Greedy Genius x FinishLine – March 2009 Releases
Greedy Genius and FinishLine have been working together to design a couple new models part of the Greedy Genius ‘Special Make-Up Program’. Under the Special Make-Up Program Greedy Genius works directly with retailers, such as FinishLine, allowing the distributors to pretty much design their own colorways or sneakers under the Greedy Genius name to be sold exclusively in their retail shops.
In total Greedy Genius and FinishLine put together 5 different models. So far we have a look at three of the models which will be released. In the picture above we see a new Greedy Genius Apache color scheme dubbed “Court Classic”. To its left is the Skate Lo dubbed “Midike”. Theres also the Cool Breeze “NOIR” in new colorways pictured after the jump.
Watch for all three of these Greedy Genius sneakers, and two other designs yet to be seen, released exclusively at FinishLine started the first week in March. Follow the jump for over 15 more pictures.
Greedy Genius 2009 Sneak Peek
Along with the launch of the new Greedy Genius website the company offers a sneak peek at what to expect in 2009 from them. You can expect a lineup of releases from Greedy Genius including some of the originals in new colorways and newly designed models set to make their debut. For now we are only given a little taste of whats to come so make sure you stay tuned for further updates and info on releases.

Greedy Genius ‘Apache Onyx’ Available Now
The long awaited release of the Greedy Genius ‘Apache Onyx’ has finally come to an end. The colorful sneakers inspired by the design of the Air Jordan V Low has officially popped up at numerous Greedy Genius retailers as of recently.
The Apache Onyx by Greedy Genius uses an assortment of colors on the upper such as black, grey, yellow, red and purple. Various premium materials are used throughout the design of the upper including nubuck, patent leather, premium leather and even a touch of 3M material.

Greedy Genius x Lupe Fiasco – Paratrooper
Exclusively available at select Greedy Genius are these new Paratrooper sneakers which were designed in collaboration with Lupe Fiasco. These sneakers feature reptile-pattern leather, both green and black laces, and a woven leather toebox and tongue. Theres also the usual Greedy Genius lacelocks. The Greedy Genius x Lupe Fiasco – Paratooper is a limited edition run and can only be found at select higher end Greedy Genius retailers such as Leaders1354 and Motivation. Greedy Genius x Bun-B Vader – Available Now
Last month we gave you a look at the Greedy Genius x Bun-B – Cool Breeze Vader designed by hip-hop artist Bun-B and now we would like to report that the sneakers are now available at Dr. Jays. The sneakers consist of a black patent leather up, perforated material around the collar and silver accents. Included with the sneakers is a ‘R.I.P. Pimp C’ keychain. Bun-B and Pimp C fans are gonna be all over these. Get them now at Dr. Jays for a price of $135 before you miss out. More shots after the jump.
Bun B x Greedy Genius – Cool Breeze Vador Hi
Soon to be released at Greedy Genius retailers is a new pair of Cool Breeze Vador Hi’s which were designed in collaboration with hip hop artist Bun B. The sneakers consists of a black patent leather design with gray accents on all throughout the sneakers. Showing some respect for his close friend, Pimp C, legendary artist who passed away not all that long ago, a metal keychain was including that displays “RIP Pimp C” with the Greedy Genius crown over the C. No official date has been released as to when exactly retailers will get stock, we just keep hearing “soon” so hit up the Greedy Genius retailers for more info.
