Hot Chicks, Cool Kicks Presented by Playboy

playboy-hot-chicks-cool-kicks

Recently Playboy Magazine updated their online website with a new feature in the style section called ‘Hot Chicks, Cool Kicks’. The name of this feature pretty much speaks for itself. Playboy picked up a couple of sneakers from Supra, Nike, Adidas, Alife, Reebok, and the Hundreds and had Playboy Playmate Irina Voronina, who is also Miss January 2001, model the sneakers in simply lingerie. It would be nice to see Playboy turn this into a monthly feature in their magazine, using their gorgeous models to show off a bunch of the new releases for the month. Im sure something like that could pull in a bunch of new memberships.

Please be advised that the model is not nude but regardless of that the images still may be considered NWS depending on your employer.

To check out the full pictorial which includes over 20 pictures please click here to be directed to the feature on Playboy.

Incredible Hulk Buys New Shoes

While checking out mashKULTURE i stumbled upon a post the group recently put up about this artist Will Murai. Im into art to begin with but what really caught my attention is the pictures shown above. As you can see the Increbile Hulk just bought himself a fresh new pair of Nike Dunks in white and green and is seen tossing the box to the side. Besides for the work being top notch and i was digging the design cause of concept which includes the use of Dunks.

Theres a lot of other cool non sneaker releated designs on Will Mura’s site so if your into artwork make sure you check it out.

Michael Jordan Motorsports Trailer Gets A Makeover

micheal-jordan-motorsports-trailer

The official trailer for the Michael Jordan Motorsports team has gotten a fresh new paint job to give it a brand new look this year. To match the design on the new bikes and helmets, as well as the Air Jordan VI Motorsports, Michael Jordan Motorsports added a big thick strip of the signature Air Jordan cement pattern in white/black.

Thanks to the crew at FatBoyKickz, who saw the trailer on the road in Chicago, we have some pictures of the new design to show you. The trailer as well as the truck itself got the cement pattern addition which literally wraps around the whole black truck from front to back. If you happen to ever be in the area where the Michael Jordan Motorsports is scheduled to race make sure you stop by the event to check out the trailer for yourself and maybe even get a chance to meet the man himself.

Levis Knocks Off Supra, Vans & Converse

levis-supra-sneakers

As i was reading the SoleBlvd blog i came across this post which im sort of disappointed to see. Levis, a MAJOR company, and a legend in their industry appears to be knocking off designs from Supra, Vans and Converse. After word broke that Levis had a sneaker designed like a pair of Supra Skytops SolveBlvd decided to hit up the local FootAction and take a look at what in store themselves. Low and behold, not just a knock off of a pair of Skytops, but also ripped designs from Vans and Converse stocked on the shelves. You would think a company like Levis would know better, but it appears not.

As SoleBlvd said its not totally the fault of Levis. The work is sourced out to companies who are given full rights over the design and allowed to use the companies branding to move the products. But even with that being said, Levis had to know what was coming to them and obviously had no intentions of stopping distributing the product due to a knocked off design. Thousands Of Shoes Appear On Miami Expressway

A few days ago on January 2nd thousands of shoes appeared on the morning Palmetto Expressway disrupting traffic for hours. Included were work boots, running shoes, womens heels, tennis shoes and maybe even a pair of Air Force Ones or Nike Dunks. Nobody is quite sure where the shoes came from but it took a crew several hours to sweep up all the shoes and push them to the side of the Expressway. They were all then loaded into dump trucks and taken out to the an empty field in northern Miami-Dade County where non-profit organizations such as Soles4Souls are taking the shoes and distributing them to the poor. This is defiantly a pretty crazy news story, to just come across thousands of shoes in the road and have no idea where they came from. I wonder if anybody stopped and picked up any heat before the cops got there.

Hit the jump to check out a quick CNN news clip of the event.
