The Root of all Evil, Greedy Genius, originated in 2006. The company was formed by four masterminds who came together from four different ends of the map to form a brand like no other. Coming together from US, Asia, Africa and Europe, these four very unique entrepreneurs set out to revolutionize the footwear industry in a major way. These guys were no newbs though and knew what they were doing. Each and every one of them had previously worked in the industry to develop products for companies so when it came time to hit the drawing board this was defiantly something they were familiar with.

The first Greedy Genius Collection was launched in 2006. The sneakers are usually produced in loud and vibrant colorways using plenty of premium materials such as patent leather or suede. Ever since the release of the first collection the Greedy Genius line has continued to grow and is now carried in many retail stores, such as Barneys.
