MyAirShoes hates on Sneaker Obsession
I received a pretty interesting email today from a viewer by the name of Mark. Below is the actual email copied and pasted from the Sneaker Obsession inbox.
“What’s good Sneaker Obsession. Just want to let you guy’s know that I’m a daily viewer on the site and I love what you guy’s are doing here. I am also a reader on many other sneaker related blog’s as you can imagine any sneaker head would be. A few day’s ago i was on My Air Shoes and noticed abunch of customs which have been posted on your site before. I left a comment, as I have done on many other post’s before with something along the lines of “these are nice, I’ve seen them on sneaker obesession before”. Since I waste countless hours online I tend to follow comment’s and stuff just to see what people are talking about. I noticed that the comment I left which mentioned Sneaker Obsession got deleted, in 2 posts. I thought that was strange, since none of my comment’s were ever deleted before. Then I thought to myself, hey wait, maybe It’s cause of the fact I mentioned another site which they may not like. So I commented again, asking why my comment got deleted and If there was some sort of hate towards SO. Wouldn’t you know it my comment got deleted once again. It seems it My Air Shoes hate’s on Sneaker Obsession for some reason. Maybe you guy’s know of some reason or maybe It’s just a hater before a hater. It’s funny though cause if you look in they’re custom section you can see how the section almost follows your content, same custom’s posted in the same order. I thought that was sort of lame. I believe in giving props were props are due but hey that’s just me. To me it now seems like the people behind My Air Shoes are nothing but a bunch of lames and I can honestly say that’s the last time I will be visiting their site. I dont want to support haters. Keep up the good work with what you guy’s are doing here. Customizers know SO for helping them out so continue going strong and fu** hater ass sites like My Air Shoes and whoever else may follow during your journey. If you happened to read My Air Shoes I would suggest you stop visiting they’re site as well since they show hate towards you. I will forever always be a loyal reader on Sneaker Obsession and the rest of the blogs who aren’t scared to give props. Take care fellas, and females if their are any.”
Pretty interesting email to use here at Sneaker Obsession. Not have we once ever had a problem with My Air Shoes but from the sounds of it they have a problem with us so its pretty surprising to get something like this in the inbox. I dont really have much to say about the matter cause there are plenty of haters out there so you just gotta take things from where they come from. Its no surprise when somebody shows hates cause you know your always bound to across a few haters during your life. Thanks for taking the time to email us Mark and showing your interest in Sneaker Obsession, its people like you who we do this for.
Reading is your friend
Before we carry on with anymore posts theres a little something a lot of viewers need to do. And that is READ. Im a laid back guy who doesnt get pissed off very often so dont take this the wrong way. Its not an attack at you, its just something to fill you in on so you can get what you want quickly. Countless amounts of emails and comments come in every single day from viewers asking where they can get many of the custom sneakers featured on the site. First off, you gotta read and pay attention to what is being said. If they are being called customs or custom sneakers, that should tell you something right there. Not that all custom sneakers arent for sale, but a lot of you are coming off like you believe the sneakers are general releases. Within the posts you will also find about who designed the sneakers, along with links to contact them either via email, Myspace, website or whatever it may be. I wish i had the time to answer all the emails and comments, but i dont have that kind of time myself. I get back to a lot of you when i can but when it all comes down to it you really dont need to ask me at all. Cause like i said, everything you wanna know about who made them and how you can reach them is included in the posts. Just take a moment to read everything and you will be able to contact the customizer directly, without having to try and get in contact with me. You will be able to find out all the info you want a lot quicker if you go directly to the source (artist of the sneaker) instead of asking me who only takes his time to help these people out by showing you what they can do. Once again, im a nice guy and you cant really make me angry so dont take this as an attack. Think about it as knowledge to better your experience on Sneaker Obsession and get the info you want quickly.
Sneaker Obsession delay due to sickness
Whats going on guys and girls. Many of you who visit the site daily have probably noticed nothing has been posted since Saturday. I am currently fighting a sickness that has had me laid up in bed since Sunday night. I attended the NHRA Super Nationals at Raceway Park in NJ this past weekend and i have either come down with food poisoning or sun poisoning. I havent really done to much besides pray to the toilet god since i got home Sunday night. This all comes with a killer migraine too. If youve had a migraine then im sure you know my pain right now. I cant even look at the screen for longer then 5mins. Its killing me just to type this but i wanted to let all the daily viewers know that tomorrow i will carry on with the regular posting you are use to. I am about 50% better right now so come tomorrow i should (hopefully) be at 100% and good to go again. Make sure to keep it locked cause i’ll have a lot of new customs coming your way within the next few days.
Kicks And Chicks – Check The Hype Episode 1
The crew over at KicksandChicks have started a new webcast called “Check The Hype”. The episode is hosted by Judy Styles and Rod Nikes and lasts almost about 8 minutes. Throughout episode 1 they talk about the Nike Air Yeezy shoe, Michael Jordan autographed jerseys, Diddys David Beckham deal, along with some coverage on Dunks, Air Force Ones and more. Its great to see a group like KicksAndChicks branching out into a webcast which we can all look forward to from now on. Air Jordan Jeep Grand Cherokee
I got a laugh out of this when i saw it this morning over on TSG, an Air Jordan Jeep Grand Cherokee. A guy by the name of Roland from a company called Graphic Signs in Fayetteville, GA just so happens to love Air Jordan shoes. TSG reports that Roland wanted to go a different route when it came to advertising his company which does custom vehicle wraps. He wanted to show just what the shop is capable of and at the same time have a design which he truly loved, something which was part of his everyday life. In comes the Air Jordan wrap. Roland is a guy who has a serious passion for Air Jordan shoes and wanted to display that in his work.Roland designed the wrap to have the popular Air Jordan Cement pattern displayed across the whole vehicle, along with the well known Jordan Jumpman logo printed on the side. We cant really see the hood but there appears to be something on there as well, possibly another Jumpman logo. As you can easily see the rims even include the Jumpman logo. This has got to be by far the craziest dedication to Jordans that i have ever seen. Air Jordan fans are known to do some pretty off the wall things but this one just takes the cake. Many props to Roland for a job well done and if you happen to ever be in the Atlanta area watch for this Jeep Grand Cherokee to roll down the streets. Check out more pictures after the jump.
Air Jordan 5 Fusion Commerical
Last month Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan 5 Fusion in a total of 4 colorways, three for the guys and one for kids. Along with the release of the Air Jordan Fusions these 2 commercials also were released by the company.
