New Balance 575 ‘Pony Hair’
While Streething was at the recent New Balance Sample Showcase at Limited Edt Vault one of the many pairs which they caught some pictures of were these, the New Balance 575 Pony Hair.
The design on the NB 575 Pony Hair features an upper using a combo of white leather and white patent leather with light brown pony hair included onto certain panels throughout the upper. We have seen materials of such used in the past on sneakers, largely from Nike, and in my opinion some of them were just straight out obnoxious. The New Balance 575 shown here however i think gets it done nicely.
At this time there is no expected release date seeing as how they are just a pair of samples for now but if New Balance does follow through with the production on the sneakers they should be dropping when the Fall 2009 lineup hits the shelves.
New Balance MT580 – Gradient Gore-Tex
New Balance returns with the Gore-Tex design. Recently at a New Balance sample showcase in Singapore, at Limited Edt Vault, New Balance showed off two new MT580 models which had a very interesting design to them. Besides for the use of the Gore-Tex upper the New Balance MT580’s have a colorup which use a gradient design which goes from front to back. One of the colorways goes from fucshia to yellow while the other goes from white to black.
No official info is available just yet as far as a release date so we will be sure to keep you posted when further news becomes available. Via: Streething
Mita x Frat x New Balance MT576S
The newest collaboration between Mita and Frat and New Balance is sure to catch a lot of attention next month when they are released. Upon first glance this New Balance MT576S has an off white upper with a soft touch of lavender. However when the late night hours whole the appearance of the sneakers change as the whole off white upper is actually a glow-in-the-dark base. Throwing in a little bit of Frat branding in there the New Balance MT576S has a Shi-mei-nawa rope pattern and a bamboo rake design on the heel to represent Frats Ueno neighborhood. Theres also a pretty crazy skull design with some foral designs across the whole tongue.

Solebox x New Balance 1500 – Grey / Red
Earlier today Hikmet from Solebox posted this image of a what may just be the next Solebox x New Balance collaboration. The model of choice was the New Balance 1500, which is a model Solebox and New Balance have collaborated on in the past. This time around though the group at Solebox designed them in a grey/red/dark blue colorway using plush suede on the upper with a touch of white mesh on the toebox and tongue.
At this time its just a sample and not set for an official release just yet. Solebox is looking for you to hit them up with your comments about wheather or not you feel its good enough for a release or not, so make sure you check out their blog.
New Balance Spring 2009 Lineup @ Overkill
One of our favorite spots, Overkill, just got in a ton of New Balance sneakers part of the Spring 2009 Collection. Most of your popular New Balance models are included to make up a total of eight different color schemes. Seven of the eight designs use uppers made of suede white the 8th model is strictly leather.

New Balance – Fall 2009 Preview
New Balance was on hand at the Stocklist tradeshow in Canada to display a range of their Fall 2009 Lineup. As you can see from the sneakers lined up on the shelves New Balance will be releasing new colorways in various models, some which even include premium materials such as croc leather and plenty of suede. Keep an eye out for the New Balance Fall 2009 Collection to drop later this year.
