Nike SB ‘Brain Wreck’ Dunk High

Seeing as how we are pulling in on the release of the Nike SB ‘Brain Wreck’ Dunk High we are blessed with some updated images of the sneakers which are a collaboration between Nike SB and Todd Bratrud.

If you recall the photos of the Brain Wreck Nike SB Dunks that were floating around a couple months ago youll notice a few differences. The grey suede upper remains, however the white Nike Swoosh seen on the samples has been replaced with a tonal grey leather Swoosh. You may also remember how the toe-box on the samples was white. Well, its pink now, to match the pink tongue. The final difference is the outsole. It was pink on the samples and as you can see its now black. The Brain Wreck branding on the heel of the sneakers remains as seen in the samples.

An early release will go down October 9th at Familia Skate Shop with a further release following soon after.

Nike SB P-Rod 3 ‘Cinco De Mayo’

In this recently surfaced scan from the Nike SB 2010 catalog it would appear that Nike SB and Paul Rodriguez are looking to pay tribute to Paul’s Mexican heritage with a new version of the P-Rod 3. Seen to the left in this scan is a green suede P-Rod III accented with a white Nike Swoosh and white laces. The mid-sole which is also white sports accents of red which completes the color scheme used on the Mexican flag. If your not interested in the green suede P-Rod III theres also a matte silver/black color scheme shown to the right which appears to be slightly accented with a neon green.

No official release date has been announced but if this is indeed a Cinco De Mayo P-Rod 3 you can expect them to release around May. Theres no release details for the matte silver version either. Via: NSB

When it comes to the Nike SB P-Rod III we have already seen a few colorups released in stores, as well taken a look at a few previews of upcoming releases such as the LA Dodgers P-Rod III and Aqua Marine P-Rod III. Since Paul Rodriguez has always had succesful releases with Nike is about the most well known skateboarder on the Nike SB team you can defiantly expect brand new color schemes of the P-Rod III every month for a few months.

Expected to release next month in October is this grey/black version of the P-Rod III. The sneakers dont really appear grey to us but since thats what CtotheJL is reporting we’re gonna roll with it. Majority of the upper is finished in dark suede with a mix of white and black on the sole unit with hits of varsity red on the Nike Swoosh, lace eyelets and in the form of laces.

If your a Nike SB P-Rod III fan watch for these to hit select Nike SB retailers next month.

Later this month Michael Lau will be putting on the ‘Gardener Tenth’, a new exhibition which will kick off at De La Barracuda in Los Angeles, California. During the exhibit Michael Lau will showcase various limited edition toy figures made in collaboration with companies such as Slamxhype, The Hundreds and De La Barracuda.

On the final day of the exhibition Michael Lau will showcase his latest collaboration with Nike SB on Stefan Janoski. Michael is known to do a lot of work with wooden toys, tons of which will be on display at ‘Gardener Tenth’ therefore he decided to design the Nike SB Stefan Janoski using a wood grain pattern. The date 9-29-09, which is the date in which the exhibition starts is laser etched into the outer heel of the left sneaker while the outer heel of the right sneaker includes the use of some sort of logo. If you recall Michael Lau designed a pair of Nike SB Dunk Lows a few years ago using the same wood grain styling.

The sneakers will officially be released in extremely limited numbers on the last day of the ‘Gardener Tenth’ exhibition, October 3rd, 2009 only at De La Barracuda in Los Angeles. Follow the jump or click here now to get a closer look at the detailing of the sneakers. Via: Hypebeast

Nike SB Zoom Bruin – Orange Blaze/Black

nike-sb-zoom-bruin-orange-blazer-black

This Nike SB Zoom Bruin looks like it would make a perfect release for the Nike SB October 2009 Releases in time for Halloween with its orange blaze and black color scheme, but thats not the case here. The sneakers are actually set to release sometime during the Summer/Spring of 2010. Its hard to make out the exact details since the image is just a catalog scan but it would appear that the upper of this SB Zoom Bruin has a completely suede finish just like the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro in Obsidian/Team Red we showed you yesterday.

When further information and pictures surface we will be sure to keep you posted.
