Custom New Balance 574 – Tsunami
In honor of the lives lost during the 2004 Indian Ocean Earthquake sneaker customizer Briezrs designed these custom New Balance 574 sneakers known as Tsunami. The sneakers include a red, white, black and grey colorway with ‘wave’ like graphics in black and grey around the toe and ankle. The nicely matched colorway and the subtle graphics make for an overall nice look for the New Balance 574 shoes and the fact its a dedication piece for a terrible situation which happened 4 years ago and took the lives of innocent people i gotta show my respect. Briezrs always does a nice job with his custom sneakers, the designs are always unique, such as his Pixelation Puma he did awhile back.

New Balance x DDCLAB – Reflective 420
Since majority of the Fall/Winter ‘08 releases are in stores its about that time we start getting a look at what will be released for the holiday season. New Balance will be re-releasing the 420 which is a vintage model from the 70s. Shown above is the Reflective 420 which NB designed in collaboration with with DDCLA, spearheaded by DDCLAB co-owners and recently-named NB Lifestyle Creative Directors, Savania Davies-Keiller and Roberto Crivello. The sneakers are constructed of a reflective fabric made by Schoeller Switzerland which incorporates a thin layer of tiny glass beads that cooperate with a reflective agent. The fabric is said to be scuff resistant, tear resistant, dirt and water repellent and pretty much made to withstand a beating.
The official release will go down during the grand opening of DDCLAB in SoHo on November 6th, 2008. Only 32 pairs will be sold and each one will come in a special-edition cloth bag that will be numbered for authenticity and signed by both of New Balances Creative Directors, Savania Davies-Keiller and Roberto Crivello. Retail price for these isnt cheap either, carrying a price tag of $498. Hit the jump for another look. Via: Freshness
Solebox x New Balance 1500 – Black / Grey / White / Gum / Aqua
This new New Balance / Solebox collabo features a black upper and grey lower, a white mid-sole and gum bottom sole. The sneakers also features some hints of aqua. No release date yet, but keep it locked for more info in the future. More pics after jump! Via Solebox
Atmos x New Balance 576 ‘Hologram’
Since its the 20th Anniversary of the New Balance 576 shoes we have been seeing a lot of different packs and collaborations drop this year and adding another one to their list of collabos with NB is Atmos. Atmos and New Balance present these 576 sneakers dubbed “Hologram” which are the newest creation between the 2 companies. The sneakers include a black patent leather upper which gives off a rainbow shine when the lights it, pink elephant/cement print on the heel panel, an orange midsole and a multi-colored rainbow insole. Expected release date is September 11th only at Atmos.
New Balance M574M HW ‘Hummer Concepts’
New Balance has created these new M574 shoe which are inspired by the Hummer SUVs. As far as how these are related to a Hummer im not really sure but the design and color scheme is pretty nice. The NB M574 features a combo of premium leather, patent leather and mesh along with a pixelated camouflage pattern in white and grey on the heel and tongue tag. Theres also a striped New Balance logo and red accents to finish up the design. A lot of people say the camouflage design is related to a Hummer but i just dont see it, unless we are talking about army issued Hummer H1 Alphas. As for an H2 or H3 though, no way. Expected release date for the New Balance M574M HW ‘Hummer Concepts’ will be in Steptember and will be released at Atmos. More detailed pics follow after the jump.
New Balance WRC576B
Heres something new for all you New Balance fans out there. The New Balance WRC576B shown above has been released in 3 colorways all of which use a darker lineup of colors. First you got the beige, brown and olive pair which is shown above and then theres a brown/black/red and sax/black/pink both of which are shown after the jump. Included into the designs of the NB WRC576B is the use of suede, leather and a furry material for the lining. These darker colorways make a nice design for the upcoming fall and winter season so if your a New Balance fan check out the shots of the other 2 colorways after the jump. Via: Atmos
