A Sneakerheads Closet
Well known photographer/artist Romain Laurent has captured this image which im sure a lot of us can relate to. One of the complications many sneakerheads face when it comes to their sneaker obsession is the lack of room to store their sneakers. Some are lucky enough to have separate rooms which they can dedicate to their sneaker obsession but for a lot of the younger generation out they are, for now, stuck to stocking their sneakers in their bedrooms either setup somehow around the room or just piled in the closet.

LeBron James Signature Sneaker Collection
Every so often we come across pictures of some sort of crazy sneaker display setup showing off a collectors collection. Back in March we posted some pictures of an insane Air Jordan Display Case showing off all 24 Air Jordan models. We have now come across some images of a LeBron James Signature sneaker collection displayed on a custom wire frame setup. Although not the nicest of setups you defiantly have to respect the collection and how its displayed within the given space in the room. Theres also a section of the wall which has various Air Jordans and Nike releases such as my personal favs, the royal blue Foams.

DJ AM Sneaker Collection Pictures
When i woke up this morning i was still in shock about how DJ was found dead early yesterday evening in his NYC apartment. I personally only had the chance to meet him once but after yucking it up for about 10-15minutes i felt like i knew DJ AM for years. Thats just the kind of guy he was, he didnt act like he had celebrity status and was a level above the “average folks”.
Late last night, in honor of his life and his serious passion for sneakers we presented you the DJ AM Sneaker Collection Video which was filmed back in 2006 for MTV News.
Today we would like to provide you with some pictures that were taken during that segment with MTV News. The video clip didnt really display to many of DJ AM’s favorite sneakers like these pictures do so click here or follow the jump to check em out.
Vacation To Florida – Will Return on April 13th
Sneaker Obsession will be free of updates from April 4th to April 13th. I will be taking a much need vacation with my girlfriend down to Florida for a week. Unfortunately this will be a work free vacation, which means no working on a laptop and no updates on the blog while i am away. Its painful but im sure ill survive. You also wont catch me on Twitter or any other social network site either.
Expect plenty of updates when i get back and a few new features as well. The site should even be on a new server by then as well, which will speed things back up to normal and get rid of the delays. Until then, stay safe.
Gourmet Launches New Website & Online Store
Gourmet has just launched their brand new website which even includes an online shop full of Gourmet products. Along with the fresh new website, which is very minimal and easy to navigate, Gourmet gives us a look at their complete Spring/Summer 2009 Collection which features a bundle of sneakers and accessories such as watches and pendants. Gourmet even added a nice list of Stockists from around the world so now you can find a store near you which distributes the products.

Nike SB Boxes Go Blue
Over the years the Nike SB boxes have gone through a few color changes, originally starting with orange and now the latest being blue. The Nike SB April 2009 Releases kicked off the debut of the new boxes with all the releases being shipped in the blue packaging. This isnt the only change Nike SB has made either, as we have noticed some of the releases lately havent included the popular stuffed tongue which many people have become to love on the Nike SBs. The box could honestly make no difference to me personally, but come on Nike, dont get rid of the stuffed tongues.
