Anna Kournikova hired to be K-Swiss Spokesperson
Lets face it folks, sex sells, its no lie. The question is though, can a sex icon help sell a pair of K-Swiss sneakers?
Russian hottie Anna Kournikova has been contracted by K-Swiss to promote their new Spring/Summer 2009 Collection and be the current spokesperson for the company. Anna is featured in two K-Swiss TV Commercials and has done a photoshoot for K-Swiss which is being featured in ads in various magazines. This isnt the first time K-Swiss has reached out to a tennis star either to promote their products, mainly their tennis sneakers, back in 2008 the company had Alona Bondarenko as their spokesperson, another gorgeous blonde.

Check out this video put together by The Hundreds showing off some of the Footware Spring 2009 Collection. This season The Johnson Mid returns, and The Hundreds debut the Johnson Low and the Valenzuela Low. This whole collection will go on sale at both The Hundreds LA and SF on March 12th.

Video: Sneaker Bistro x DC Life Versatile
Jonas from Sneaker Bistro gives us a look at a collaboration the shop has been working on with the DC Life division of DC Shoes. Sneaker Bistro and DC Life got down on a collaboration involving the Versatile which they laced up in premium leather using neutral colors for the color scheme. Since the designs on insoles have been getting pretty popular and everybody is looking to do something different Jonas and the crew at Sneaker Bistro had DC Life include a pair of insoles which feature a recipe for Shrimp Oregano. So not only do the sneakers look dope but they can teach you how to cook a good meal for you and your lady. I have to say, the insoles carry one of the most unique ideas in my opinion. Also included is three different pairs of laces allowing you to swap them out based on your taste.

NikeID has put together a new commercial to promote the fact that you can now customize your own Nike Hyperdunk at NikeID. The video features the Blue Devil himself and Coach Krzyzewski. Check it out above.

Dub Magazine has posted a new video on YouTube of the Nike SB P-Rod 3. The short 17 second video shows Paul Rodriguez Jr, or atleast his feet, while he skates around a little bit in the Nike SB P-Rod 3.

Video: NY Magazine at Sneaker Con
A crew from NY Magazine was in attendance at Sneaker Con to film some footage for all those who couldnt make it out to the event. While there the crew from NY Magazine talked with a bunch of sneakerheads at the show including people like DJ Clark Kent, Mayor and Stash. People talked about the most theyve spent on sneakers, how many sneakers they have in their collection and the craziest things they have done for a pair of sneakers. All Day even mentions having 5,000 pairs and a separate apartment to keep them in.
If you missed the event its a shame cause Sneaker Con defiantly put on an event to be talked about for awhile. Check out the video above.
