The Nike Air Force 1 turns 30 this year, marking a milestone in footwear history. To celebrate, Nike’s rolling out new colorways left and right, giving fans of the old-school basketball sneaker plenty to choose from. The newest pair, available now at Titolo, sports a predominantly black leather upper featuring tumbled leather on the toe and midsection, and hits of Action Red on the heel tab and Swoosh outline. Both colors meet again on the sole with black filling the midsole and red accenting the AIR stamp and outsole below.

Asics Fall/Winter 2012 Preview

Last week, hundreds of companies in the streetwear and action sports industries descended upon the Long Beach Convention Center to showcase their new product releases at the Agenda Tradeshow. All the major footwear companies were on hand for the event including Asics, who brought out a few goodies from its Fall/Winter 2012 Collection to show off. Here we see two colorways of the ever-popular Gel Lyte III and single colorways of the Gel Saga and GT II which were on display in the Asics booth. It’s too early to put a release date on any of them yet, so stay tuned for further details.

New Balance ML574 “Workwear” Pack

New Balance looks to the classic styling found in American workwear for inspiration on a new pack of its flagship 574 model. Known as the Workwear pack, the set includes four pairs of the popular running shoe in basic tones such as navy, brown, black and grey, the common colors associated with mens workwear. Durable suede and canvas fabrics give the collection a rough and rugged edge. A release is set for sometime during the spring season.

Strap Returns To Nike SB Dunk Mid

The strap is back!! Fans of the SB Dunk Mid who were upset to see the ankle strap removed from the model back in 2010 will be happy to hear that you’re complaints have been heard and that Nike SB is planning to reintroduce the strap later this year. Shown below is a photo of an upcoming SB Dunk Mid in a mixture of blue suede and leather that’s scheduled to release sometime during the fall season, and as you can see, the ankle strap is in tack to provide that much-needed extra ankle support for skateboarding. Stay tuned for further updates regarding other possible colorways.

The Nike Air Max LTD is a limited edition model introduced in 2002 that combines some of the best elements of older models in the Air Max franchise. Showcased below is a brand-new colorway of the retro running shoe that’s available now through FinishLine. Anthracite and Black nubuck cover the base of the upper, which contrasts sharply with Court Green patent leather on the Swoosh. Several of the major footwear companies are taking part this year in celebrating the Chinese New Year with limited releases honoring the Year of the Dragon. We’ve previously seen what Nike and New Balance put together and now here we have a look at what Converse whipped up. Working with its flagship model, Converse presents the Chuck Taylor “Year of the Dragon” Pack, featuring a high and low-top Chuck constructed of black canvas with a red dragon motif. It’s unlikely the shoes will become available in the U.S., but those of you in Japan and China can find them now at select distributors.
