Clothes Off Our Back Celebrity Auction

Now through March 12th Clothes Off Our Back is having an auction to raise money for childrens charities. Their are many celebrity related items up for auction but what caught our attention here the most at Sneaker Obsession is the fact they have custom designed Pumas which were designed by celberties. These celebrities include Lloyd Banks, Emily Blunt, Brittany Murphy, Billy Morrison and others. The Puma Mongolian BBQ sneakers were custom designed by each celebrity during the Sundance Film Festival “House of Hype” and they each donated them (their idea) to support Clothes Off Our Back and childrends charities. The auction winner gets the size of their choice and the custom sneaker will be made after the auction ends. All proceeds from the auction will go towards Americas Second Harvest, The Art of Elysium, World Education and autism research. Check out Clothes Off Our Back for more info and other items up for auction.
Puma Sky 2 St. Pattys Day

St. Patricks Day will be upon us soon and to celebrate Puma has released a St. Pattys Day sneaker. The model of choice was a Puma Sky 2 which the company has done up in a green, cold and white colorway. The strap is kind of cool on these, the front of the strap says Sky II and on the back theres a laser etched pot of gold, which is of course done in gold. On the back heel of these sneakers Puma has included an embroidered clover to go along with the St. Pattys Day theme and on the tongue theres a gold etched clover. We cant say these will bring you luck but we can agree that these are a nice pair of St. Patricks Day sneakers which would make a nice piece to add to the collection for all you Irish folks like myself. Available now at Overkill.
Paradise Pumas by Qustom Queen

Heres some new hot custom sneakers by Qustom Queen. Literally, these things are hot, you can just feel the warmth coming off that sun haha. Nah, but seriously. This time around we have a pair of Puma sneakers which The Queen has dubbed the “Paradise Pumas”. The customer who placed the order said she wanted something with a tropical vibe to it, along with the green and yellow Jamaican flag incorporated into the sneakers somewhere. Qustom Queen was going through some photos gathering some ideas and she came across a lovely beach setting with a nice sunset. After some brainstorming and getting her colors together, The Queen laid out a design which sure does give off that warm tropical beach vibe. The Jamaican flag was added to the back of the sneakers and Qustom Queen left her tag on the heel to finish things up. These custom sneakers make me wanna take my vacation, jump on a plane and hit up one of the islands just to sit back and max out in a lounge chair. To bad thats not gonna happen. A nice cold day in NY is calling my name. Nice job Queen, keep it up.
Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Puma Clyde Pack

We just showed you the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air First Round Pack by Puma and now heres the Clyde Pack. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Puma Clyde Pack takes a different approach to the Fresh Prince era. Instead of something flashy in bright colors, Puma and the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air went with a more classy sort of feel. While still maintaining that Fresh look. These sneakers include the use of Italian style croc-skin leather and gold highlights throughout. Instead of the neon green watch as in the First Round Pack you get a gold Forcer watch with these. The tongue of these sneakers have an elegant looking patch in gold that says The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and on the side of the sneakers towards the back it says Bel-Air. Expected to be released on May 17th. Via HB.
Fresh Prince of Bel-Air West Philly First Round Pack

First off, before i go any further, lets get it right. The famous TV show ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel Air’ is from the 90s people. I dont know how many times i have heard people talking about the bright vibrant colors Will Smith you use to wear on the show and refer to it as 80’s fashion. Now that we got that straight lets take a look at this Fresh Prince of Bel-Air West Philly First Round Pack by Puma. Its obvious to see that bright colorful clothing is taking off once again as it did in the early 90s so Puma got together with The Fresh Prince to bring you back to those good ol’ days. The West Philly First Round sneakers come in white, black and pink and features a graffiti style which is along the same lines of what you see in the opening credits of the show. The tongue of the sneaker says The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in the famous graffiti font and on the back of the left sneaker it says West and on the right, yup you got it, Philly. Also, under the Puma logo on the side of the sneakers it says Fresh Prince. The pack includes a neon green Agitation watch too which looks like it was snatched right off the arm of The Fresh Prince. Will Smith was known for setting a fashion trend in the early 90s through the show, so dont miss out on copping these instant classics. Will Smith was what Kanye is today. A trend setter. Only thing this, here we are over 10 years later and people are still following The Fresh Prince trend. Will people still care about the Kanye trend in 10years to come? We shall see. These sneakers are expect to drop May 17th at select Puma retailers. Be sure to check out the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Puma Clyde Pack which gives a different approach to the Fresh Prince era. Via HB.
Puma x Bodega ‘Spy II’ Hi

The fellas out in Boston from Bodega got together with Puma to bring you this Sky II Hi, being dubbed Spy II Hi. Inspired from the classic comic ‘Spy vs Spy’, youll notice features on these shoes which pay homage to the Cold War era, which is when the comic was released. At first you may not catch the little touches here and there, things such as morse code, bullet holes, dynamite swingtags and even a stash pocket hidden in the tongue. The hidden pocket includes a secret message to decode, that leads to a safe, which leads to something top secret. What could it be? We dont know yet. When designing a sneaker around a ’spy’ releated theme you have to keep things simple to the point they dont jump out and scream at you, and i think Bodega handled it nicely. What good is a spy who is noticed at first glance? To actually enjoy these sneakers and the design put behind them you need to take a minute to actually look over them and appreciate what Bodega and Puma did here. Images are thanks to Sneaker Freaker, visit their site to read a full interview with Bodega about the Spy Hi II.
