Video: Thomas Decoud Shows Off His Sneaker Collection

When he’s not on the field defending the end zone for the Atlanta Falcons, chances are you’ll find Thomas Decoud scouting the local sneaker spots for the latest kicks. Along with a love for the game of football, Decoud has a sneaker obsession, and like many of readers, has a house full of sneaker boxes. Atlanta Got Sole recently caught up with the Falcons pass defender, who’s apparently a Redskin’s fan judging by his choice of headwear, to discuss some of his favorite sneakers and to see just what in fact he has in his collection. As you’ll see in the video below, Decoud is clearly an Air Jordan fan as his collection is made up primarily of just that. He does, however, have a vast selection of various Nike basketball sneakers, too, as well as some SB Dunk’s and adidas Crazy 8′s. Every collection needs a little diversity. Video: adidas Originals x Jeremy Scott – Fall/Winter 2011 Preview

We’ve previewed several upcoming-releases from Jeremy Scott and adidas Originals over the past few weeks, and now here we have a video showcasing even more of what’s to come from the controversial fashion designer and the footwear giant.

Brandon Parker, an experienced freelance designer, videographer and editor who’s worked with some of the biggest names in action sports, posted this video on his Vimeo page giving us a behind-the-scenes peek at the photoshoot for Jeremy Scott’s adidas Originals by Originals Fall/Winter 2011 Lookbook. The video mainly focuses on the apparel items, however, there’s quite a few shots mixed in showing off some of the sneakers, boots and ladies shoes that’ll be available later this year.

Last week we got our first look at the Nike LeBron 8 V2 Low “Miami Nights”, which drew both positive and negative feedback for it’s absurd style. Now, here to give us a closer look at the shoes and his own personal review is SneakGeekz. The boisterous sneakerhead, who’s made a name for himself with his YouTube sneaker reviews, wasted no time at all scooping up the Nike LeBron 8 V2 Low “Miami Nights” when it became available through resellers last week. Since we got our first look at the Dark Pine Foamposite Pro last Thursday, new photos of the shoes have popped up almost everyday. In a matter of 6 days, we’ve taken a look at 4 different sets of photos. By this time you may have seen enough of them for now, but in case you haven’t here’s a video review for your viewing pleasure.

The highly rambunctious SneakGeekz is here to give us look at the Dark Pine Foamposite’s in video form. He rambles on for about 3 minutes about several things before getting into the sneakers like he does in most of his videos, so be patient and listen in to hear what he has to say.

It’s believed September is the release month, but a confirmation has yet to be made so stay tuned for further updates.

After a long hiatus, SN’EADS returns with a brand-new clip titled “What If…?”.

Created in January 2010 by Tyree Dillihay, an artist/director in the animation industry who goes by the name R E E, SN’EADS is an online comic strip and animated series about the misadventures and adventures of a group of teenage sneakerheads.

In this new clip SN’EADS asks the question, “What If…?”. We’ve been asked not to “tip the joke in our write-up”, so you’ll have to check the video out for yourself to see what this one is all about. We’re sure you’ll enjoy it.

Eric Koston Wears Ugg Slippers, Among Other Sneakers

Are you man enough to wear sheepskin-lined, Ugg slippers? Professional skateboarder Eric Koston is.

The Berrics take us inside Eric Koston’s sneaker room where the professional skateboarder himself showcases some of the sneakers in his collection. Instantly, Koston is questioned about a pair of Ugg slippers seen sitting on one of the lower racks holding the sneakers. He replies, they’re his “making coffee in the morning shoes”. From there, Koston shows off a couple Jordan’s, a few Nike’s and a Gucci chukka that’s a wannabe Clark he got in some Gucci outlet outside Florence, Italy. The camera scans over the shoe racks as he talks, giving you a look at much more than just what he chooses to pick up and talk about. The segment ends with Koston discussing his new signature Nike SB model, the Eric Koston 1.

Video: Reebok x Swizz Beatz “Kamikaze Everyday”

Reebok presents a new viral video for the Swizz Beatz-designed Kamikaze sneakers in preparation for Friday’s release of two new colorways. The clip features Swizzy walking around the streets of Portugal in the Grey/Green colorway of the Kamikaze, providing some great shots of what the shoes look like in their element. A Swizz Beatz-produced track fills your ears while your watch.

The pair you see in the video will be accompanied by a Black/White-Orange colorway at retailers when shoes are released on June 10th, 2011. Retail price for both will be $100 and availability will be extremely limited. Those of you in New York City will be able to find them at Jimmy Jazz, Dr Jays, David Z, BX Sports and Underground Station. Those of you outside NY, sorry, but we can’t help you with locations.

That’s the moral behind this weeks episode of The LeBrons, titled “Big Game”. Quickly browsing through the video without much interest to watch the entire thing, it appears Kid is put into a position where he’s chosen to take the final shot of the game, which will determine whether his team brings home the win or walks off the court in shame. Does he make it or is he feed to the lions?

Video: The LeBrons – Episode 7 “Drake”

Drizzy Drake pays LeBron back for appearing in the music video for “Forever” by making a special guest appearance in his animated web series, The LeBrons. Once again, I can’t say I had enough interest to watch it so I can’t really tell you what it’s about, but if you’re interested, here it is.

Hopefully for the sake of The LeBrons, if they want a future in showbiz, Drake’s name can help them regain some attention and attract the hundreds of thousands of viewers they lost over the weeks. Episode 1 has been viewed well over a million times while recent weeks episodes are lucky to top 150K. With heavy product placement and companies paying big dollars for the spots, The LeBrons better improve their numbers or its game over.
