Disney Store x Vans Japan Sk8 Hi

In a rather interesting collaboration the Disney Store hooks up with Vans Japan to collaborate on the Vans Sk8 Hi. The upper of the sneakers is constructed from from black suede on the toe and lace panels with a white canvas base on the heel and mid section of the sneakers. Included on the white canvas paneling is a multi-color design displaying the iconic Mickey Mouse head. The sole unit is all white with a pink pinstripe to match the pink inner lining. Instead of dishing the sneakers out in a regular ol’ box the Disney Store and Vans Japan took it one step further by designing a matching canvas bag featuring the same all-over print of the Mickey Mouse head.

Vans Halloween 2009 Pack

Joining in with the list of Halloween themed releases comes Vans Japan with the Halloween 2009 Pack. The pack features the Sk8-Hi and Resolution both which use patent leather uppers in your traditional Halloween color scheme of black and orange. Both also use white sole units while the Sk8-Hi features a Jack Lantern tag on the upper.
A small shot of the Resolution follows after the jump.
Vans City Series ‘San Fransisco’ Pack

The latest additions to the Vans City Series are starting to make their way to retailers around the world as we speak. The latest pack pays tribute to San Fransisco with a Vans Era, Half Cab and an Old Skool. All three of the sneakers use a black and orange colorway with the Half Cab being my favorite with a combo of denim and suede on the upper with orange contrast stitching. This is defiantly a nice pack for all the SF and Cali based people.
The sneakers are available now at select Vans retailers including Premier. A closer look at each style follows after the jump.
Vans Vault – August 2009 Releases

Extra Butter has just gotten in two of the August 2009 Releases from the Vans Vault lineup. One of the latest offerings from Vans Vault is a style designed by the very talented artist/designer Taka Hayashi known as the No Quarter. Thats the one shown above. The No Quarter is a toughed-out militant Sk8-Hi look-a-like with plenty of details. Sample pictures of these which surfaced awhile ago showed the sneakers with a black sole unit but as you cans see they have been swapped for a white sole.
The other pair that Extra Butter just got in is the Chukka Del Barco LX which is shown after the jump. They come with a black nubuck upper with perforated leathers lining the interior and white accents scattered throughout. Theres also a slight hint of red.

Vans Surf – Raglan

Our friends over at Extra Butter have just gotten in the newest silhouette from the Vans Surf line, a model known as the Raglan. This new mid-cut style comes equipped with eco-friendly features that are a staple of the growingly popular Vans Surf collection. The Raglan, which is has a super lightweight design comes with a waste-free, ultra-flexible injection-molded one piece outsole and a moisture wicking anti-bacterial bamboo lining. Taking the eco-friendly features a little bit further Vans Surf used water-based glue and ink. The glue and ink used are all water-based.
Available now at Extra Butter are two colorways of the Raglan. The first, which is shown above, is known as the ‘wine tasting’ colorway due to its purple/grape upper. The interior lining of the sneakers, as well as the panel running down the heel both use a white/purple stripped pattern. The sneakers were done up by Alex Knost of the Captain Fin Co. – a D.I.Y. company that specializes in artistic hand-foiled signature fins. Their branding comes in the form on an anchor placed inside a circle. Included is a second pair of laces which match the little magenta-colored stitch below the lace eyelets.
The second pair, which is shown after the jump, is the Huntington Beach pro-surfer – “Timmy Reyes” colorway, which is comprised of a tough black oiled canvas on the upper. The interior of this pair sports a plush black denim collar lining for comfort. Black and burnt orange laces are included with this pair.

Crooks & Castles x Vans Moda Hi & Chukka

The other day we took a look at the Acapulco Gold x Vans Moda Hi and had mentioned they were part of an upcoming East vs West Pack which also included a pair of Vans designed by the Crooks & Castles team.
As it turns out Crooks & Castles also designed the new Moda Hi, as well as the Chukka Boot. Both of the shoes consist of an 100% black base with the Moda Hi featuring EPI leather and quilted leather and the Chukka Boot sporting EPI leather. The sneakers are set to release alongside the Moda Hi designed by Acapulco Gold sometime in March 2010.
