Starks Laces – Dots
It goes without saying that Starks Laces makes some of the nicest and highest quality shoelaces on the market. In the past we’ve featured a few of their laces such as the Tribe Called Quest Shoelaces. Since we just took a look at the Air Jordan 1 Phat Low Polka Dot Pack i figured i would post up these new laces from Starks Laces which are dubbed “Dots”. It should be obvious where the name for these comes from. They look like a pretty nice fit for the Polka Dot Air Jordan 1 Phat, if polka dots are your thing that is. Starks – Tribe Called Quest shoelaces
Starks has been known to create some of the best quality shoelaces on the market. I have a few pairs myself and i can defiantly say they are worth whatever you may pay for them. Some of their design ideas are great, such as their newest design here which is a tribute to one of the classic rap groups of the 90s, A Tribe Called Quest. Starks presents you with the Tribe Called Quest shoelaces which are designed using the same colors in the artistic and colorful “The Low End Theory” album artwork. With the splashes of neon colors these are right up the alley with the colorful Fresh Prince style Will Smith use to rock from the same era. Dont Hate Lacelock Set from ST!ZO
Artist/Designer ST!ZO has been working on a lacelock design and here were have an image of his first set. These are called the ‘Dont Hate’ Lacelocks and they are a limited run currently available for $20 a piece. There will be more designs to come in the future, as we have seen other custom lacelocks on custom sneakers done by ST!ZO but for now this is the first release to the public at a price you cant beat. Guide: How To Lace Your Sneakers
A lot of people have asked me if i knew of any resources of how to laces your sneakers different then the regular old cross over. The first thing that came to mind, or i should say person rather, is Ian. Ian wrote the book on how to lace your sneakers in many ways. The book i speak of by Ian is called Laces and it comes in a very cool setup. On the outside of the book there is an actual pair of laces for you to practice on after reading what Ian shows you. Besides for just the book itself, Ian also has a site which includes over 30+ shoelace designs to get you started on your sneakers. Silver Nike Dunk Pendant
Now the Nike Dunk sneakerhead can have a lil Dunk Bling to show their love for the ever popular sneaker. These Dunk High pendants are made from solid silver and come on a solid silver dog tag chain and are available from Hawk and Hunter.
