UNDFTD X Reebok Pump 20 Preview

With only a few days left until their official release UNDFTD has supplied us with a preview up their upcoming Reebok Pumps part of the Pump 20 campaign. For their edition of the Reebok Pump UNDFTD put together a pair which they have dubbed “Rain Check” in honor of the navy blue waterproof nylon base used throughout the upper. Since we dont have a full look at the sneakers just yet its hard to perdict at this time exactly what else may be included within the design but from what we can see here there are accents a few accents of yellow to accompany the navy blue. Hanging from the sneakers is a Pump keychain with both Reebok and UNDFTD branding along with the name of the Pumps.
The UNDFTD x Reebok Pump 20 will officially be released this coming Friday on November 20th, 2009 in a limited run of 31 pairs. Detailed photos of the sneakers should be dropping soon so stay tuned for further updates and click here to check out a slightly larger shot of the preview including some information regarding a release party at Undefeated.
Reebok Omni Lite Pump ‘Lumberjack’

“Way back, when I had the red and black lumberjack, with the hat to match…” That line from the 1994 hit single Juice by the late great Notorious B.I.G. always comes to mind when i see a red and black lumberjack (plaid) pattern, such as the one used throughout this Reebok Omni Lite Pump which we have personally dubbed the Lumberjack. The Omni Lite consists of an army green patent leather upper with a red/black plaid pattern on the toebox, portions of the side panels and around the ankle. Im not quite sure at this time but i believe the plaid is constructed from nylon, as is the the red tongue. To offset the design a white midsole was slapped on and black was added to the plastic pieces used on the upper.
The sneakers were officially released about two weeks and you should be able to find them at most Reebok distributors. If not pick a pair up at Karmaloop where you can save 20% off your order price by entering rep code JH17345 during checkout.
Packer Shoes x Reebok Pump 20 – Preview Pt. 2

Yesterday we got our first preview of the Packer Shoes x Reebok Pump 20 and within a few hours since then we have learned a little bit more about the sneakers and the inspiration behind them.
Dee Brown may be famous throughout the world for his no-look dunk and his “pump it up” gestures in the 1991 NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest, however, Dominique Wilkins was one of the very first NBA players to endorse the Pump when it was introduced in 1989. Dominique not only wore the sneakers on the court but he also appeared in Reebok Pump Commercials.
The younger crowd may not remember or may not have been old enough to remember the days when Dominique ran the courts in the Pumps so Packer Shoes has designed their Pumps in a nod to Dominique Wilkins. Only a few more preview images are being shown at this time thanks to SN but atleast we now have a better idea of what the sneakers will sort of look like color wise and the theme behind them. ‘85 and ‘90 are embroidered onto the heel of the shoes to represent the years Dominique Wilkins won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest and on the backside of on of the tongues is a tag reading “Human Highlight Film”, a nickname which Dominique Wilkins received during his days on the hardwood.
Stay tuned for further detailed photos of the sneakers coming soon and click here now to check out a shot of the tongue tags on the backside of each tongue.
JUICE x Reebok Pump 20

Knocking their name of the list of shops which have yet to provide any sort of look at their upcoming Reebok Pump part of the Reebok Pump 20 campaign is Hong Kong’s JUICE. While here in the US a lot of us seem to prefer simplicity and sometimes agree “less is more”, over in Hong Kong they tend to think exactly the opposite. Therefore JUICE put together a pair of Pumps which are sure to snap some necks, maybe not so much here in the states but defiantly in their homeland.
The JUICE x Reebok Pump 20 features a very unusual looking upper made up from white leather with portions of a rustic, oxidation-like material. Chrome is used on the Release Value unit on the heel as well as on the heel cap, and the Pump unit resting atop the tongue is translucent. Accents of blue are added to the mid-sole and outsole with majority of the mid-sole consisting of a gradient design which fades from a rust-like brownish color to white. The keychain included with the sneakers is translucent with a JUICE logo on it resembling the iconic NBC icon.
According to Hypebeast the JUICE x Reebok Pump 20 will be limited to a total of 24 pairs, a few pairs less then the 31 releasing from other shops. The sneakers will be officially releasing on November 20th, 2009 at JUICE where they will be holding a special release party with Sam Lee and DJ Miss Yellow.

St. Alfred x Reebok Pump 20 – Preview

This whole Reebok Pump 20 thing has got me s0 hyped i just cant bring myself to space the info on the remaining releases. I am a big Pump guy and can remember having my first pair way back in the 80s and its great to see the Pump making such a big comeback, a comeback in a major way at that.
We literally just gave you a preview of the Packer Shoes x Reebok Pump and now we present to you with a preview from the pair designed by Saint Alfred. The preview image gives us a look at the backside of the tongue which you can see is constructed from a gold/bronze quilted fabric. Just like all the other Reebok Pump 20 models designed by the 20 shops throughout the world the St. Alfred model will be limited to 31 pairs. The official release will go down on November 20th, 2009.
Stay tuned for detailed photos of the sneakers within the coming days and click here to check out a slightly larger photo.
Packer Shoes x Reebok Pump 20 – Preview

The Reebok Pump 20 releases are coming up real soon and there are still a few shops which have yet to give us look at what they have designed for the collection. Undefeated, HUF, Saint Alfred, Kicks/Hi and A.R.C. are among a few of the shops which have yet to drop any sort of preview of their Pumps. Packer Shoes out in New Jersey was on that list of shops to release any previewers, however the shop has recently dropped this sneak peek on us. Making sure their Pumps would be truly unique Packer Shoes had the “Pump” branding on the actual pump unit to swapped to read Packer. Besides for that, and being able to tell there is a great deal of white used throughout the sneaker, Packer Shoes is staying hush hush on the finer details for now.
Make sure you keep it locked for further details cause with the Reebok Pump 20 releases kicking off soon Packer Shoes only has a matter of days to come through with some detailed images.
