Sneaker Pimps will hit the world’s greatest city this December with their largest event of the year. The traveling sneaker event will visit New York City on December 4th and bring with them a slew up coming sneaker releases, live skate demos, artist installations and an all-star cast of hip-hop acts which could fuel a concert in itself. Scheduled to perform are Ghostface Killah, Redman, The Clipse, Curren$y, Diggy Simmons, Sheek Louch, 9th Wonder and The Cool Kids. Needless to say, if you’re in the NY area or anywhere within a gas tank or two, this is an event you surely don’t want to pass up. The doors open at 8PM and tickets are available for pre-sale through Sneaker Pimps.

House of Hoops North Carolina – Grand Opening Event

The sneaker game in North Carolina is about to get a whole more serious. This coming weekend, the doors to North Carolina’s first House of Hoops location will swing open and welcome sneakerheads from the south to enter the world of Foot Locker’s basketball temple, which as you know brings a list of limited releases with it. The Foot Locker in the Hanes Mall was transformed into the newest House of Hoops retailer, marking the 17th location within the US that Foot Locker’s opened since 2007. The grand opening event is set for Saturday, November 6th, 2010, and will be hosted by Kyle Santillian of 102 Jamz and will include music by J-Flex. There’s been no announcement on whether any special guests are slated to appear, but neither here nor there.

Sneaker Pimps Washington DC – November 4th

For the 4th stop of their USA 2010 Tour, the buy-sell-or-trade sneaker event known as Sneaker Pimps pays a visit to our nations capital. On November 4th, 2010, Sneaker Pimps welcomes sneakerheads in the DC Metro area to come kick it with them and a host of special guests at Lux Lounge. Spread throughout multiple floors, the event will feature a sneaker flea market on the first floor, a sneaker + art exhibit on the second floor, along with an NBA Jam demo provided by EA Sports, and live performances on the third floor. Headline acts include The Cool Kids and Curren$y, with additional guests including Tabi Bonney, Phil Abe, KYDD and more. Once again, that’s this coming Thursday, November 4th, at Lux Lounge in Washington DC. Doors open at 9pm. The complete flyer follows after the jump.

Rick Ross added to Sneaker Pimps Miami Roster

This just in. Rick Ross will be joining the roster of live performers tomorrow night at Sneaker Pimps Miami. With Raekwon of the Wu Tang Clan, Phil Ade’ and Thee Tom Hardy having already been scheduled to perform throughout the night, the addition of Rick Ross is major and is sure to sell out the event even quicker. If you’re in Miami and you haven’t gotten tickets already you’re gonna wanna do so ASAP. As in RIGHT NOW. Having recently wrapped up shows this month in Los Angeles and Chicago, Sneaker Pimps is on it’s way to Miami for it’s third stop on the 2010 tour. Scheduled for this coming Saturday, October 23rd, at Mekka, the buy, sell and trade sneaker event will host live performances by Raekwon, Phil Ade’, DJ Keen One and other special guests, and NBA Jam demo’s setup by EA Sports. Not to mention a string of upcoming releases will be on display for you to check out months before they’re slated to hit retailers. Sneaker Con – October 2010

In two short years Sneaker Con has quickly become one of the premier events on the east coast for sneakerheads to buy, sell, and trade the latest and rarest sneakers. The event hosted a gathering earlier this year which turned out to be a huge success, attracting well over 1,000 people and a host of vendors hawking everything from shoes to streetwear. If your in the New York area and you’ve yet to attend Sneaker Con, be sure not to miss the upcoming event on October 16th, 2010. Sneaker Con, adidas Originals, and over 40 vendors will be setting up shop on 151 Sullivan St. in SoHo to tend to the needs of what’s expected to be over 1,500 attendees. DJ Petey Complex and DJ Leo Rodri will be on hand to keep the music bumping and special displays by adidas Originals, DrJays, Flud Watch, and Chiv Culture will be set up for the viewing pleasure of those in attendance.

Having recently finalized details for the event, Sneaker Pimps has officially announced the first stop on their 2010 nationwide tour. On October 7th, 2010, Sneaker Pimps will set up shop at the Music Box in Los Angeles, bringing along with them Travis Barker and The Cool Kids to help kick start the tour. Aside from performing live, Travis and The Cool Kids will premier a brand new 3D music video for the their hit single “Jump Down”. This year’s official sponsor’s are ESPN Magazine and EA Sports and as a special treat for those in attendance EA will be setting up a couple systems where you can test your skills on NBA Elite ’11. As always, the venue will be stocked with sneakersheads buy, selling, and trading the hottest sneakers. If you’re in the area this is an event not to be missed.

Along with visiting the nation’s capital this coming weekend, the DUNKXCHANGE heads down to the Sunshine State where they’ll holding an event in South Florida on Saturday, July 31st. Sneakerheads are welcome to head out to Mekka in Miami to buy, sell, trade, or just talk sneakers with like minded people. They’ll be plenty of beats to keep your feet moving too with DJ’s spinning everything for the newest in hip hop to the classic joints you grew up with. As usual with a DUNKXCHANGE event, the doors open at 1pm and they’ll be a $10 cover.

After wrapping up an event in Boston this past weekend the DUNKXCHANGE is heading South to Washington, DC for their next stop on the tour. Sneakerheads and vendors are expected to turn out by the hundreds to buy, sell and trade the rarest kicks and the latest in street fashion. Special live performances by Gods’illa, Kokayi and Substantial will give those in attendance a little something to keep their feet moving at the cruise the venue with DJ Ki and DJ Jack Da Ripper mixing it up inbetween. It all goes down this coming Saturday, July 31st at Bravo Bravo in Washington, DC between the hours of 1pm-5pm with a $10 cover at the door.
