Puma Clyde Garry Bone

Over the past few years Livestock did a lot of work with Puma and to show some respect for the great work they sent Garry Bone of Livestock his very own 1 of 1 Puma Clyde. When a major company such as Puma takes the time out to make a shoe just for you that surely says something. The design on the side is hand drawn and on the inside of the tongue it displays “1 of 1″. Dont forget to take notice of Garrys name printed under the Puma logo on the side, a nice touch which really makes these special. The year 2008 is also drawn on the other side of the sneakers. Congratulations to Garry Bone and the whole crew at Livestock for doing things big over the years. Enjoy those kicks Garry.

Puma First Round Santa Cruz

The people at the popular skateboard company Santa Cruz are the minds behind these Puma First Round collaborations. Puma decided they wanted to team up with the guys over at Santa Cruz to have them design a limited edition First Round, which happens to be a popular base model for collaborations these days. The sneakers consist of a loud and flashy blue/black design with Santa Cruz embroidered across the tongue in deep red. On the heel theres the Screaming Hand design in blue with a red background. If your a Santa Cruz fan, or just happen to like the collaborations with the First Rounds then make sure to mark your calendars for the month June when these are due to release.

Pixelation Puma Custom Sneaker

Pixelation Puma Custom Sneaker

Yesterday we showed you the Raphael Puma Custom Sneakers by Briezrs and today we bringing you his newest Puma creation which is cleverly dubbed ‘Pixelation’. The idea for this custom Puma came from Briezrs trying to zoom in on some pictures on his computer. Probably something NWS but we wont go there. Haha just messing with you Briezrs. Anyway, i am sure you are all familiar with what happens when you try to blow up or zoom in on a photo way beyond its normal resolution. The image becomes a blur and you see each and every pixel (square). This struck an idea in the mind of Briezrs. To use it may just look like squares but in the mind of a customizer like Briezrs it looked like art waiting to be used. He pictured shades of different colors mixed together to form an eye catching design from something that normally looks awful in its normal state. The final result using bright vibrant shades of green is for sure more then what you would expect from using a blurred picture as inspiration. Briezrs work is defiantly improving and the ideas are coming along very well. There are for sale in his shop along with a few of his other customs so check out the Briezrs website and check out more detailed pictures after the jump.

Raphael Puma Custom Sneakers

Raphael Puma Custom Sneakers

This pair of custom Pumas didnt really start out with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle theme in mind at first. Customizer Briezrs started out with a pair of Pumas with no idea really, he laid down the green and black pattern, and then cover the Puma formstripes in red. Behind those fatty laces the tongue is covered in a red and white checkered pattern to match the Puma logo on the back of the sneaker. However, this is not something Briezers himself made. The sneakers came with the red and white checkered pattern on the inside on the tongue, Briezers just cut the tongue open, stuffed it up a bit and then turned it around so the design would display on the top. After the paint dried and he took a look at these custom sneakers he decided they reminded him of Raphael from the TMNJ. The green and black design sort of looks like a turtle shell and Raphael was the turtle who wore red, so the formstripes go along with the color Raphael was known to wear. I gotta admit, the green/black/green colorway is pretty nice with that white sole. To check out more work by Briezrs or to just hit him up with your questions/comments visit his website here.

‘Deep Plum Concrete’ Puma Clydes

Deep Plum Concrete - Puma Clyde Custom Sneakers

So its been a little while since we have seen much from Rob L and his custom Puma sneakers but apparently hes whipped up some things in the past few months which he will show off in the next few weeks. Until then we have this pair of custom Puma Clydes which Rob has dubbed ‘Deep Plum Concrete’. These Puma Clydes started as a pair of limited edition Easter Clydes from 2006. Some would think its crazy to mess around with a pair of sneakers that are limited to begin with, but on the other hand some may look at this as making a limited edition even more exclusive. Rob says the combination of a smooth concrete paint design matched with a set of deep plum laces and formstripes makes this pair of custom sneakers one of his favorite so far. Rob puts a lot of work into his customs and it defiantly pays off. Just going around that gold Puma/Clyde logo take enough time itself. What Rob does to get that done is use a fine brush and very carefully paints around the letters, then he takes a little bit of watered down paint to get a clean finish. He then uses a toothpick and some masking fluid to cover the letters and then goes at it with his design. After everything is said and done and the paint has tried, Rob just rubs that masking fluid off and its look good as new. Mos Def a detail that adds a lot to the final result, well done Rob, as always. Check out more pictures after the jump and check out Robs site to see more of his work.

Puma Hooper Mid Decades

Two new Puma Hooper Mid Decades have recently hit Puma distributors all over the place. The two new colorways include a black pair which uses the colors purple, white and blue. The second colorway is a white pair which if you ask me is a total switch from the black pair. Whereas the black pair is covered in vibrant colors and a flashy design the Puma Hooper Mid Decades in the white colorway are more sort of laid back with their smooth colors. The white Puma Hooper Mid Decade, which you can find pictures of after the jump includes the colors green and blue besides just white. Currently available at select Puma Retailers so make sure to call your local shops or hit up our “Shops” page to check out some online retailers.
