Nike Blazer Mid ‘Mesh Pack’

As part of their Holiday 2009 Collection Nike has released the Mesh Pack consisting of three Nike Blazer Mids’s. Each of the Blazers, which come in red, pink and purple, feature tonal uppers with various materials used throughout. Some sort of mesh material is used on majority of the upper with leather on the toe and lace panels, and patent leather on the Nike Swoosh and heel tab. Mesh is used for the inner lining of the shoes as well, with a pure white vulcanized sole unit wrapping things up.

Not quite sure when, or if these will drop in the States but they are available now through select retailers across the pond such as Limited EDT.

Nike Blazer High Premium ‘Portland Trailblazers’

Towards the end of October Nike released the Blazer High Premium ‘NBA Pack’, a lineup of 6 suede Nike Blazers in color scheme inspired by a few select NBA teams such as the Detroit Pistons and Los Angeles Lakers. One of the other teams in the pack was the Portland Trailblazers whos color scheme is seen incorporated into this pair of Blazers. The entire upper sports black suede, including the Nike Swoosh, with an accent of sport red on the inner lining and vulcanized sole. If you don’t like the Trailblazers refer to them as the Bulls, what difference does it make really seeing as how the signature “bred” colorway is always refereed back to Jordan, Chicago and a pair of Jays which started it all.

The sneakers were released at limited retailers, however if your interested you can scoop a pair up now through Dunk.cn. More detailed photos can be found by clicking here.

Nike Blazer ‘C3PO’ Customs

For his first full on Blazer reconstruction sneaker customizer  emmanueLabor executed a theme which just so happens to relate to the whole Star Wars x adidas Originals Collection we’ve been previewing. This wasn’t done intentionally on emmanueLabor’s part but as it stands there could be no better time to present to you a look at the sneakers.

emmanueLabor looked to C3po from the Star Wars films to design the Blazers after using some pretty interesting design techniques which we have yet to see. The entire upper is finished in a gold foil material giving the sneakers plenty of shine with a matching suede liner. On the right sneaker, and only the right sneaker, the strip resting right above the midsole if finished in silver to resemble the movies in which C3PO had a silver right leg. You may be saying to yourself “whats the big deal, its just a simple gold foil sneaker with a silver strip on one, didn’t Supra do this a bazillion times?”. Which in that case you have a point. But as you should come to know, emmanueLabor is always innovating and grabbing our attention in subtle ways which make a major impact. In this case emmanueLabor does so by incorporating pieces of different colored wires into a translucent Nike Swoosh to resemble the inners of C3PO. What would C3PO be without wires and what would a Star Wars flick be without C3PO needing to get his wires reconfigured?

Could i wear these? No. I can’t rock any gold sneakers, it just doesn’t work for me. But as a collector, and somebody who can respect are and a theme which has been executed well i can defiantly appreciate what emmanueLabor did here. These are on the level of something you would see sitting on the store shelves for an official C3PO inspired release from Nike.

Nike Blazer Mid (GS) ‘Rubiks Cube’ @ Finishline

Earlier today the Nike Blazer Mid ‘Rubik’s Cube’ was mentioned during a conversation and it sort of sparked a little debate on whether or not the sneakers were ever actually released. According to what we reported at the time the Blazers, which were produced just for kids, was expected to hit retailers shortly after our post. However, a few of the people i was having lunch, the ones who sparked this conversation, the Rubiks Cube Blazer was never released.

Seeing as how we like to bust each others balls whenever we are able to prove one another wrong about something we not only wanted to personally rub it their face, but we also wanted to post it up here and let all our younger readers know, who may have also not be aware of the fact these sneakers were released, that you can now get them at Finishline in kids sizes 3.5 – 7. Retail price is $65 but if you use coupon code HOLIDAY1060 during checkout you can save yourself $10.

Nike Blazer High V Lux – Tier 0 Release

nike-blazer-high-v-lux-black

The whole “strapped” trend has defiantly reached it’s peak in todays fashion. We have come a long ways since the simple ankle straps and lace panel cover straps, and it seems like the thicker and more straps included on a sneaker the more some people tend to like them. One of the models which has been making plenty of use of straps lately is the Nike Blazer.

Seen here is a Nike Blazer High V Lux which uses a total of 5 straps, something we have seen on the Blazer in the past. However, what makes these differently is the fact they will be beyond extremely limited. We’re talking Tier 0 release limited. To see these off perfectly for a Tier 0 release Nike did the Blazers in an entirely blacked out colorway using the finest of materials available such as premium tumbled leather and aged black leather which has a “cracked” look to it. There is absolutely no secondary color included anywhere within the shoes leaving these as another nod to the “all black everything” look.

The expected release for this Tier 0 Nike Blazer High V Lux is set for December 1st. Via: Warped
