Air Jordan 25th Anniversary T-Shirts

One of the biggest advantages to Jordan Brand coming about in 1997 was the fact it allowed Michael Jordan to build an empire around much more then just sneakers. Athletic apparel and sporting accessories were all eventually introduced under the Jordan Brand umbrella, as were articles of clothing such as hoodies, jackets and hats.

As many company’s do these days, the Brand started producing specially designed t-shirts to accompany certain releases, giving those who bought the sneakers the option of scooping up the perfect tee to match. With 25years of Air Jordan history and Jordan Brand being extremely excited about their 25th Anniversary Collection, they’ve put together a lineup of t-shirts to match the shoes in the lineup.

We aren’t quite sure if the t-shirts will be US bound, although we hope so, but we do know they’ll become available on March 20th at Nike Harajuku. Don’t hold out on us JB, the Air Jordan heads in the States need these!

Air Jordan 1 Phat “Marine Blue”

Signature Air Jordan colorways are arguably some of the safest color schemes for Jordan Brand to go with, considering they’ve proven time after time to be top sellers on a handful of models. That’s not to say though that the new colorups Jordan Brand whips up aren’t something to talk about. Take for example this Air Jordan 1 Phat “Marine Blue”. While I’m not the biggest fan on the choice of materials, a mesh with some sort of material (plastic?) laid over certain sections, but the color option is pretty dope in my option and would go real nice with the right fit. A white Swoosh may have been nice to go along with the white mid-sole, along with a little leather and not some much mesh, but it is what it is.

The sneakers are available on eBay and at select Jordan Brand retailers in men’s sizes and as a limited release. Additional photos follow after the jump thanks to TSG.

Air Jordan 13 Retro “Flint Grey” – Holiday 2010 Release

Yesterday when we announced that the Air Jordan 13 Retro White/True Red was expected to be part of Jordan Brand’s Holiday 2010 Releases many of you were ecstatic about the news. That leads us to believe a lot of you will be just as happy, if not more happier with this.

According to rumors and style numbers provided for JB’s Holiday 2010 release the Air Jordan 13 Retro – White/True Red won’t be the only XIII hitting retailers. It’s also suspected that the Flint Grey’s will be released as a retro, possibly in December. The Flint Grey’s happen to be my favorite of the 13’s and luckily I was able to get a pair of the retros in my current size back in 2005, the last time they were released. I’m hoping I can do the same this year since my current ones are beat to hell since they get a lot of usage. I’d also like to scoop a pair of the White/True Red’s since those haven’t been released since they first hit the market back in ‘98. Needless to say I don’t fit in the OG’s anymore. Could this be a possible pack coming our way? If so it’d be the first and only pack from Jordan Brand thus far which I’d cop.

Stay tuned for further details.

Air Jordan 2010 – Black/Flint Grey–Varsity Red

As the Air Jordan 2010 continues to surface in a variety of colorways it appears that more and more people are starting to take a liking to the sneakers. Some still can’t get over the translucent window on the side of the upper, stating you feel it ruins the entire sneaker no matter what colorway they come in and no matter how they may perform as a basketball sneaker. Understandable. The shoe defiantly doesn’t work for everybody, as no single shoe really does, but I gotta be honest, I think they’re starting to grow on me and I originally hated the shoes until I was able to see them in person and try em on.

Just like any Air Jordan, you can expect the Air Jordan 2010 to eventually be released in enough colorways to fill your closet, a lot of which will use colors that can be found incorporated into a slew of Jordans. Flint Grey is one of those very colors and it just so happens to be worked into this Black/Flint Grey-Varsity Red Air Jordan 2010. The upper features a combo of perforated leather in Flint Grey and nubuck in Black, with clear panels along the toe and heel. The pictures aren’t the greatest but it appears the mid-sole uses Flint Grey as well with a translucent outsole displaying a slab of Varsity Red beneath it.

No official release details are available at this time but from what we’ve seen in Jordan Brand’s catalog the sneakers are expected to hit retailers in June. When we know more you’ll know more, until then click here to check out the photos. Via: taobao

Air Jordan 13 Retro – White/Black/True Red – Holiday 2010 Release

My day just got a whole lot better. According to rumors and the list of Jordan Brand’s Holiday 2010 Releases the Air Jordan 13 is scheduled to release later this year in the classic White/Black-True Red color scheme.

Ever since these sneakers released in January of 1998 they’ve remained as one of my all-time favorite Jordans. Some of you may even recall me mentioning this on Twitter from time to time, and remember the pictures I’ve posted of me rocking the Flint Grey’s on almost a daily basis.

We can’t be exact just yet but it’s believed that the Air Jordan 13 Retro will be one of Jordan Brand’s big December releases. Each year they give us a little something around the Christmas season which turns out to be one of the most anticipated releases of the year and rumors are floating high that this will be one of those exact releases this year, with the Air Jordan 11 “Cool Grey” being the other big December release for the brand.

When further details can be confirmed we’ll be sure to let you know.

Air Jordan Alpha 1 – White/Black-Varsity Red

It’s not easy to follow in the footsteps of the worlds most iconic basketball sneaker but the Air Jordan Alpha 1 has sure been doing a pretty good job at it. As a revamped model of the OG Air Jordan 1, the Air Jordan Alpha 1 carries the same silhouette as the original with the addition of performance-ready features such as a full length Zoom Air bag and perforated leather. Just like it’s big bro the Alpha 1 will launch in a number of colorways providing you with an lineup that’ll match with pretty much any outfit you throw together.

Following up on the Air Jordan Alpha 1 in White/Black-Varsity Red we showed you a few days ago we now bring you a look at another Alpha 1 using the same three colors in a totally different combination. The shoes start off with a White leather base and feature heavy usage of Black on the lining, mid-sole and patent leather Swoosh. A slight touch of Varsity Red is then added to the Jordan Wings logo and to the Jumpman logos on the tongue and heel.

No official release date is available at this time but we do suspect them to arrive at US distributors sometime between April and May. If you can’t wait until then Dunk.cn has a few sizes in stock and ready to ship to those who are eligible. Stay tuned for further details and click here to take another look at the shoes.
