New Balance x 686 ‘580′ Sneakers & Snowboard Boots

In a collaboration which will be releasing this year during the Holiday 2009 season New Balance has teamed up with 686 to design a line of the NB 580. The Collection consists of two colorways of the 580 as well as two colorups of a 580 Snowboard Boot which 686 helped design. To other understanding there were also some 420 models designed as well and some jackets, hats, sweatshirts and tees, but as of right now we just have shots of the 580s to show you.
One of the sneakers and snowboard boots come in white/grey/orange while the other sneakers and boots come in black/blue. All four of the designs have a speckled mid-sole as well as a subtle plaid pattern incorporated throughout the uppers. The New Balance ‘NB’ logo and the 686 logo are both embroidered on the toe of the sneakers. An added feature to the 580 snowboard boots are interchangeable BOA lace coilers.
Watch for the entire collection to hit select NB and 686 distributors later this year.
