Jordan XX3 Fusion Custom Sneakers

These custom sneakers by Adric Kennedy of AK Kustoms are simply crack. Im not a fan of the Jordan Fusion Series at all but these sneakers on the other hand are a whole different story. Starting with a Nike Air Force One base Adric created his own Jordan Fusion Series sneaker with a XX3 twist. I dont even know what to say about these. From the glossy paint to match the XX3 to the signature on the front, theres just so much detail here that words cant do these sneakers any justice. Take a moment of silence and just look at the pics. Check out Adrics Myspace page here as well.
Jordan Sneaker Family Tree

Now this is a cool piece of sneaker art. This piece was created by I Love Dust, a UK based company who also happened to design the artwork on the Jordan x Levis 501 collaboration. Just like the artwork on the sneaker box this design is very cool and would be a great piece for a true Jordan sneaker head. The tree design shows every Jordan starting from the very first pair up to the new 23’s. Every Jordan sneaker has the year it came out listed under it, followed by the number. The print is available in limited numbers, printed gold and comes printed on fine tissue paper. Check out the Jordan x Levis 501 box artwork after the jump. Check out the I Love Dust website to see more of their graphic designs.
Friday Night Match-Up: Dunks N’ Jordans

Even though currently all the buzz is centered around the release of the Stealth Jordan XX3’s, this is still the month of love. On sneakerplay I saw a “You Know You’re A Sneakerhead If….” post, and one of the points really hit home for me. The bullet read, “You know you’re a sneakerhead if you think a girl looks good if she has on a pair of Jordans… before you even look at her face.” Sadly, it’s somewhat true. So tonight we pay homage to two of the sexiest sneakers a woman can wear, Dunks N’ Jordans.

Friday Night Match-Up: For The Ladies

In honor of Valentine’s day (let’s admit it, Valentine’s is much more of a ladies’ holiday than a men’s) the month of February will feature women’s match-ups. Today, we’ll bring back some recent women’s retros that surprisingly didn’t go over as well as one might’ve thought they would: the black/ pink Jordan 8 lows. Couple them with a Married to the Mob Jacket and some snake print skinny jeans by Tripp NYC (even found a sweet New Era “Kiss Me” Fitted for women) and basically, you’ve got a girl I’m gonna try to holla at if I see her in the mall. Enjoy.
Air Jordan XVII Black/Silver Countdown pack

Here you have the Air Jordan 17 last released in 2002. Releasing with the Air Jordan 6 Carmines, the Black/Silver Air Jordan will release in the Countdown Pack.
This XVII has inspiration from Jazz Music, if you look closely you can see Music notes on the side. With Black/Sliver as the Color-way and a suede toe box this is one clean shoe if you ask me. I have to admit I wasn’t a real big fan of the 17’s myself, but now seeing them makes me want to buy the pack even more. JB has really delivered with this package. Also releasing with Carmines which is a lot of peoples grails, this is one of the most anticipating Countdown packages. Retail is $310 and will be releasing in May 2008.

Return Of The Carmines
I will admit, VI’s were actually never really one of my grails. Jordan heads will probably call for my execution now. Despite my previous unappreciation of the shoes, the retroing of the Carmines has truly peaked my interest. Although the midsole looks to be about the same quality as we’ve come (sadly) to expect from JB, with similar worksmanship to the retro VIII’s, the shoe does pretty well to follow the blueprint of the originals. Many people will be extremely excited about this release, as there are virtually no wearable pairs of Carmines left. The shoes will release along with the 17’s in a pack in June. Can you say sickness?
