Punk Your Chucks - Custom Chuck Taylors and More
Punk Your Chucks is the creation of ‘AKA MAG’ who is an urban/graffiti artist originally from New York City. AKA MAG started Punk Your Chucks due to his love for art and quality hand painted custom sneakers and clothing. Since the company was started he has since worked with many celebrities to design custom sneakers personally for them, celebrities such as Will Smith, Tommy Lee, Kelly Clarkson, Brad Gethard (BMX Rider) and many more. Custom sneakers arent just his bag though. AKA MAG also does clothing, bags for the ladies, jackets, keychains, vinyl toys and pretty much anything you need really. Chucks arent the only sneakers you can get customized either, he also does Vans and AF1’s. Vans Skate Hi - Dark Knight Customs
Any Batman fans out there? Batman is one of those shows/cartoons/comics/movies that will always be loved by many people for years to come. The new Batman movie called Dark Knight will be coming out soon and sneaker customizer TWITCH just so happens to be one of those many Batman fans out there. Being psyched about the new Batman movie coming out he decided to do up a pair of custom sneakers dedicated to the epic comic book character. The base shoe of choice was a canvas Vans Skate Hi. Instead of going with bright and flashy colors TWITCH decided to keep a black and white colorway which gives you a dark and grimy Gotham City vibe. On each side of the sneaker there is a design of Batman in some sort of pose which is pure artwork at its best. No flash and glam, just art to catch ur attention. The detail and shading in each image created by TWITCH is on point and is something to defiantly be admired. Vans x Crooks & Castles
Heres a look at an upcoming Vans x Crooks & Castles collaboration on a pair of Vans sneakers which is sure to blow the minds of all the Crooks fans out there. Maybe not in a good way. It was rumored some time ago that there would be a collabo between the 2 company on a shoe but at the time pictures werent really afloat to confirm this. Well, earlier today Crooks and Castles released official pictures of a Gucci inspired colorway. The sneakers feature a black, red and green colorway laid out on a combo of premium leather and patent leather with a croc-print pattern on the heel in green and on the black patent leather lace tab. Check out that Crooks strap too. Crooks & Castles also states that there will be alternate colorway to be released as well. Huf x Vans ‘Satin’ Sk8 High Pack
If you have a satin HUF fitted hat in your collection youll now have the chance to get a pair of Satin Sk8 Hi’s which are the collaboration between HUF and Vans. The sneakers have a full satin upper, HUF written across the tongue and the classic Vans tag on the heel. Im kind of liking the HUF writting across the tongue. Vans Perforated Pack
Legnedary footwear brand Vans has released a pack of sneakers which all include a perforated design. The Vans Perforated Pack keep its simple pretty much with the perforated design, no flashy colors or anything are used to draw your attention. The pack includes a Vans Sk8-Hi LX, Chukka LX, Half Cab LX, and Slip-On LX and they are all available in either black/blue which is shown above or white/black which is pictured after the jump. Patent Leather Vans Halloween Pack
Its almost that time of year again where the little kiddies will be slamming on your door wanting a piece of your candy stash. In a few short days Halloween will be upon up and a lot of us will be making the rounds to the various parties. Vans has decided to get in on the theme of the month with this Vans Halloween Pack. Something is a little different about these Vans though, patent leather has been added into the mix. Not use to seeing patent leather Vans all that much huh? Along with the black/white/orange patent leather colorway, you also have the phrase “Trick or Treat?” printed on the outer sole and a pumpkin head tag. This will be released in Japan, with a few other places im sure so keep your eyes open on Ebay and various shops.
