Ice Cream Board Flip ‘The Sequel’ - Customs for Pharrell

When it comes to custom sneakers, Mache is a beast. The skills he brings to the table are amazing and hes been laying out some top notch designs for awhile now. You have seen a few of them featured here on Sneaker Obsession, such as the Playstation Air Force Ones, Kanye West Air Force Ones, Comic Book SB Dunks and many more. Back in May I showed you a pair of Ice Cream Board Flips which Mache created for Pharrell Williams and today i present to you ‘The Sequel’ from Mache for Pharrell. The key to the design was to use two of the more familiar graphics from the Ice Cream line (the Ice Cream Cone Face and the Running Dog) added with a little bit Mache’s own flavor thrown in there. The right sneaker features the Ice Cream Cone Face logo while the left sneaker carries the Running Dog logo. The detail Mache put into the Ice Cream Cone Face logo is unbelievable and looks great plastered across the side of the Board Flips. The Running Dog was done in blue and that as well is very smooth looking. Mache gives a lot of his graphics this 3D look which is awesome, makes everything seem like its about to jump out at you. The colorway is very vibrant too and seems to flow perfectly with the colors of the Ice Cream Cone logo and the Running Dog logo. I wouldnt expect anything less from Mache though as he can always produce something to get a crowd buzzing. You already know Pharrell was loving these since he hit Mache up for a sequel to the first pair. Check out more shots after the jump.

Ice Cream Board Flip ‘P’ Customs - Made for Pharrell

Skateboard P, otherwise known as Pharrell is shown above holding a pair of custom designed Ice Cream Board Flip IIs which were specially designed for him. Fellow sneakerhead Pharrell reached out to designer JGoods to work on this project and add yet another custom sneaker to his ever growing collection. Working with an Ice Cream Board Flip as a base isnt something JGoods is all that familiar with but being a man of many talents he was pretty confident he could get the job done. Plus, how do you say no to somebody like Pharrell when they reach out to you for a job like this? You dont, you just make it happen and get the job done, which JGoods clearly did here. Besides for the obvious green, black and white checker pattern JGoods added an ice cream design which is shown dripping down all around the top of the sneaker. You take notice to it all the way up the lace tab, around the ankle and out to the back on the heel. The dripping ice cream design also found its way to the top of the tongue too. Im sure Pharrell was more then pleased with the final results as JGoods put in a lot of time and effort to make them truly unique and clean for the hip hop mogul. These puppies cost Pharrell a whopping $1,100, but what do you expect for such a quality job like this. More pictures of all the details follow after the jump, check em out to see that dripping ice cream design up close.

Reebok CL x Tiffany Dunk Customs

I saw these on the Nike SB forum and thought they were pretty cool since its a pair of custom sneakers on a base you dont see used all that often. A member on the Nike SB forum by the name of GHENGIS X JULIAN used a Reebok CL sneaker along with the Tiffany Dunk colorway and some wood burning to make a cool pair of custom Reeboks. He used a pair of old beaters since it was his first time wood burning and even though the job may not be perfect it is for sure a pretty clean job for a first timer trying their hand at wood burning. The Tiffany Dunk colorway always makes for a nice color combo too in my opinion. With a little work here and there these are a pair of customs i wouldnt mind having myself. More pictures after the jump.
Reebok Pump Omni Lite - Pink / Elephant Print
The new Reebok Pump Omni Lite in the pink/white colorway with elephant print has hit numerous Reebok retailers. They are pretty much your usual Omni Lite Pumps, just in pink with an elephant print patter, which i happen to like personally. Grab them before they sell out, you can get them at Karmaloop here for a price of $100. If you use Rep Code ‘JH17345′ when you checkout you can get yourself a nice savings.
Ice Cream - Board Flip Customs for Pharrell Williams

Mache created these custom Ice Cream (Reebok) Board Flips about 2 years ago or so. Since then they have been seen on multiple sites, have won an ISS contest, been displayed in magazines and now have even been posted on the BBC blog by Pharrell Williams himself. Pharrell and the rest of N.E.R.D. were at the BBC shop in NYC for an autograph signing this weekend, along with an concert they were doing at MSG. While Pharrell was in town Mache had a chance to meet up with him and delivery these sneakers to him personally. Pharrell liked them so much he took a minute to throw up a picture of them on his blog. As we can always expect from Mache the overall finish is pretty dope and deff a nice piece for somebody like Pharrell whos known to always be on the look out to rock something you arent. Check out some more pictures after the jump and be sure to hit Mache up his Myspace page here.
Reebok Pump Pay Dirt Re-Issued

Word has it Reebok will put the Pay Dirt Pumps back into production come August 2008. These Reebok Pumps originally became available way back in 1992 when star athletes such as Roger Clemens, The Big Hurt Frank Thomas and Emmit Smith once sported them in the weight runs and on the fields during workouts. Reebok is looking to re-release the sneakers sometime in August as part of their Pre-Season Collection. Stay tuned for more info in the coming months. Via Complex.
