Solebox x Saucony Shadow 5000 “Three Brothers Pack”

Coming off a successful collaboration with adidas that involved the return of the Equipment Support, Solebox teams up with Saucony Originals on a pack of Shadow 5000′s. The pack, dubbed “Three Brothers”, contains three colorways of the classic running silhouette, one by each co-founder of the Berlin-based sneaker boutique. All three sneakers carry a common color scheme consisting of grey, black and blue throughout the upper, along with a splash of white on the midsole. Each pair is limited to a mere 95 units and is schedule to go on sale September 24th, 2011.

Anteater x Saucony Jazz Original

Russian clothing label Anteater has teamed up with Saucony Originals for its first-ever footwear collaboration. Using the Jazz Original as a template, the staff at Anteater fabricated the sneakers in a mixture of grey nylon and grey suede. Gold accents with an overlapping white speckle were then added to the Saucony logo, the heel tag, the tongue tag, and finally, the outsole. The name of the Russian streetwear brand appears on the tongue tag and again on the insoles. You’ll also find Anteater’s signature anteater logo on the insole alongside the Saucony logo, with “Special Limited” printed beneath the insignia’s. Limited to 120 pairs, the sneakers are schedule to release sometime later this month along with a matching t-shirt through Creamshop and a small handful of other retailers.

Saucony Originals Jazz Low Pro – Fall 2011 Releases

If you’re not familiar with the difference between the Jazz Original and the Jazz Low Pro, the Low Pro is a trimmed down, sleeker alternative to the original Jazz Original which was was introduced several years ago in 2002. The Fall 2011 collection begins with three colorways of the Low Pro in Army Green/Bright Orange, Tan/Blue and Grey/White, each sporting a suede and nylon upper with leather trim on the heel tag and logo. Saucony Originals Jazz Original – Fall 2011 Releases

Saucony Originals most popular silo, the Jazz Original, is available now in a string of new colorways. The 80′s classic, which turned 30 this year, has been released in four new color variations as part of Saucony’s Fall 2011 collection. Each pair features the standard suede and nylon construction the Jazz O is known for along with leather detailing on the logo and heel tag. The color options include Grey/Dark Green, Charcoal/Blue, Brown/Red and Black/Red, which are priced at $53 a piece.

Originally slated to release last month but delayed due to the unexpected crisis in Asia, the 8cht x Saucony Originals Shadow 6000 “Invictus” finally released this past weekend.

8cht, which is pronounced Acht and sometimes referred to as simply 8 for short, is one of Amsterdam’s premier destinations for the latest sneakers. Since opening shop in 2006, their name has been known mostly among locals. Their presence in the sneaker world grows though as the shop teams up with Saucony Originals for its first sneaker collaboration.

Working with Saucony’s Shadow 6000 silhouette, 8cht produced a produced a detail heavy sneaker with premium materials and custom embroidery. A mixture of denim, suede, leather and mesh is used to construct the upper in a neutral white, black and red color scheme, joined by a gum outsole to extend the premium look. Further details include “Amsterdam” in white along the heel, a custom tongue tag featuring the number “8” and the word “Invictus” (Invincible in Latin) and a pair of “8cht” lace locks. Limited to 140 pairs, the 8cht x Saucony Sahdow 6000 “Invictus” was released on May 7th exclusively through 8cht in Amsterdam.

8cht x Saucony Originals Shadow 6000 “Invictus”

Collaborating with a major sneaker manufacturer can give a locally known shop worldwide recognition overnight. Such is the case with 8ach, who recently teamed up with Saucony Originals on an intriguing Shadow 6000.

8cht (pronounced Acht) has been a premier destination for sneaker heads in Amsterdam since 2006, but their existence has been unknown of by most outsiders. With some help from Saucony Originals, the shop is suddenly exposed to the world as its name becomes tied to one of the dopest Shadow 6000’s the market has seen in recent years (sorry Bodega). The sneakers feature a mixture of premium materials throughout the upper including denim, suede, leather and mesh, which are laid out in a modish white, black and red color scheme and complemented with a sticky gum outsole. Finer details include “Amsterdam” embroidered in white along the heel, a custom tongue tag featuring the number “8” and the word “Invictus”, which translates to invincible in Latin, and a custom lace lock with “8cht” printed across it. Additionally, the sneakers come packaged in a specially designed box, which unfortunately isn’t shown in this set of photos.

Limited to 150 pairs, the 8cht x Saucony Shadow 6000 was originally slated to be released yesterday exclusively through 8cht in Amsterdam, but due to the current crisis in Asia the sneakers have been delayed by at least four weeks. Bodega x Saucony Elite Round 3 & 4 Preview

Currently in it’s second phase, Bodega and Saucony plan to continue their partnership on the Elite Collection for quite some time. Thanks to FreshNGood, here we have a preview of some of the sneakers that’ll be releasing during round three and four. Showcased in the photos are premium offerings of the Shadow 6000, the Jazz 91, the Grid 9000 and the Master Control, all of which appear in neutral, tireless color schemes. Aside from a few pairs becoming available through Bodega’s Boston-based location, the Saucony Elite Collection is exclusive to Japanese retailers and is not distributed throughout the US.

Saucony Elite Spring 2011 Releases @ Bodega

The latest releases from the Saucony Elite product line have hit US stores, landing exclusively in the hands of Bodega. The lineup for the season presents us with five new styles, including four colorways of the Shadow 6000 silhouette and one of the Jazz 91. The Shadow 6000 model’s, available in grey, red, grey/blue and black/purple color options, feature a rich suede and premium leather build, while the Jazz ’91, available in grey/red, boasts a nylon body with suede overlays. Having helped develop the line, which is geared towards a small group of Japanese retailers, Bodega is the exclusive supplier of Saucony Elite products in the US. All the sneakers can be found in their Boston location now, as well as on their webstore, with each one limited to a total of 300 pairs.

The Jazz Original from Saucony Originals has withstood the test of time. The casual, yet sporty silhouette hasn’t changed it’s look in almost three decades now, still offering the extreme comfort and that not-trying-to-hard style they were created with in 1981 and still maintaining their status as the brand’s most popular seller. If you don’t have a pair in your collection you don’t know what your missing. Just ask anybody who has a pair what they think. Chances are they’ve got more then a few. And with this new Gray/Green version surfacing at retailers they may just be adding a new addition to the family. Saucony Shadow 5000 “Luxury Pack”

The other day we informed you about the long-overdue release of Sole Boutique’s collaboration with Saucony on the Shadow 5000. With Neon accents and graphics related to the San Antonio-based shop, the sneakers may be a little to much for old-school Saucony fans who prefer the more subtle approach they’ve come to adore over the years. If so, Saucony’s lined up three new colorways of their own in what’s known as the “Luxury Pack”. Constructed from perforated nubuck with nubuck overlays, the three-pack consists of Black/Purple, Green, and Grey/Blue color options of the Shadow 5000 with extend their rich, premium finishes onto the sprayed suede midsoles and the pigskin covered linings. If you’re looking for the finest and highest quality releases from Saucony, the name of this pack says it all.
