Rogue Status ‘Alpha’

Mecca isnt the only company looking to capitalize on the footwear industry this holiday season. Streetwear brand Rogue Status, known mainly for their signature gun show print and controversial t-shirts is gearing up to release their very own sneaker known as the Alpha.
The Rogue Status Alpha will be available in high and low top designs which you can clearly see are mock-ups of the classic Chuck Taylors. One of the high tops and low tops will include the gun show print in white on a black base while the other two sneakers consist of a black upper with a white toe. The Rogue Status face logo is seen plastered onto the side of the black high tops with a Rogue Status tongue tag on all four.

Mecca ‘High Rider’

If you’ve been following along you know by now that Mecca released a new footwear collection in a bid to try and gain back some of the popularity they had years ago when they were running the streetwear industry with brands like Enyce and PNB Nation. We have already showed you two models which the company has released and now we are following up with a third.
Here we have what is known as the Mecca High Rider. The silhouette of the sneaker is pretty much the same as the other two we previously showed you, with a few differences here and there to set them apart from each other. For starters the paneling is laid out a little bit differently to make the sneakers appear different when in reality its really just the same. Then theres the addition of a strap across the lower section of the lace panel which has Mecca embossed across it. The Mecca ‘M’ logo appears on the tongue of the sneakers, as it does on the heel along with embossed print of Mecca USA.

MACKDADDY x FILA Mack Squad

In an attempt to make a comeback in the footwear industry FILA has released some classic retros such as Grant Hill 2, collaborated with a few streetwear brands such as Alife Rivington Club and released a whole lineup of sneaker sneakers. Looking to gain a little more attention FILA has now teamed up with MACKDADDY to released the FILA Mack Squad.
The MACKDADDY x FILA Mack Squad is shown here using a completely neon blue colorway with an upper constructed from mostly patent leather. Across the side of the upper towards the heel of the sneakers theres fur material which not only acts as lace eyelets but also makes out the letter M for MACKDADDY, or Mack Squad. To go along with the all blue upper is an all blue sole unit and a pair of laces to match.

Mecca Releases New Footwear Collection

Looking to capitalize off the footwear industry, Mecca, the company which since its start has only dealt with clothing, has reveled a brand new footwear collection. So far the company has released two silhouettes, the Mecca King and the Mecca Glide, both of which are obviously ripped designs and have very little differences between each other. The Mecca Glide is displayed on the left and is currently available in two colorways, purple and white, while the Mecca King is displayed on the right and currently available in white and black. Can everybody say Alife Everybody Mid Cross? Or just Alife Everybody in general. We can appreciate the fact new companies are looking to get into the footwear industry, as it could possibly bring new designs to the table, but when your giving us something we already have it sort of defeats the purpose.
Anyway, for those of you interested, click here to check out more pictures of both the Mecca King and the Mecca Glide in their available colorways and hit up DrJays now if you wanna get a pair.
