Nike Air Yeezy – Black Laser Etched
Over the Labor Day weekend The Hundreds had their big block party called ‘The Payoff’. The event drove in people by the masses. Among the many faces seen at the event were artists GLC and Hollywood Holt. Not only was GLC and Hollywood Holt in attendance, but GLC was caught wearing a pair of Black Laser Etched Nike Air Yeezy sneakers. We keep seeing more and more colorways of the Air Yeezy but have yet to get any offical word on a release date. Unless plans have changed you can rest assure the Air Yeezy will indeed be released to the public, its just a matter of when we all wanna know. Via: The Hundreds
Nike SB Dunk High Shoe Goo – Now Available
The Nike SB Dunk High – Shoe Goo which we all got a preview of months ago is starting to hit Nike SB retailers now such as RMK Store. The Dunks offer an interesting design with a duct tape like print, crinkled patent leather and a drip design on the tongue inspired by the Shoe Goo packaging. Also included into the design was a translucent midsole. Hit up your local Nike SB retailer in-store or online to check on availability. You can also pick them up on ebay (click here). Nike SB Dunk Low – Gore-Tex
Months ago preview images of the Nike SB Dunk Low Gore-Tex were released and up until now we really werent given a detailed look at the sneakers. The sneakers look pretty fresh with the use of different shades of grey made up of a Gore-Tex upper front to back. Also included is an official Gore-Tex tag up towards the ankle. Nike Air Force One ‘Paris x Dunkle’ Customs
Mache created these Nike Air Force One custom sneakers for ISS member KVN. Mache had done a custom pair of Nike Dunks in the past with a design that included a combination inspired by the Dunkle Dunks and Paris Dunks. Seeing the design and quality Mache had put into the sneakers KVN was convinced he had to have is own pair, just on a pair of Air Force Ones instead. I am always amazed by the work of Mache, you can really sense the love and dedication put into every single pair he does. The designs and color fades are always spot on. Nike SB Dunk Low ‘De La Soul’ – 2009 Release
Towards the beginning of August the legendary hip-hop group De La Soul did an interview with Karmaloop TV where they revealed some info about another upcoming collaboration with Nike. At the time there were no pictures available of the project and due to the popularity of their previous project with Nike the fans were dying to see some shots of what they would look like. Nike SB reports that these metallic silver Nike SB Dunks were originally suppose to release in 2006. Since that never happened Nike SB and De La Soul will apparently release them sometime in 2009. The metallic silver SB Dunk is said to be designed after the album cover of AOI: Bionix which De La Soul released in 2001. On the front of the AOI: Bionix album cover the members of De La Soul are shown wearing metallic silver astronaut suits. At this time there is no official release date, nor is anybody all that sure that the design will not change before its official release so stay tuned to Sneaker Obsession for further updates as they are revealed. Ebay Find: Kaws x Nike 1World Air Force 1
The highly sought after Kaws x Nike 1World Air Force 1 is currently available on ebay through an auction put on by Bridgefootwear. I know a lot of folks were dying to get a pair of these, including myself, and was rather bummed when they heard it was a friends and family only release. Bridgefootwear, which is a very respectable shop, decided to offer a pair up for auction on EBay for all those sneaker collectors to slug it out for, err bid it out. Currently at the time of posting this the Kaws x Nike 1World Air Force 1 has 6 bids and is sitting at a $800. Check out the auction here.
