Nike Dynasty High LE – Sunbeam/Medium Blue-Black

There’s no doubt that the basketball sneakers of today’s generation are far more superior then those of the past, given the advancements in performance technology features, but that can’t stop a classic from being a classic. Which is why Nike’s been digging deep into their roots to bring back some of the heavyweights from yesteryear, such as the Dynasty High.
Last year the Nike Dynasty High made a major comeback, arriving at retailers in a medley of colorways throughout the year which gave the three-decade old sneakers a huge boost in popularity. The run is expected to continue this year as well as Nike pumps out even more colorways of this classic high top sneaker. Infact, the latest colorway is making the journey to retailers now.
Unlike the simpler and more subtle colorups we’ve recently been seeing the Dynasty High released in this pair sports a much more striking color combo. Black leather wraps around the toe and creeps up the lace panels and around the ankle as White leather with perforated detailing claims a spot on the toe-box. An orange-yellowish referred to as Sunbeam is laid down on the entire mid-foot with the color extending onto the heel panel which sits below a Medium Blue ankle panel constructed from nylon. The nylon tongue makes use of Medium Blue as well, as does the lining, strap and laces. Wrapping things up is a touch of Pink on the tongue tag and Nike embroidery along the ankle.
The sneakers are available now at select retailers overseas and should be arriving at US distributors within the coming weeks. For another look at the shoes click here.
Nike Vandal High “Safari” – Black/Grey/Red

The Nike Vandal High has seen a rise in popularity over the past couple of years with the help of some solid colorways and designs which have really appealed to the V-heads out there. We recently saw an outrageous color scheme in Turbo Green/Club Purple for the ladies, and a Heavy Metal version for the youngsters, and now Nike’s dropped a fresh new pair of Vandal’s for the guys.
The classic high top sneakers feature Black leather throughout the front and mid-section of the upper with the trimming in a contrasting Grey. A safari pattern in Black on the Grey heel and ankle panel instantly grabs your attention followed by accents of Red on the lace eyelets, around the Swoosh and on the Nike embroidery on the heel and strap. The usual White Vandal sole unit is stitched up below the clean upper with an additional touch of Red on the mid-sole stitching.
If you’re interested in grabbing a pair for yourself you can do so now through DrJays for $80.
Nike Zoom Hyperfuse – Summer 2010 Preview

The Hyper-family is amongst some of the most innovative basketball sneakers we’ve ever seen, featuring the most advanced performance technology in an extremely lightweight and supportive package. This coming Summer the fam is expecting a new born too, which will turn this family into an extended welcome as they welcome the Zoom Hyperfuse, or Hyperfuse for short.
Like the black sheep of the family the Hyperfuse refuses to follow in the path of it’s older predecessor’s and decides it’s want to set some standards itself which the family may or may not welcome. Whereas the Hyperdunk, Hypermax, Hyperize and Hyperlite all used a Flywire upper the Hyperfuse decides to ditch the Flywire and instead uses what appears to be Nike’s new lightweight Torch material over a base featuring ample amounts of cutouts. With the Torch material and all the cutouts on the actual sneaker the Hyperfuse is sure to be one of, if not the lightest member of the Hyper-family and with the standard Zoom Technology cushioning is at it’s best.
We haven’t an official release date at this time but thanks to some images which surfaced on NT we have a preview of three upcoming colorways of the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse which are expected to hit retailers in the coming months. Click here to check out the other two.
Nike Air Max T-Zone – White/Wolf Grey-Electric Green

As you should of come to notice by now Electric Green is Nike’s color of month. We’ve spotted the vibrant shade of Green included on a few of this month’s releases, such as a WMNS Air Force 1 Low and a men’s Nike Dunk High, and now we’ve spotted the color incorporated into yet another March release.
This time the Electric Green hue has been worked into a pair of Air Max T-Zone’s. White and two shades of Grey, one of which is Wolf Grey, makes up the leather base while some sort of textile fabric, also in grey, is used on the side-panel of the upper. Electric Green accents appear within the air bubble, on the upper lace eyelets and on the panel resting under the heel overlay which uses three cutouts to display the color beneath it.
Retail price will set you back $100 at Finish Line where they’re available now in sizes 8-13. For additional photos of the sneakers click here.
Nike KD II – Black/Red

While Kevin Durant does this thing on the hardwood floor, maintaining an average of 30 points per game, his second signature sneakers, the Nike KD II, do their thing on the retail floor maintaining healthy numbers in terms of sales. We’ve seen a number of colorways surface this year, the most talked about being the KD II “All-Star” which Kevin Durant rocked during this first All-Star Game appearance, and each one has been welcomed with open arms amongst Durrant fans.
With that being said it’s time to take a look at the latest offering of the KD II which is currently making it’s way to distributors. For this edition Nike constructed the upper using Black patent leather with Black textured leather on the midfoot strap and along the base. Mesh is included on the tongue as it has been on every KD II thus far, and ample amounts of Red accent the shoes in a major way.
You’re local Nike retailers should be getting these in soon, if not already, but if you can’t find em in your area you can grab a pair through Finish Line for $85. If you use coupon code SUMMER1060 you can get $10 off that price too.
