New Balance 790 Retro – Another Shot
The other day we mentioned that the New Balance 790 was going to be reissued next year in 2010 and presented you with a look at two of the upcoming colorways. We now have another shot of the upcoming New Balance 790 Retro, this time giving us a look at two additional colorways. Besides for the NY Knicks white/blue/orange color scheme, and the Boston Celtics white/green colorup, theres also a colorway in white/purple/yellow for the LA Lakers and white/black/red for the Atlanta Hawks.
We still dont have an exact release date at this time for the 790 Retros but they are expected to be releasing as part of the NB Spring 2010 Collection. Via: NiceKicks
New Balance 790 Retro – Spring 2010 Release
Next year come the Spring of 2010 New Balance will be re-issuing its once popular New Balance 790 model. This high top design was once popular during the 1980s when the sneakers were originally debuted and endorsed by a few players in the NBA. Shown here are two pairs of the 790 Retro which are reported to be releasing during the Spring of 2010. As you can see one of the models uses a white, blue and orange colorway while the pair set behind them sports a white and green colorway. They remind us of colorways resembling the NY Knicks and the Boston Celtics.

Overkill x New Balance ‘Berlin Wall’ Pack
Paying tribute to one of the most memorable and important moments in Germany history Berlin based shop Overkill has gotten together with New Balance to produce the ‘Berlin Wall’ Pack. The pack has been designed in honor of the 20th Anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall which is an event and changed the lives of millions. As of right now all we have is this preview pack but as it appears the pack will includes three New Balance sneakers with grey uppers accented with solid color frontals.
An release is set for sometime in November and more details about the sneakers will be coming soon so make sure you stay tuned for updates.
New Balance 420 Black / Lime
Almost 30 years after its initial release the New Balance 420 still remains to be a classic in the NB lineup. The 420 has a classic low-profile shape, a three-layer outsole and a ground-breaking shock-absorption system which many NB fans have praised. No matter if your a walker, runner or somebody just tryin to look fresh the NB 420 should defiantly be on your list of sneakers to have. The colorway shown here is definitely inspired by the 1980s roots of the 420 and uses a black and lime color scheme consisting of a mesh and suede upper. The minimal use of lime on the New Balance logo and on the heel tab seem to be just enough to make these sneakers pop.

UNDFTD x New Balance MT580 Preview
Eddie Cruz from UNDFTD has just posted a preview shot on his Twitter account of an upcoming collaboration between Undefeated and New Balance. The model of choice is the New Balance MT580 which we can see consists of a black nubuck upper with a white midsole and a gum outsole. Seen on the inner lining of the sneakers is some sort of purple design. Since only the back half of the shoes are shown it leads us to believe that quite possibly theres a little bit more going on with the front half then the back half which just uses black nubuck. Dont quote us on that just yet though.

New Balance 575 ‘Maple Madness’
Later this year New Balance will present use with the Maple Madness pack, a two pack consisting of the New Balance 575. Both of the sneakers feature a woodland print on the upper with pieces of black patent leather and accents of green or gold. The sole unit swaps the colors used on the upper with the yellow pair having green speckles and the green pair having yellow speckles. No official release date has been posted at this time but the New Balance 575 Maple Madness Pack is expected to drop in the coming months as part of the NB Fall 2009 Collection.
