Jordan Brand
Air Jordan Alpha 1 White/Black-University Blue

It’s only been a short time since previews of the Air Jordan Alpha 1 appeared online and models started releasing in stores, the last being the Tinker Hatfield Edition which Nike’s Vice President of Innovation Design draped up, and we have already seen quite the selection of color schemes expected to drop throughout the year. It’s as if every couple of days a new Air Jordan Alpha 1 surfaces, whether it be a PE model or an upcoming release set for the general public. As you know this can be good and bad. While many appreciate the large selection of color variations there’s also a great deal of people who hate how certain models are produced in “to many colorways.” Take for example the Air Jordan 1. While it may be one of Jordan’s most famous sneakers there’s a vast amount of people who hate seeing a classic as such being produced in an endless amount of colorways, most of which in their opinions “are horrible and ruin a classic sneaker”.
Wherever you stand on this doesn’t really matter cause regardless of what you and I think Jordan Brand is gonna do what they do best and slaughter us with colorway after colorway after colorway. While there are bound to be a few which turn our stomachs there’s sure to be a ton which turn out to be pretty dope. Take for example this White/Black-University Blue version of the Air Jordan Alpha 1.
If you can dig it watch for the shoes to hit Jordan Brand retailers later this month on March 15th, 2010 for a retail price of $125. Click here to view additional photos of the sneakers provided by Japanese retailer Sneak.
Air Jordan Alpha 1 “NY Knicks/Jared Jeffries PE” @ OSneaker

Had he not just been traded this Air Jordan Alpha 1 would of made the perfect on-court sneaker for a night under the lights at the world’s most famous arena. However they’ll just be one of the many PE’s Jarred Jeffries has in Knicks color’s that’ll just sit in his closet now that’s he’s been traded to the Sacramento Kings. A combo of Knicks Blue and White leather is used through out the upper with hits of Orange on the Swoosh, Jordan Wings logo, Jumpman logos on the tongue and heel, and on the laces. It isn’t clear just how many pairs of these sneakers have been produced but we do know they are on the limited size and have so far only been available at handful of distributors overseas. OSneaker however happens to have the Air Jordan Alpha 1 “NY Knicks” in stock in sizes 8-13 for $200 are they are reporting that they’re limited to 72 pairs so if you want a pair hit up now to get yours.

Release Reminder: Air Jordan II (2) Retro “Silver Anniversary”

In just a few hours the time will come for Jordan Brand’s next 25th Anniversary model to hit retailers, the Air Jordan 2 “Silver Anniversary”. We’ve seen previews of the sneakers over and over again, and we’re sure some of you even went ahead and scooped a pair up early, but for all those who didn’t you’ll be able to get yourself a pair at midnight. As you should know already White and Metallic Silver is the color scheme used through the entire 25th Anniversary Collection with the AJ2 having a predominately white leather base accented by Natural Grey and Metallic Silver 3M material.
Watch for em to release through Finishline exactly at Midnight (EST).
Jordan CP3.III – Wake Forest Home & Away PEs

Paying tribute to Wake Forest University, the college in which Chris Paul attended for two years before entering the NBA Draft in 2005, Jordan Brand work up Home and Away PE’s of Paul’s latest signature model, the CP3.III. The two pack uses a combination of Black/White/Gold to match the signature colorway of the Demon Deacons, with one featuring a predominantly Black base to match the home jerseys and the other sporting a predominantly White base to coordinate with the away jerseys. If you don’t think the colorway brings forth the Wake Forest theme there’s always the WF embroidery on the tongue to do the trick.
It hasn’t been made clear at this time whether or not the sneakers will become a House of Hoops exclusive, or if they’ll just be exclusive PE for the young Demon Deacon athletes. When further details are provided we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop. Via: Jumpman23
Air Jordan March 2010 Releases

With only 28 days in February it makes for a rather short month. After this weekend we’ll be starting a fresh work week on March 1st. With less then a week until that point could there be a better time to preview the Air Jordan March 2010 Releases? We didn’t think so.
At this time we are aware of 10 confirmed releases from Jordan Brand for the month of March. Three of them being the Silver Anniversary Editions of the Air Jordan 3, 4, and 9, none of which have been confirmed for exact dates yet. The Aqua Air Jordan Fusion VIII will also be releasing as will the Air Jordan 6 Rings “Motorsports”. There will also be two new CP3.III colorways, a Black/Red Melo M6, a Jordan Classic 91, a Jordan All Day amd two Jordan Team Elite II Low’s. The Black/Varsity Red Jordan Icons are also marked for a March release but as we revealed earlier their available now at Finishline.

Jordan Icons – Black/White/Varsity Red @ Finishline

It’s not often the hybrid designs from Jordan Brand get praised among the sneaker community. Majority of us have a lot of love for the classics and hate to see them being used in fusions, hybrid and crossover models. The same can’t really be said though for the Jordan Icons, a new hybrid model which is actually getting a little bit of acceptance from the consumers.
While trying to maintain a somewhat unique look the Jordan Icons still clearly draws noticeable influence from the Air Jordan XX and the Air Jordan XX3. The upper and tongue feature stitching similar to that used on the XX3 while the midsole and the outsole construction is similar to that on the XX’s. Built into the sole unit and providing superior comfort and cushioning is a I.P.S. system, which stands for Independent Podular Suspension. They even include the newly designed 23/25 logo which has started appearing on some of Jordan Brand’s releases this year to mark their 25th Anniversary.
To debut the Jordan Icons two colorways have been released to the public, one of which is the classic Bred colorway shown here in Black/White/Varsity Red. You know Jordan Brand can’t resist using that signature color scheme of theirs.
For those who are interested in picking up a pair of the Jordan Icons you can get em now through Finishline for $125.
