Pastry Sugar Pies
The latest offering from Pastry Shoes comes in the form of this high top design known as the Sugar Pies. The sneakers feature a lace-up and velcro closure with patent and metallic trims on panels in a pink, silver, white and black color scheme. Pastry is printed across the tongue in what appears to be metallic silver metal letters and the liner lining is made up on nylon in a multi-colored design. Straight across the laces is a black patent leather strap which says Pastry on it and rhinestones have been implanted on soles.
The Pastry Sugar Pies are available now at DrJays in sizes 6-10 for $75.
Pastry Shoes – Secret Sundae Hi
Strictly for the ladies Pastry Shoes comes through with a fresh new silhouette for the Spring/Summer of 2009 known as the Secret Sundae Hi. The Pastry Secret Sundae features bold colors and designs on a smooth leather upper. Pastry branding comes in on the heel, button on the side of the upper and on the tongue tag. Theres also a little Pastry branding on the sole which has designs of Sundaes. Bright laces are the added cherry on this sundae! Two color schemes are available for your choice, Strawberry Banana and Berry Smooth.

Pastry Fab Cookie Zipper
The Pastry Fab Cookie Zipper which we first caught a look at during the preview of the Pastry Spring/Summer 2009 Collection has just recently landed at retailers. Pastry used their popular Fab Cookie silhouette and added to it a zipper which zips straight up the center of the tongue. To debut the launch of the newly designed Fab Cookie Pastry created two colorways to set things off, black/light copper & pink/purple.
If your interested in these you better move quick ladies cause as you may already know Pastry shoes dont last all that long on the shelves or online at retailers. You can however get them now while supplies last at FinishLine for $69.99 a pop.
Pastry Glam Pie Hi ‘Igniters’
With all the talk about Air Jordan, Nike SB and Retro releases dropping in 2009 we’re making sure not to leave the ladies out with the updates on Pastry Shoes. If you happen to watch Daddys Girls on MTV (I admit it, i do) youll know that Angela and Vanessa Simmons have been working on their Pastry line and marketing it. The two ladies have been going strong for awhile now and have themselves a company which now includes not just sneakers but a whole clothing and bag collection for the ladies.
One of the newest releases to come from Pastry, footwear wise, is the Glam Pie Hi ‘Igniters’. The upper of the Igniters Glam Pie Hi uses a multi-color design which has metallic purple panels with diamond shapped cutouts, premium purple leather and orange croc material. White patent leather is used on the top flap of the tongue with the script Pastry logo in aqua to match the laces and outsole. The Pastry Shoes Glam Pie Hi ‘Igniters’ also includes a rhinestone embellished “Glam” lace lock set and engraved pie designs on the tread.

Pastry Spring/Summer 2009 Collection Preview
Vanessa and Angela Simmons, and the Pastry Shoes team have released a couple exclusive photos of their Spring/Summer 2009 Collection. In the photos both Vanessa and Angela are seen rockin some of the sneakers and clothing which the Pastry line will release in the new couple of weeks. It looks like even the Pastry ladies have given in to the strap hype and designed some models with a velcro strap. There is even a pair that includes the use of a zipper like we’ve seen on some custom sneakers before.

Pastry Fab Cookie ‘Cheetah Grape’ Boots
The newest pair of Pastry Shoes to be released falls into the Pastry Fab Cookie boot collection. Dubbed the ‘Cheetah Grape’ these Fab Cookie books come in an eye popping white, black and purple/grape colorway. Further accents include pink and gold. The black and white cheetah print is defiantly an interesting look, not something i can personally relate to but then again thats why Pastry is made for the ladies and not the men. But hey, maybe someday the lovely Simmons’ girls will break into mens footwear. If Soulja Boy can do it with the Soulja Boy Tell Em Signature Yums then im sure Angela and Vanessa Simmons could get something going.
