If solid red sneakers are too bright for you, which it is for a lot of people, and you weren’t feeling the Red Canvas Series from Supra Footwear fear not cause they’ve turned it down a notch with a secondary canvas series.

This time it’s the Grey Canvas Series which obviously uses, you guessed it, grey canvas. The Cuban 1.5 features for the Grey Canvas Series however the Vaider and Bullet have both been dropped and replaced with a Thunder and Thunder Low. If you’re a fan of the Vaiders or Bullet’s you’re gonna have to sit this one out, or select for an alternative.

Click here to check out some shots of the Thunder’s and hit up Factory413 to get either of the three online or visit your local Supra Footwear distributor to check on availability in-store.

Back in February Supra fan’s scrambled to get their hands on the limited edition Heartbreaker Skytops, Supra Footwear’s release honoring Valentine’s Day. If you had high hopes of getting a pair but were unsuccessful there’s a few alternatives for you which may be just as good.

Following up on the red canvas Skytops Supra Footwear has just dropped a Red Canvas Series consisting of a Vaider, Cuban 1.5 and a Bullet. As the name makes clear, all three sneakers feature a solid red canvas upper accented by the form of white vulcanized sole units, with red pinstripe detailing on the Vaider and Cuban 1.5. When we originally previewed the Vaiders back in October 2009 many of you expressed interest in them so if you still interested visit your local Supra retailer now to check on availability or grab a pair online through Factory 413.

Supra Vaider “St. Paddy’s Day Clover”

The other week we caught a preview of Supra’s St. Patrick Day Vaider, which many of you expressed a great deal of interest in through the social sites. With the big day being tomorrow it’s of course time to take a look at the entire shoe which is known as the Supra Vaider “Clover”, or “St Paddy’s Day Clover” for long.

The Vaiders sport a predominantly green patent leather upper with smooth full-grain leather on the orange heel and orange trim throughout the base. Fulfilling the name of the sneakers is an orange clover embroidered across the heel. It’s hasn’t been made clear just how many pairs will be made available tomorrow when they go on sale through Factory413, but the shop has reported that the first 144 pairs will include a limited edition Supra Footwear x Starter snapback cap in a color scheme to match.

Supra Vaider “St. Patrick’s Day” Preview

With St. Patrick’s Day only a week away the rush is on for footwear companies to get their St. Patty’s Day releases to the stores and into the hands of consumers.

Nike is usually the #1 contender when it comes to themed holiday releases, releasing some of the most talked about sneakers, but lately Supra Footwear has been giving them some tough competition in the market. Last month Nike provided us with a variety of Valentine’s Day releases for men, women and kids, but nothing could compare to buzz the Supra Skytop “Heartbreaker” got, the one and only Valentine’s Day release from Supra. It took 1 release from Supra to gather more interest then all of Nike’s releases put together.

This month Supra Footwear looks to repeat their success with a St. Patrick’s Day release, on a pair of Vaiders. We aren’t given an entire look at the shoes just yet but from the preview provided you can clearly see Supra went with a Green and Orange color scheme laid out on a patent leather Vaider. For awhile now we’ve been seeing St. Patrick’s Day releases using Green and White, which is defiantly a color scheme to be associated with the holiday and the flag of Ireland, so it’s nice to see that Supra gave us a little something different here other then the norm.

No official release details are available just yet, nor do we know how limited they’ll be. When further details surface we’ll be sure to let you know, until then just enjoy the preview supplied by Factory 413.

The new models retains the signature four-strap design that the original is known for however Supra took the high road with the Strapped II and gave them a much taller cuff. They also glued up a lower-profile vulcanized sole giving the shoe a slimmer look on the bottom end. Black Full-Grain Leather, White Canvas and Acid Wash Denim versions of the Strapped II will hit select Supra Footwear distributors over the next two months.
