Sneaker Obsession V2
Well im sure all the daily readers have noticed the new changes right off the bat. Sneaker Obsession has been updated with a whole new look. This is a layout i have been testing on another (test) site of mine. Maybe youve seen the style on the other site, maybe you havent, but either way it has found its home at Sneaker Obsession. Along with the new layout i have also made a few other changes.
-For one, the long list of categories have been removed and updated with a drop down list which you can find over to the right hand side. You can access a single category by selecting the category link within the post itself or you can select a category from the drop down menu.
-Image sizes within the posts have been scaled down a little bit to make load speeds easier on our readers with a slower connection speed. It has been a PIDA for users with a slower connection to load pages which may contain up to 10 or more good size images.
-On the right hand side you will also find sections for the newest Dunks that have been posted, newest Air Jordan posted and newest custom sneakers posted. Since these are by far the most popular sneakers we have highlighted the most recents posts for those categories within the sidebar. Whenever a new post is added to the genre the links will be updated automatically.
There will be more small changes coming along the way, such as graphics being updated and this and that so bare with us as we finish the complete update. Along will all of this i will also be providing you with more sneaker news as requested by many readers, instead of just the usual custom sneakers being posted. The site has been online for just over a year now and i thank all you dedicated readers for sticking with the site through thick and thin. We will always stive to better your viewing pleasure. Nike SB Dunk ‘Tigertaxi’ Customs
Deinzconie from ISS posted these custom Nike SB Dunks early this month which im defiantly feeling the design of. Deinzconie started off with a pair of the Taxi Nike SB Dunks and painted the heel panel, lace tab and frontal all blue and then laid down a tiger like pattern in a purple over that. Lastly his signature was added on the bottom of the heel panel. The simple job looks so much better then the original OG Taxis if you ask me. With some simple cleaning up here and there such as adding another coat to the stripes, these custom Nike SB Dunks are fresh as hell. Check out a couple more shots after the jump.
Site Will Be Under Maitence Tonight – 8/22
Sneaker Obsession will be under going maintenance at some point later tonight. I am going to try and hold off on taking the site offline till as late as possible, maybe by 11pm EST or so. Hopefully the updates will be quick and painless and things will be back up and running again in no time what so ever. Dont quote me on that just yet though. If things go well you will see Sneaker Obsession with a somewhat updated look which should benefit you, the readers at large. If something goes wrong and things do not go as planned then the site will be back up with no change at all while i continue to work out the bugs. For now carry on with your regular reading.
Nike Air Force One ‘Gucci-esque’ Customs
Ups-N-Comin’ presents his new custom Nike Air Force Ones which take on a ‘Gucci-esque’ theme. Many of todays top sneaker customizers such as Mache, C2, SBTG, Meth, Paperbag GOODS and more have all done a ‘Gucci-esque’ theme on a pair of customs in the past and Ups-N-Comin’ wanted to add his name to the list with his own spin on a pair of ‘Gucci-esque’ Air Force Ones. So he broke out his patcher and some material and got to work on a base pair of Air Force Ones. The design includes the use of blue denim along the frontal, lace tab and heel panel all of which have white stitching. Lastly an Ups-N-Comin’ keychain tag was added. Im liking the finished look to these with the blue denim, i wouldnt mind having a pair of these for myself. Check out another pic after the jump.
New Era: Boston Celtics ‘Shamrock’ Fitted Hat
This one goes out to all the Boston Celtics fans out there. Rock-N-Jocks has designed and released this New Era Boston Celtics fitted hat which includes an image of a shamrock on the front. The New Era hat features a solid white crown with an all green bill. The embroidered shamrock logo on the front is in green and outlined in white. The back of the fitted hat also has the embroidered shamrock in green and outlined in white. Represent the champs with this one of a kind fitted. Limited to a total of 30 pieces and exclusively available at Rock-N-Jocks.
Air Jordan 3 ‘True Red Cement’ Customs
Sneaked Out Boutique from ISS created these Air Jordan 3 ‘True Red Cement’ custom sneakers. The overall finish looks way better then the original red Air Jordan 3 shoes that were released, in my opinion atleast. The signature Air Jordan cement pattern Sneaked Out Boutique included on the front and back looks excellent matched up with the red. Makes me kind of want to break out my AJ 3s and do exactly the same thing. To bad i dont have the skills to do so. Unfourently right now we only have this single picture, but hopefully well get you some more shortly so stayed tuned to Sneaker Obsession.
