Nike Vandal Low (GS) ‘Candyland’
It’s appear some of the heads over a Nike in charge of designing the kids line have taken a few of our favorite childhood games and used them for a little inspiration on a couple kids models. Yesterday we showed you the Nike Vandal Low “Checkers” featuring a design inspired by a checkerboard and now we have spotted another pair of Vandal Low’s for the kids, this one dubbed “Candyland”. The sneakers have a white leather base with a pink Nike Swoosh outlined in red, a pink patent leather heel tab and red accents on the strap, laces and outsole.. The Candyland inspiration comes into play in the form of a red/white candy stripped pattern on the pipping of the shoe.
Kids who are interested can get the Nike Vandal Low ‘Candyland’ now at Finishline for $55.
St. Alfred x Reebok Pump 20
Since there has been a few updates regarding the Reebok Pump 20 collection today we’re gonna keep on moving here and get through em all. Our next update comes from one of Chicago’s premier boutiques, Saint Alfred.
We originally caught a preview of the Saint Alfred x Reebok Pump 20 a few days ago with a few details regarding the inspiration behind the design. If we caught your attention then feast your eyes on the detailed photos of the kicks which have just been provided by the shop.
The Pumps revolve around the blue-collar working class of Chicago and feature a design similiar to what work wear looks like. The shoes sport an entirely brown upper stitched up in numerous materials with a gold quilted inner lining. If the completely brown mockup doesnt relate to work wear enough for ya check out the heavy duty lace eyelets and the laces which are both straight from a pair of boots. The two insoles spell out Saint Alfred which placed together.
The St. Alfred x Reebok Pump 20 will be releasing on November 20th, 2009 at 12 pm in a limited run of 31 pairs which each pair coming with a free Iron Works tee. Packer Shoes x Reebok Pump 20

Finally some detailed photos of the Packer Shoes x Reebok Pump 20 have emerged giving us a clear look at the sneakers front to back, top to bottom. The coolest part of the sneakers has to be inspiration behind the actual Pump design.
Dee Brown may be the name many refer to today when talking about The Pumps and an athlete who helped make the Pumps what they are today, but some of us know the story a little differently. Long before Dee Brown started with his ‘pump it up’ antics Dominique Wilkins was dominating the court in none other then a pair of Pumps. Although Dominique was one of the top contenders at the time, and a huge Reebok Pump endorser who appeared in Reebok Pump Commercials, he unfourently never got his own pair of signature Pumps.
Therefore Packer Shoes has decided to show Nique some love and take the opportunity to design their Pumps with a theme inspired by none other then The Human Flight Film. To kick things off Packer Shoes started with an Atlanta Hawks and then added in some key elements which pay homage to Dominique such as a gold embroidered star along the front of the left sneaker, his number 21 in gold embroidery along the front of the right sneakers, and the years in which he won his two Slam Dunk titles embroidered on the heel of the sneakers. Taking it one more step further is a ‘Human Highlight Film’ label on the inner side of the tongue on the left sneaker, a Packer Shoes label on the inner side of the tongue on the right sneaker and finally a silhouette of Dominique in mid-dunk on the insoles. The shoes will also comes with 5 pairs of laces allowing you to mix and match them depending on your preference. Along with the 31 pairs of Nique Pumps, Packer Shoes will also be releasing a matching t-shirt.
To celebrate the release Packer Shoes will be throwing a special release party at the store tomorrow night (November 19th, 2009) starting at 10pm. The special event will feature an appearance by Dominique Wilkins and act also as a listening party for the DJ VinRoc mixtape which was produced just for the release. If your live in the Teaneck, New Jersey area Packer Shoes will defiantly be the place you wanna be at tomorrow night.

Supra Skytop II ‘Gradient’ – Fit Pic
Sometimes it can be hard for people to really get a feel of how they’ll like a specific sneaker until they get a chance to see a pair in person, or atleast catch a shot of the sneakers actually being worn by somebody (a.k.a. a “fit pic”). With that being said, and knowing a lot of you are on the fence when it comes to the Supra Skytop 2 we wanted to present to you this photo of none other then Chad Muska rockin out in the Supra Skytop II ‘Gradient’.
I think i personally still prefer the original Skytops but i will have to wait until i can actually get my hands on a pair to try on myself before making a final call. Creative Recreation Dicoco ‘Gucci Pack’
The latest company to put their own spin on a Gucci inspired colorway is Creative Recreation with this ‘Gucci Pack’ consisting of a Dicoco hi and low top models. Each of the two sneakers sport your usual Gucci-esque colorway with black leather on the toe and heel, black mesh around the ankle and on a portion of the side panels with green and red nubuck wrapping up the rest of the upper. Both shoes also have a white midsole with red stitching and a black outsole. Is the Gucci theme getting a little carried away or can you never get enough of em?

Sneaker Freaker x New Balance 850 Video pt.2
Sneaker Freaker and New Balance turn Skippy the Kangaroo into a star again with this second viral video to promote the Sneaker Freaker x New Balance 850 releasing in December. As you should know by now the Sneaker Freaker x New Balance 850 features a construction which uses pieces of kangaroo leather. In this video Skippy comes across a young boy with the NB 850 and lets just say Skippy is a bit peeved in the use of material.
