Aqua Teen Hunger Force Custom Nike Dunks

Our friend Ryon, the brains behind Mizzee Customs has just sent us over some images of his latest custom sneakers which just so happen to be inspired by one of my favorite television shows, Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
For the Aqua Teen Hungry Force Nike Dunks Ryon started off with theĀ an image of Meatwad on the mid-panel of the right sneaker with designs of Frylock and Master Shake close by. Meatwad is shown in front of a brick wall in the shape of a hot dog, a reference to the opening credits of ATHF where Meatwad is introduced. On the mid-panel of the left sneaker Ryon laid down the brick pattern again and applied the ATHF logo and a image of Carl, chest hair included. From there Ryon continued with the brick wall wrapping it around the heel of both sneakers. From there the names of each character, along with other random names were applied in graffiti style fashion somewhere within the brick wall design, another nod to the opening credits of the show. The characters themselves, Meatwad, Master Shake, Frylock and Carl all have an extra glossy finish to them to give them more on an animated look compared to their duller flat matte backgrounds.
Things dont stop there though cause when Ryon puts in the time for a design he really goes the extra step. Not only did he design these custom sneakers but to go along with them he designed a custom Aqua Teen Hunger Force box. The custom box features the mooninites recking havok in the ATHF living room while the rest of the box is made to look, and feel like a brick. A custom box is something Ryon has been including with a lot of his recent customs and if you ask us something like that really helps to wrap up the theme of the sneakers and make a 1 of a kind custom sneaker more unique then it already is in its own state.

Nike Dunk Low ‘Patent Leather’ – White/Varsity Red

Thanks to Caliroots we have some detailed images of the latest Nike Dunk to be released as part of the patent leather Nike Dunk Pack. The last Patent Leather Nike Dunk we took a look featured a white base with university blue accents. This version follows somewhat of the same style in the sense that the Dunks use a completely white patent leather upper. Accents of university red on the midsole and tongue tag brighten things up a little bit and add just enough highlights to these otherwise glossy white patent leather Dunks.

Eric Koston Nike SB Dunk Low – Preview

When news broke that Eric Koston signed a contract with Nike SB all anybody cared about really was what pair of Nike SB sneakers was Koston going to rock. The rumor mill was going crazy with reports most which stated Eric Koston would be designing his own signature model and would not be sporting a Nike SB style already on the market.
Thanks to NSB we can now confirm that those rumors are false, atleast at this time. During the Skatepark of Tampa September 2009 Moat show a couple of the upcoming Nike SB models were on display which included these Dunk Lows which Eric Koston designed. The upper is constructed from blue suede with metallic gold on the Nike Swoosh. The outsole unit sports a gum outsole and a white midsole with red stitching.
No official release date for the Eric Koston Nike SB Dunk Low has been announced at this time so stay tuned for further information.

Nike SB Dunk Mid Pro Blue/Black – October 2009 Release

It seems like we can never get away from the Dunks, whether they be SB Dunks or your regular ol’ Nike Dunks. Simply put, they dominate the sneaker industry and everytime you blink an eye theres a new design floating around. The latest to surface online is this Nike SB Dunk Mid Pro which uses a blue and black color scheme. I know when it comes to Dunks the majority prefers a pair of lows or highs over the mids, which is something we can agree with, but theres no denying the simple blue and black color scheme looks slick.
Watch for this Nike SB Dunk Mid Pro to hit Nike SB retailers at part of the Nike SB October 2009 Releases.
