Friday Night Match-Up: Fenally- Greatest Moment Ever

week-6.jpg

A few weeks ago I mentioned a little piece of gold from Risurch/ Fenally (currently only available on ebay. Websites under construction and coming soon). Well, it finally came in the mail and it is thoroughly beautiful, as is most of the artwork by both of the t-shirt companies. Last week we threw things off and started from the fitted down. This week we’re going from the tee out. The shirt features the defining moment of my childhood, Iverson’s killer cross on Jordan (Questions and Jordan 12’s and all). Along with it, the Laser 15’s and a Philly Flyers fitted make it into the perfect tribute to both the best pound for pound player and the best player in NBA history. Pics after the jump.

Jordan x Levis 23/501 Package- Jordan I’s and 501 Sneak Peek

levis-air-jordan-red-tab-1.jpg

Pictures have surfaced of the Jordan I’s from the 23/501 package that Jordan brand is putting together with Levi’s. I’m heavily disappointed, as I see that Jordan has decided to continue to push the long past over-done cement print. So, if this is a sign of anything to come, we could be seeing one ugly pair of jeans. But, to each his own. I’ve already heard plenty people putting these down as a must cop. Jordan Pop Herring New Colorway Second Look

Pop Herring Jordans 2

Due to the Charlotte Bobcats’ struggles in the last 12 games, Michael Jordan stepped onto the court at practice in some drills to impart some of his knowledge to the team. This will hopefully be a morale booster. What he has on his feet, may also be a sales booster. Jordan is sporting what appears to be the Jordan Pop Herrings in a New Colorway with orange leather. There is no word on whether this colorway will be scheduled to release, but from the picture it definately looks like a cleaner, more appealing shoe than the original Pop Herrings we showed you last week.

Jordan “Pop Herring” Samples

Next June, Jordan Brand will drop a new shoe titled the Pop Herrings. The shoe was modeled to comemmorate Jordan’s high school basketball coach, Pop Herring. The shoe looks like they pieced together the new Nike Zoom BB’s and a pair of Blazers to me. Not a terrible look for JB’s venture into the future of non-signature line shoes, but not a great look either. More pics after the jump.

Pics of IX/XIV Countdown Pack

This pack has brought lots of differing opinions due to it introducing a new, non-OG colorway on the XIV’s. JB also added in metallic speckles to the nubuck portion of the IX’s. While some say that the pack strayed to far from the originals of both shoes to be a must cop, I think that this is the best job Jordan Brand has done on creating a non-OG colorway in the last few years asside from the Cool Grey 3’s. I’m still undecided on my opinion of the metallic speckles on the nubuck though. Discuss your opinions on the packs in our forums or feel free to leave comments.
