House of Hoops Opens at Town East Mall in Mesquite, Texas
Dallas are you ready for this, cause i know you guys are defiantly long overdue for it. This coming Saturday, November 20th, 2009, House of Hoops will officially be opening up shop at the Town East Mall in Mesquite. The sneaker industry has a huge following in the Lone Star State so it’s no surprise really to see another HoH open up so shortly after the Houston House of House opened.
If you live in the area head on down to the Town East Mall for the grand opening event which kicks off at 5pm and will include a guest appearance by Shawn Marion by the Dallas Mavericks and Cat Daddy from K104.
Kasina x Reebok Pump 20
Out of the 20 boutiques part of the Reebok Pump 20 campaign there was one which many of us were not all to familiar with, and that would be Kasina which is based in Korea. Although not as popular internationally at some of the other shops we are told Kasina is the premium retailer in Korea for sneakers, clothing, accessories and much more, so it no wonder Reebok reached out to the team at Kasina to have them get down on this exclusive project to honor the 20th Anniversary of the Pumps.
The Kasina x Reebok Pump 20 features a cherry red patent leather upper, black croc material wrapping around the toe with further use of black accents on the Pump release value and on a portion of the heel. Light blue accents appear on the actual Pump unit itself, on the shoelaces, part of the outsole, on the included keychain tag and the the Reebok branding on the plastic heel piece. Sitting on top of the black croc material is the Kasina logo embroidered in red.
The Kasina x Reebok Pump 20 is set to drop on November 20th, 2009 in a limited run of 31 pairs. Click here now to check out a few more shots of the sneakers at the same angle just in different locations.
Nike Air Max ST LE ‘Black Safari’
When it comes to the Air Max series a safari pattern has been a repeating pattern for the shoes within the collection for years. No matter how many times it’s done it just seems like Air Max fans, and Nike included, just can’t get enough of the safari designs. With the “all black everything” look going hard right now it only made sense to bless us with a pair of blacked out Air Max ST LE’s using the much loved safari print. A combo of suede and mesh are used throughout the upper with the black safari print on the black leather mudguard.
Can’t say i am the biggest fan of the Air Max ST LE but if you are and your on that all black everything tip you can get these now at Finishline for $95.
Married to the MOB x Lacoste Hironia
To finish up a year involving some very successful collaborations Married to the MOB has teamed up with Lacoste to produce a new pair of kicks just for their large female fan base. Having a pick from the collection of Lacoste shoes Married to the MOB decided to go with a pair of the Hironia and make use of a very unique design.
The upper on the Married to the MOB x Lacoste Hironia sports a lavender base with black graphics throughout the upper to resemble black lace. On the inner side of the upper there is a red Married to the MOB “kiss” logo which is raised up off the sneaker. The midsole, tongue tags, and Lacoste stamp on the heel are all blacked out. To accompany the red kiss logo on the upper the outsole has been finished entirely in red which according to SneakerNews is a “design inspiration from the famous and very pricey Christian Louboutin.”

Starks x Timberland 3-Eye Handsewn Classic Shoes
Starks Laces, the company known for their collection of premium grade shoe laces has taken on a collaboration involving Timberland and the 3-Eye Handsewn Classic shoe. The shoe is constructed with genuine leather on the upper and trim with a Timberland tag and Starks Laces tag sewn onto the side of the inner lining. Timberland for Starks is seen debossed on the leather insoles and a pair of Starks Laces with metal lace tips ensure a tight fit.
No exact release has been announced just yet but Starks has reported that the shoes will be dropping sometime in early December exclusively through the Starks online shop. Click here to check out a few more preview photos and stay tuned for further details.
Alife Rivington Club x Reebok Pump 20
Over the past few weeks as we’ve been featuring Pumps part of the Reebok Pump 20 campaign a lot of you have been asking what the pair designed by Alife Rivington Club looked like. We would of loved to show you, but at the time the photos were just not available.
Fear not though as A.R.C. has just come through with some photos of their edition of the Reebok Pump. The shoes feature an entirely off-white nubuck upper with the plastic pieces, Pump unit and midsole finished in off in white. Seen along the toe of the shoe is black emboridery of the A.R.C. Sports logo with further use of black on the rest of the branding throughout the upper. Wrapping up the bottom of the shoe is an ever popular gum outsole.
The Alife Rivington Club x Reebok Pump will officially release tomorrow on November 20th, 2009 at ARC Sports in a limited availability of 31 pairs. Click here to take a look at a larger shot of the sneakers.
