JB Classics Peddler ‘Sick Wit-It’ – Spring 2009
JB Classics always has some interesting designs using various materials and patterns not normally used when it comes to sneakers. I guess you can say thats what makes their brand unique and their sneakers truly unlike anything else. During the Spring of 2009 JB Classics plans to release a new design of the Peddler model which dubs itself “Sick Wit-It”.
The ‘Sick Wit-It’ JB Classic Peddler is designed using a black leather hand-woven pattern on the midpanel and around the ankle with clean black leather making up the rest of the upper with white stitching. Along the back of the heel in bold gold text it says ‘Sick’ on the left heel with “Wit-It” on the right heel. A flag of the King of spades is displayed next to ‘Sick’. There is also gold JB Classics branding through the sneakers on the tongue, lace locks and keychain tag.
As with all the JB Classics releases these will come in the signature slideout box with a certificate of authenticity, extra laces and a few other goodies. Expected release towards the beginning of Spring ‘09, stay tuned for updates.
JB Classics x Ride Snowboards – Peddler Mid
JB Classics, in collaboration with Ride Snowboards, have designed a new pair of Peddler Mid sneakers in a bright red and maroon colorway. The Peddler Mid is designed with quilted panels on the side and around the ankle with embossed arrows on the heel/wing panel. On the tongue tag you have the JB Classics logo along with the Ride Snowboards logo. The mid-sole of course has a splatter design in red which many of us have become use to on the JB Classics shoes. JB Classics Prime Label – Fall / Winter 08′
Jason from JB Classics recently hit me up VIA Email with a little info and some pictures of whats to come from the JB Classics Prime Label for the wall/winter 08′ collection. The range is comprised of the JB Classics Getlo Mid’s and Sub-40 models in a variety of color combinations and material make-ups. Some of the models to be released are the BOA’S with a sublimation snake skin Drytex breathable lining, The FADED’S which have a tonal oversize graphic Dot print with translucent outsole bottoms & bone artwork. There are also the REFLEX’S with subtle black and green color accents juxtaposed to a 3M reflective toe cap and the JAILBIRD’S which have a black & white striped bias pattern on full grain distressed leathers. After the jump you can find some more detailed pictures of the sneakers as well as a shot of each individual model. All of the JB Classics Prime Label sneakers for the fall/winter 08′ collection will be hitting JB Classics retailers within the next few weeks.
JB Classics Getlo Mid “Wonder Years” – Fall 08′ Preview
JB Classics hits us with a new preview of an upcoming model which is part of the Fall 08′ Prime Collection. This is called the “Wonder Years” to my understanding. I recieved the pictures in an email and everything was in another language, so i tried to put bits and pieces together that i could understand. As you can see the sneaker comes in dark shades of green with random years speared around around the upper. As to what these numbers stand for, i couldnt tell you. Seeing how JB Classics started in 2002 it couldnt possibly be the years the company has been established. Maybe its just the years owner Jason Bass has been alive. For now your just gonna have to take a guess until we get some more info about these. Stay tuned to Sneaker Obsession for more details when they arise.
JB Classics Sub-40 Wimbley
The new Sub-40 Wimbley sneakers by JB Classics include the use of two different leather materials. Majority of the sneaker is full-grain perforated leather, while the lace panels and heels theres tumble leather The sneaker comes in a white, red and purple colorway which includes the JB Classics logo on the tongue and a gold laser etched owl design on the back side. If you own a pair of JB Classics then your familiar with all that jazz which is included. These are no different then the other sneakers. You get the cinch bag, extra laces and a certificate of ownership too. These sneakers are part of the JB Classics spring collection which means they should hit distributors soon.
Friday Night Match-Up: Classic
Earlier today, I posted up a couple articles about my favorite fitteds. As soon as I posted them, I began the hunt for something to rock with the fitted. Now, normally I go from foot to head, but today I’ll make an exception.
