of this i will also be providing you with more sneaker news as requested by many readers, instead of just the usual custom sneakers being posted. The site has been online for just over a year now and i thank all you dedicated readers for sticking with the site through thick and thin. We will always stive to better your viewing pleasure. Nike SB Dunk ‘Tigertaxi’ Customs
Deinzconie from ISS posted these custom Nike SB Dunks early this month which im defiantly feeling the design of. Deinzconie started off with a pair of the Taxi Nike SB Dunks and painted the heel panel, lace tab and frontal all blue and then laid down a tiger like pattern in a purple over that. Lastly his signature was added on the bottom of the heel panel. The simple job looks so much better then the original OG Taxis if you ask me. With some simple cleaning up here and there such as adding another coat to the stripes, these custom Nike SB Dunks are fresh as hell. Check out a couple more shots after the jump.
Site Will Be Under Maitence Tonight - 8/22
Sneaker Obsession will be under going maintenance at some point later tonight. I am going to try and hold off on taking the site offline till as late as possible, maybe by 11pm EST or so. Hopefully the updates will be quick and painless and things will be back up and running again in no time what so ever. Dont quote me on that just yet though. If things go well you will see Sneaker Obsession with a somewhat updated look which should benefit you, the readers at large. If something goes wrong and things do not go as planned then the site will be back up with no change at all while i continue to work out the bugs. For now carry on with your regular reading.
