We’re back after a brief delay

Im sure a lot of you have noticed since Thursday of last week Sneaker Obsession was offline. The site was not accessible and a message displaying the site as disabled was shown. We were experiencing difficulties with our server and have since “set up shop” with a new server. It took quite awhile to get the box setup and to transfer all the files and change DNS nameserver info and all that mumbo jumbo. Fear not though since we are back in action after that brief delay. After working out some more of the minor bugs on this new server we will carry on with your regular daily updates. My appologizes for the misinterruption.
Ralph Lauren Purple Label x LeBron James: Basketball

Ralph Lauren Purple Label and the NBA star LeBron James have teamed up on a collaboration to benefit the LeBron James Family Foundation. The collaboration features a limited edition Ralph Lauren Purple Label x LeBron James basketball in Purple Labels signature colors black and purple with Ralph Lauren written across it. The ball also comes with a black and purple Ralph Lauren velvet duster bag and a nice box. Oh yea, did we forget to mention that the ball is autographed by LeBron James himself? All the money which is generated through sales will go straight to the LeBron James Family Foundation which seeks to inspire children to be physically fit, academically focused and environmentally aware, and to empower single-parent families to succeed. The basketball is limited to a total of 300 and each one is invidiually numbered. Available now at Ralphlauren.com for a retail price of $1000. Hit the jump to check out more shots of the basketball.
Nike Air Max 90 Hamburger

Nike Sportswear picked out 8 different artists/creatives/designers/photographers and gave them each 1 Nike Sportswear icon to interpret. Creative Olle Hemmendorff from Sweden was given the Nike Air Max 90 shoes to work with. Olle defiantly did some thinking outside the box when he created this Nike Air Max 90 Hamburger made exactly to look like a pair of Air Max’s. Yes, it is really edible too, for aslong as the food stays fresh of course. The hamburger is made up of 8 layers which includes buns, cheese, tomatoes, sauce, mean and more. I like how Olle cut the cheese (no pun intended) to do the Nike Swoosh and the sauce on the heel is brilliant. These as well as the designs from the 7 other artists/creatives and etc are on display at SneakersNStuff in Stockholm, Sweden.
