Kidrobot Adult Swim Minis
I am a big Adult Swim fan and seeing how its a very popular TV series block i am sure some of you too like the shows. We dont BS about vinyl toys all that often but this has defiently caught my attention. Coming sometime in April, Kibrobot will release 20 vinyl toys which will be part of an Adult Swim Series. Thanks to Vinyl Pulse who were the first ones to release pictures of the series we can provide you with a preview of what is to come and a run down on some of the figures which you may come across.
Dora The Explorer: Tiffany Edition
I saw this over on NikeSB and got a kick out of it, it was posted by a member that goes by the name BizSB. BizSB works for a children’s software development company and his job received a Dora The Explorer software package. In the package happened to be a miniature Dora The Explorer action figure which BizSB had an idea for. He took the action figure home and one day while he was bored he broke out the acrylics and gave Dora The Explorer a fresh fit. He did her sneakers up in the Nike Dunk Tiffany Edition colorway and gave her a matching outfit to go along with it. I thought this was a great idea and now BizSB has a custom one of a kind Dora The Explorer: Tiffany Edition.
Tag Team Dunny by Tristan Eaton
Tristan Eaton will be dropping in on Kidrobot Flagships stores located in NY and Miami for an autograph signing for his newely released 8″ Dunny. The Tag Team 8″ Dunny by Tristan is set to release Janurary 17th and is available in 2 colors; pink or black. Each Dunny comes equipped with a 3″ Fatcap mini-me assitant and a gas mask to keep those fumes at bay. The 8″ Tag Team Dunny with the Fatcap will be available for $50 and while your there have Tristan sign it for you. Arrive early as the masses will be out the droves for this one. Interview with toy designer MAD
The Pitch, a Kansas based magazine, recently did a 1 on 1 with toy designer MAD. MAD is an internationally known custom toy designer who makes some of the coolest Dunnys around. Recently MAD got together with Kidrobot to come up with the Ninja Dunny which you see in the photo above. Either way, check out The Pitch for the interview.
