STPL x Airwalk – Payless Collection – Entire Lineup
By now many of you should be well aware of the STPL x Airwalk Payless Collection. The project between Jeff Staple and Airwalk has been designed to be sold exclusively through Payless retailers around the nation at an affordable price that the everyday Joe can afford. All in all there are five pairs designed for the guys and four pairs designed for the ladies. We originally thought four had been designed for the guys but we have learned that the Gambit has also been produced and is set to release after the inital release.
So far we have only caught a few previews here and there, besides for the detailed images of the STPL x Airwalk ‘Terrain’ we posted a few days ago, but that is all about to change. After the jump we have provided you with the first look at the entire STPL x Airwalk Collection.
Patta x Pro-Keds Royal Low/Hi – A Closer Look
The other day we presented you with some preview images and a video of the Patta x Pro-Keds Royal Low & Hi. We can now present you with a closer look at the two sneakers. Both of them are constructed from a 100% white pebbled leather upper with a gum sole unit. Both sneakers include white and tan shoelaces and will come in a leather grocery style bag. Stay tuned for further details regarding a release date.

PF Flyers ‘Astor’
If you havent noticed by now PF Flyers is on the verge of trying to make a comeback in the footwear industry and get their name in the limelight again. The company is one of the OGs when it comes to sneakers with a history that involves over 70 years in the industry.
Their latest release is a model known as the Astor. The Astor fuses fashion-forward thinking with classic sport lifestyle shoes. They are built on a minimalist couture court sole and the Astor boasts a fully ribbed upper and tongue with a leatherhook-and-loop closure.
Available now at PF Flyers retailers are three colorways of the Astor: grey/orange, bone/blue, and gold/black. You can order them online now at spots such as Zappos.com, pickyourshoes.com and piperlime.com.
STPL x Airwalk – Payless Collection – More Pictures
The other day we gave you an exclusive look at the STPL x Airwalk ‘Terrain’ part of the upcoming Payless Collection and now we can provide you with a couple more shots of the models being released in the lineup. Jeff Staple reports that the collection is set to release very soon and that some Payless retailers already have the sneakers on their shelves and ready to go. Jeff gives us a look at some of the styles designed for the STPL x Airwalk – Payless Collection including the Terrain we already showed you, The Gambit, the 50/50, the Heaven Slip-On and the Terrain in an Orange/Purple colorway which will be released for the ladies.
This still does not include a look at every style in the collection. We have previously reported the collection includes 4 designs for the men and 4 designs for the ladies. The images here show us all 4 of the releases for the guys, while only 1 of the ladies styles is shown. Lacoste Dot Fade Pack
Numerous footwear companies have all come up with their own gradient designs before, a few which have caused quite the chatter on the web. Lacoste put their own spin on a gradient design, however they used a dot pattern in for their gradient style. Consisting of the Lacoste Ibiza and Carnaby models the collection is known as the Dot Fade Pack. The lineup uses a pixelated upper in a fading/gradient design in colors such as yellow/pink, blue/green, white/pink and white/black.
In total there are there colorways of the Ibiza and three colorways of the Carnaby. Peep the pictures of each model after the jump thanks to SneakerFreaker.
Patta x Pro-Keds Royal Low/Hi Collection
I dont know but it looks like the team from Patta is trying to give the collaboration king Hikmet from Solebox a run for his money when it comes to the list of projects they have collaborated on. We just look a look at the Patta x Nike Sportswear Air Max 1 Sample and already we have some shots of another collabo from Patta, this time one which will actually be releasing.
The latest project consists of a collaboration with Pro-Keds on the Royal Low and Royal Hi. There fresh all white sneakers feature a premium pebbled leather upper matched with a natural gum sole. Patta in stitched across the tongue in tonal embroidery. Each pair will come in a white heavy duty grocery/milk bag which includes accents of tan leather to match the gum sole on the shoes.
An official release is set for this coming Saturday, July 25th at Patta, while other select retailers will see a release within the first week of August 2009. Via: Hypebeast
