Greedy Genius Oceanrunner – Release Information
Its been quite a few months since we caught our very first preview of the Greedy Genius Oceanrunner. Since then consent previews hit the web over the months showing the Oceanrunner in various colors and different materials. No release date had ever been confirmed. Until now.
The long awaited Greedy Genius Oceanrunner will be releasing on November 27th, 2009, otherwise known as Black Friday. To debut the release of the Oceanrunner Greedy Genius will be dropping 6 different versions. There will be the Boardwalk in blue leather, the Aurburn in premium brown oiled leather, the El Jeffe in black nubuck, the Ruckus in wheat nubuck, the Artillery in gunmetal nylon and lastly the Gunnery in black nylon.
Once again, the Greedy Genius Oceanrunner will release on November, 27th, 2009. The shoes will be a web exclusive and only be released through the Greedy Genius online store. Click here to check out a solo shot of each model.
Greedy Genius Ocean Runner ‘Big Blue’
Although they have yet to be released the Greedy Genius Ocean Runner is causing quite the commotion. A lot of people are dying to get their hands on a pair but sadly majority of us have to wait, that is unless you have some pull. Greedy Genius currently has a small quantity of samples of the Big Blue Ocean Runner which is displayed above which are being sent to a special group of tastemakers around the globe. Jamie Foxx is the most recent recipient of a pair.
The Greedy Genius Ocean Runner ‘Big Blue’ consists of an all steel blue nubuck upper with full grain leather piping, a nylon infused padded tongue and padded reinforced back heel support. The official release date for the Big Blue Ocean Runner or any other version of the Ocean Runner has been announced at this time but Greedy Genius states they will be hitting retailers sometime around the fall/holiday season.

Greedy Genius Ocean Runner – Fall 2009 Preview
Greedy Genius presents us with a preview of the upcoming colorways of their brand new model known as the Ocean Runner. So far we have caught a preview at about 2-3 of colorways of the Greedy Genius Ocean Runner but now we have a broader look at the lineup of colorups which will be releasing as part of the Fall 2009 season. In total there are six colors; brown, navy blue suede, black leather, navy blue leather, red leather, and lastly another black version in nubuck.
This is only a small preview of things to come from Greedy Genius and the Ocean Runner model stay tuned for further details and previews of upcoming colorways.
Greedy Genius Apache ‘Blocks’
Greedy Genius has just added a brand new Apache model to their online shop as part of their Spring/Summer 2009 PRVLG Collection. What is known as the Greedy Genius Apache ‘Blocks’ features a medley of colors and materials such as blue nubuck, green patent leather, red perforated patent leather and mesh, yellow 3M reflective material along with gray and black detailing throughout. A clear get outsole and a black leather lining finish up the Apache ‘Blocks’.

Greedy Genius Ocean Runner – White / Gum
We have a feeling the Greedy Genius Ocean Runner is gonna be a very popular release once its debut official rolls around to distributors. The latest Ocean Runner to be spotted is this all white version being held by Popsicle Pete in his ice cream truck. To go along with the all white upper a gum sole unit has been added which accents the sneakers very nicely. No official release date for the White Greedy Genius Ocean Runner has been announced but we will be sure to keep you posted.
Yone x Greedy Genius Cool Breeze
Looking to create some interesting collaborations with companies and artists who you hardly see involved in collabos Greedy Genius reaches out to the famous Japanese photographer Yone (Yasumasa Yonehara).
Yone and Greedy Genius decided on designing a new pair of the Cool Breeze, the signature model from Greedy Genius. The shoes feature a combo of suede, perforated leather and patent leather on the upper in red and blue. Some of Yone’s photography has been worked into the panels and there appears to be a few keychain tags included as well.
An official release date for the Yone x Greedy Genius Cool Breeze is unavailable at this time so stay tuned for details and more pictures as the release nears. Via: Hypebeast
