Today, Saturday, January 16th, Jordan Brand released the latest hybrid model of the epic Air Jordan 1, the Air Jordan Alpha 1. The first of the three to release is the legendary “Bred” color scheme of black and university red. Mens sizes retail for $125, kids for $90, preschool for $60 and toddlers for $42. Air Jordan Retro 6 Black/Varsity Red Pre-Order @ Vault

The next major release from Jordan Brand which many Jordan heads are looking forward to is the Air Jordan Retro 6 in Black/Varsity Red. For a couple months now the sneakers have been selling through numerous resale sites and back in December we put together the January Heat Poster Giveaway in collaboration with our friends at OSneaker to honor the upcoming release. Although there are some differences between these and the original 6’s, such as the fact that the leather nubuck upper has been swapped for black suede and the infrared accents are now varsity red, there are still many people out there dying to get their hands on these sneakers. The translucent outsole even appears to be more “icey” then it was on the original Infrared Air Jordan 6’s.

Now that we’re getting closer to the official release of the Air Jordan Retro VI, which happens to be January 23rd, some shops are starting to take pre-orders for the sneakers. One such retailer is Vault in Harlem, NY, who also provided us with these photos giving us yet another look at the shoes, as well as a look at the perfect fitted to go along with the kicks, the Vault “V Money” New Era in black/red.

Hit up Vault now to see if they can still fill an order for your size, ask for John and tell em Joe from Sneaker Obsession referred you. If they dont have your size still available start contacting your local Jordan Brand distributors to see if they are accepting pre-orders for the shoes.

Although they are listed on the official Jordan Brand website as a February release the Air Jordan Flight 45 Light Graphite/White/Stealth is starting to make it’s way to Jordan Brand distributors now. The shoes feature a light graphite and stealth upper in a combination of patent leather and ballistic nylon mesh. Sitting below the white midsole is an icey clear translucent outsole. This was suppose to be 1 of 3 Jordan Flight 45 colorways releasing next month in February, the other two being a red/black version and a white/black version, but for whatever reason they have been shipped out a little early.

If your interested in picking up a pair of the Air Jordan Flight 45 in this Light Graphite/White/Stealth colorway you can get em now through Finishline in sizes up to 14 for $120.

Air Jordan 2 “Ice Blue”

Before i even say anything about these Air Jordans let me just say that there has got to be something wrong with the colors in the photos, or the press release. I am going by what is being reported by those who have the sneakers in their hands, however what is reported looks nothing like the sneakers, besides for in 1 picture.

OSneaker has just picked up this Air Jordan 2 being called “Ice Blue”. OSneaker reports “The upper is mostly ice blue with hints of black, the midsole is black and the sole is a light grey.” If you look at the pictures though, you would believe the sneakers have a white upper with accents of gold/brown. There is however one photo at the very end showing the sole where you can slightly see part of the upper and in that photo part of the upper does appear to have an Ice Blue hint to it.

It’s obviously going to be hard to make a call on the sneakers at this time, since you can’t really tell what color they could be due to the color error in the photos, however as soon as newer pictures surface we will be sure to provide you with a much better look at what is for now known as the Air Jordan 2 “Ice Blue”. Click here to check out the rest of the photos, including the one solo shot which shows the sneakers actually appearing to have an Ice Blue upper.

Edit: It’s been determined that there is obviously something wrong with the gamma and color settings on my monitors. I’ve tried 6 different computers, all with LCD monitors and the sneakers still appear white. As many of you have reported to me, you can clearly see the blue, which i can not. Sorry for the confusion due to my color errors. It’s either monitor problems or i’m starting to go color blind haha.

Air Jordan 1 Phat Low – White/Green/Gum

Mita Sneakers has just received shipment of a few new Air Jordans, including this Air Jordan 1 Phat Low. Jordan Brand sticks to a simple all white design on this AJ 1 Phat Low with an upper featuring a combination of smooth leather and perforated leather. A dark army green inner lining and laces slightly accent the white sneakers while a gum sole wraps up a clean looking pair of Jays. I’ve always been on the fence when it came to the Air Jordan 1 Phat Low, only liking a select few colorways here and there, but these I defiantly think i could get down with due to the simplicity. They would make for a nice pair of kicks to break out in the Spring.

Jordan Brand has not posted an official release date for the sneakers yet so we will be sure to keep you informed on any further details between now and then. In the mean time click here to take a closer look.

Air Jordan 4 “Silver Anniversary Edition”

Adding to our collection of detailed photos of the Air Jordan Silver Anniversary we now present you with a closer look at the Air Jordan IV (4) part of the collection. It may appear that the sneakers are an exact duplicate to the Air Jordan Retro 4 White/Chrome released in 2000, but there is actually a slight difference here, something which we think may will be pleased with. The sneaker do indeed use the exact same color scheme, however if you remember the Air Jordan Retro  had the mesh inserts swapped for perforated leather, a feature which had many people salty at the time. We got the mesh inserts back for another all white pair of Air Jordan 4’s in 2006, the Pure Money IV’s to be exact, however those were purely white and didn’t feature the chrome accents. For the Air Jordan Silver Anniversary of the Air Jordan 4 Jordan Brand has given us the best of both worlds, the white/chrome colorway WITH the mesh inserts. It’s a glorious thing for Air Jordan IV fans out there.
