PF Flyers Bob Cousy Redesigned For Holiday 2009
The classic Bob Cousy All-American shoe from PF Flyers has been given a fresh new makeover for the holiday 2009 season. It has been revamped with luxurious glossy and metallic leathers and features leather laces for the very first time. Originally released in 1956, the sneaker was worn by the legendary Boston Celtics superstar, Bob Cousy also known as “Mr. Basketball” who is responsible for the #14 that hangs high above the hardwood at Boston Garden. The shoe features a one-of-a-kind Gullwing Closure, reverse pigskin heel, counters for controlled heel movement, and the authentic, model-specific logo markings and PF insole.
The newly designed PF Flyers Bob Cousy All-American is available now at select retailers in black textile and khaki/moss green textile.
Official Barack Obama Basketball Sneakers
Mitchell Rose, a Brooklyn, NY resident is looking to change the footwear industry like Barack Obama changed politics (Quote curiosity of NBC). The former New York Golden Goves boxer has been on the grind for the past couple of months with a brand new hustle, pushing what he calls the official Barack Obama basketball sneakers.
Mitchell says Obama’s love and passion for the game of basketball inspired him to design and actually produce the Barack Obama basketball sneakers which he feels even the President himself would rock. The shoes obviously takes a few design cues from Nike and Jordan Brand. An Air Jordan 9 mid-sole can clearly been seen on high top sneakers along with a silhouette of Obama (which glows in the dark) placed on the side of the upper which reminds of a Chuck Taylor patch or the branding usually found on an And1 sneaker. The shoe lace holders on the upper are made up to look like boxing gloves cause according to Mitchell Rose Barack Obama is a “fighter the way he beat up Hilliary Clinton and Senator McCain.” 44 is printed on the tongue of the sneakers to represent Obama being the 44th present and Obama is printed across the heel of the sneakers.

Radii Footwear Fall/Winter 2009 Collection
Last month when Jay-Z took to the stage during the ‘Answer The Call’ benefit concert at Madison Square Garden he was seen sporting a pair of high top sneakers which had many people baffled as to what sneakers they actually were. Sneakerheads immediately to the web searching for answers and just a few days after the concert we were able to tell you that Jay-Z was rocking the Radii 420, from Radii Footwear, a high end sneaker line created by 26yr old designer Casey Arisohn. The Radii 420 is a sneaker which Jay and celebrities such as Flo Ride, Travis from Gym Class Heroes, Gwen Stefani and the Black Eyed Peas are known to seen in from time to time.
This wasnt the first time Jay-Z had been seen wearing the Radii 420 and you can best believe it wont be the last as Radii Footwear is getting ready to present their Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. Radii will be bringing an unbridled passion for art and design during this Holiday season with the launch of their Fall/Winter line which is set to officially launch on Thursday, October 15th. The shoes will range in prices from $85-$120.

Jay-Z Has Been Wearing The Radii 420 Top
On September 11th, 2009 Jay-Z and company put on the ‘Answer The Call’ benefit concert at Madison Square Garden in New York. When Jay-Z walked out onto the stage for the night he was seen wearing a pair of high-top sneakers which a huge strap across the ankle. Then he showed up on the Jay Leno show last night with Kanye and Rhinna wearing the same sneakers. After this many folks started speculating on what exactly the sneakers were, whether they were a new model part of his Rocawear footwear collection or something from a company which has yet to hit the mainstream.
Thanks to some comments on Twitter we have learned that Jay-Z was rocking a pair of sneakers from Radii Footwear, more specifically a design known at the 420 Top, one of five models Radii produces at the moment. Hov hasnt been the only artist or celebrity to rock Radii sneaker though, i guess just due to the fact he has gotten so much TV coverage lately the sneakers have really caught the eyes of viewers in the past few days. Artists such as the Black Eyed Peas, Flo Ride and Travis from Gym Class Heroes have also been seen rocking Radii Footwear.
If their collaboration with IM King back in July didnt give them enough exposer to the consumers having a hugely followed hip hop icon like Jay-Z wearing the sneakers is defiantly bound to give them a nice little bump into the limelight. Billionaire Boys Club Building City Hi-Top Sneakers
For Season 9 of their collection Billionaire Boys Club introduced the Building City Print, a design which showed up on tops, pants and messenger bags. Continuing with the new graphic BBC has put together the Building City Hi-Top Pack. The lineup consists of four Chuck Taylor style hi-top sneakers which all sport the building city print throughout the upper on either a green, black, blue or maroon base. The sneakers defiantly wont appeal to everybody out there but for those hardcore BBC pants the Building City Hi-Top sneakers are the perfect addition to the collection of products already released using the graphic.
The sneakers will officially become available at the The Ice Cream Store tomorrow on September 9th, 2009.
Lacoste Stealth Spring 2010 Collection Preview
Thanks to Hypebeast we have a look at a couple of the releases that Lacoste Stealth will be dropping as part of their Spring 2010 Collection. The lineup includes a few Lacoste Stealth models offering a selection of color schemes using various materials such as leather, suede, mesh and nubuck.
