We are running our first contest here at Sneaker Obsession, Sneakerheads Become Fitted. Our good friends over at Become Fitted, the premier online fitted cap boutique, will give away a fitted of the winners choice on the house. True Sneakerheads know what the right fitted cap will do for a new pair of kicks. It can take ‘em to the next level, but you gotta do it right. You can have the illest pair of kicks on, but if your rockin a wack fitted, you look like a chump. So show us the goods!! The contest is easy to enter and just about anybody has a chance of winning. Mos Def Performance at Pipeline Honolulu
For all you guys out in Hawaii you have a nice little event coming tomorrow. November 11th at the Pipeline Cafe the infamous Mos Def will be performing live. This event is sponsored by Dig Lifestyles, ANKH Marketing and Kings Assembly. Doors open at 9pm and its 18 and over so make sure you got your ID at the door. Tickets will be available at the door but this event will sell out so early arrival is suggested. During the Mos Def performance there will a live taping going on for the first ever Mos Def Live In Concert DVD coming out sometime in the future. This is going to a be a hot performance so if your from Hawaii make sure you stop by the Pipeline tomorrow night, November 11th. Remember, dress to impress.
Soled Out NYC 4 Sneaker Event
Soled Out NYC returns to Soho for the biggest sneaker trade show in NY. The event all goes down on Nov 17th between 12 and 7pm. There will be over 30 vendors on site displaying/selling some of the hottest sneakers available along with some fresh gear. Make sure your pockets are stacked when you attend and try not to leave any drool stains on what you might see. There is a $10 cover at the door, this also allows you to bring up to 3 pairs of sneakers to sell or trade. Dont miss out on Soled Out NYC 4 as this event is sure to be bigger and badder then last years event. There will also be sneaker raffles and live performances so if you got nothing else to do end on down to 210 Elizabeth Street.
Sneaker Pimps in Philadelphia at Trocadero Theatre
Trocadero Theatre is set to host the Sneaker Pimps event October 6th. This is another stop on the Sneaker Pimps 2007 USA Tour. Performing at this event you got CNN Capone & Noreaga, along with Nouveau Riche and a list of DJ’s ready to keep the music going. Nocturnal will also be there to put on a live skate demo. As usual its 18+ to enter and doors open at 8pm. Purchase your tickets early to save yourself a few bucks before you hit the door. Sneaker Pimps in NYC at Roseland Ballroom
Sneaker Pimps makes it stop in NYC during their 2007 USA Tour. The event will go down October 12th which happens to be a friday at Roseland Ballroom. $30 at the door and $25 if you get tickets early. This is sure to be a great show with performances by Nas and EPMD. You must be 18+ to enter and doors open at 8pm. 5boronyc will also be in hand to give you a live skate demo. New Era Limited Edition Gym Class Heroes Fitted Hat
Gym Class Heroes fan’s here’s your chance to get yourself a limited edition New Era Gym Class Heroes hat, as well as a chance to meet the group in the flesh. That’s right, Gym Class Heroes will be at the New Era Flagship store in NYC on October 5th from 5:30pm till around 7:30pm. Dont delay and get there at 5:30 cause chances are there will be a line a block long. If you got the time head over there early. Start thinking of excuses to tell the boss now so you can dip out a few hours early on Friday.
The Gym Class Heroes hats will be sold at a price of $45 each. The fitted features a beige colorway with Sky Blue accents and stitching. The front of the hat features a portrait of one of the band members and the lining on the inside of the cap is suede and each panel will feature a different scene. The back of the fitted has the Gym Class Heroes text in the same style as on their latest album “As Cruel As School Children”.
Once again, this all goes down on October 5th at 5:30pm till 7:30pm at the NYC New Era Flagship Store. The NYC New Era Flagship Store address is 9 East 4th Street (between Broadway and Layfayette). DJ MelDebarge will be on hand to supply the music for the evening.
