Puma Basket II ‘Soda Pack’

Puma has recently updated their ‘Soda Pack’ which already included a few Puma First Round releases in August. The their most recent addition into this collection Puma choose the Basket II as the model of choice. The colorways of the sneakers are of course inspired by various sodas. The orange/black/white pair represents Fanta, the brown/orange/white A&W Root Beer, red/white is of course for Coca-Cole and the silver/red/white represents Diet Coke.

Espionage x Reebok Pump

We know a lot of you are patiently awaiting to see pictures of the rest of the Reebok Pumps designed in honor of the 20th Anniversary of the Pump. Out of the twenty shops taking part in this project we have so far taken a look at eight. Now we’re gonna follow up with number nine here, a Pump designed by the Sydney, Australia boutique Espionage.
The Espionage x Reebok Pump is dressed nicely with a combo of smooth black leather and glossy patent leather carbon fiber. To break the black up a bit accents of white were added in, along with a slight touch of red. According to reports from SneakerFreaker the white mid-sole includes a glow-in-the-dark speckle pattern in white which is invisible to the naked eye when its not in its glowing state. Wrapping up the sneakers, and making sure you know who is responsible for this design is a pair of Espionage lace locks, a small red Espionage tag on the upper, a keychain with the boutiques name and logo, and the name once again printed across the heel.
No official release date has been announced at this time for Espionage x Reebok Pump, however numerous shops involved in this project will be releasing their limited supply on November 20th, 2009, so you should be able to expect a release around then.

DC Shoes FMX Bike

Now this is pretty interesting. Extreme sports superstar Travis Pastrana, and Ken Block, co-founder of DC Shoes have come up with this interesting innovation known as the DC Shoes FMX Bike. This interesting creation takes one of Travis’ FMX bikes and replaces its rubber tires with a custom setup consisting of numerous DC Shoes. The DC Shoes FMX Bike has been put together for an episode of Travis’ hit MTV series ‘Nitro Circus’ where Travis is seen riding and literally destroying the sneakers.

Nike Zoom Lebron VI ‘Stewie Griffin’

Thanks to NLB and Grandiose we are pleased to provide you with a pile of detailed photos displaying an extremely rare pair of Nike Zoom Lebron VI shoes. The design on the Lebron VI carries a style inspired by Stewie Griffin from the hit animated television series ‘Family Guy’. The detailing and shading put into the sneakers to resemble Stewie is beyond amazing. Words cant even really do them any justice what so ever. You truly need to just enjoy the pictures for yourself on this one. My favorite element on the sneakers has to be Stewies eyes included on on the tongue behind the usually Lebron James tongue which you can see above.
I think it goes without saying that the Stewie Griffin Zoom Lebron VI is extremely limited. Limited in the sense where they will not be released to the public. Limited in the sense where only a few pairs have been produced exclusively for Lebron James with a few of the samples exchanging hands. All we can do is just enjoy the photos on this one and wish that they had been released.

Meet Wale @ Sneaker Bistro

Next Monday, November 9th, hip hop artist Wale will be at Long Islands own Sneaker Bistro to meet, greet and sign autographs for fans. What does this have to do with sneakers? Nothing at all, besides for the fact the event will be going down at one of Long Islands most well known sneaker spots. Seeing as how we are big Wale fans though, and friends of Joe from Sneaker Bistro we had to put this up and spread the word to all those in the NYC/LI area.
In order to meet and greet Wale, and get his autograph, you need to purchase his new album “Attention Deficit” at Sneaker Bistro. Your purchase of the $15 CD will grant you a wristband which will guarantee entry into the event to meet Wale, get his autograph and be automatically entered to win DJ Hero. The album is in store now so hit up Sneaker Bistro with the quickness to pick one up and get a wristband for this event while there are still some available.

When we first posted posts of the Air Jordan 6 Retro – Black/Varsity Red many of you stated on Twitter that you wish the release of the Air Jordan 6 Retro would come sooner as you can hardly wait until 2010 to get them. There is no doubt the black/varsity red colorway will be the more popular of the Air Jordan 6 Retros however how do you all feel about this black/white version? The upper features a white pebbled leather base with inserts of black nubuck. A white speckle pattern appears on the black heel tab, mid-sole and lacelocks while a translucent outsole straight from the OG Air Jordan 6 wraps up the bottom of the sneakers.
No official release date is available just yet but we do know the Air Jordan 6 Retro – Black/White will be releasing sometime in 2010. Stay tuned for further details and click here to check out a few more photos of the shoes. Via: Sneakerhotline
