UBIQ EL: Lazy x Darbotz collaboration

UBIQ EL Lazy Barbotz Custom Sneaker

Now heres a pair of custom sneakers which are a little different then the custom Dunks and AF1s you are use to seeing daily. This is a pair of UBIQ EL which are a tag team job by the infamous artists Lazy and Darbotz. What i love most about these are the fact that they are something different. Not that i dont like what i see on the market daily, but i do like a variety myself. The UBIQ eL is a shoe which doesnt end up in the custom market all that often and what Lazy and Darbotz did here makes this classy shoe even more classier, if thats possible. Darbotz worked on the graphics on the box and did the screen printing on the insoles, both of which i have to say amazes me. The detail in the two designs goes to show that Darbotz put a lot of time and effort into the two pieces and the final outcome is for sure something you can take a few minutes to appreciate. Lazy on the other hand worked on the design covering the strap of the shoe. It may not look like much at a glance but a closet view displays a very detailed design which is actually hand carved into the strap itself by Lazy. Lazy’s tag under the UBIQ label looks right at home too. They will be exclusively sold at Know It Nothing which is located in Singapore. Follow the jump for some more pictures.

The Hundreds Sneakers

We have only been in 2008 for a few days now but the deviant minds over at The Hundreds have been working on 2008 for awhile now. There are plenty of projects in the works which are due to drop this year from The Hundreds. One of the releases we will of course be looking forward to is the sneakers, or possibly boots, by The Hundreds. They have released a couple close up shots of the projects in the works and all we have here is a shot of the back of the sneaker. No word on when these will actually release, or any mention of colors or styles, but as always Sneaker Obsession will keep you covered.

Supra x Brooklyn Projects Skytop

Supra x Brooklyn Projects Skytop 1

Skateboard sneaker company Supra Footwear got together with skateshop Brooklyn Projects for their first ever collaboration sneaker. For a first run with a collabo i personally think Supra picked a great shop to work with on this one. Brooklyn Projects has been banging out a lot of hot products lately and this is just another one to add to the list. I hope Supra gets together with some more skateshops and skateboard professionals down the line to bring you more exclusives like these. The upper on these Supra x Brooklyn Projects Skytops are made of suede, faux zebra fur and blue patent leather. The outside heel of these also sport an embroidered “LA” on them. These Skytops are only being sold exclusively at Brooklyn Projects.
