Nike Dunk Low – ‘Rookie Of The Year’ Customs

Heres a look at a new Nike Dunk custom sneaker from C2 Customs. Titled “Rookie Of The Year” the sneakers were a private order which been done for yet another Milwaukee Brewer player. C2 Customs has worked with a few players from the Brewers M.L.B. team so its no surprise another has reached out to him for their own pair of custom Dunks. Ryan Braun was announced the NL Rookie Of The Year in 2007 so he teamed up with C2 to celebrate the much appreciated award. The design features an abstract stripe pattern on the midpanel with the Milwaukee Brewers logo displayed on the frontal next to C2. On the heel panel of the left sneaker you have a grunge style text which reads “Rookie Of The Year” in yellow and blue and on the heel panel of the right sneaker it says “Ryan Braun”. C2 Customs even gave the Nike text logo on the heel tab a grunge look to match up with the rest of the lettering. These custom sneakers are defiantly fresh and im sure Ryan Braun is lovin em right now. Check out another shot after the jump.
Nike Dunk Low “STREEThing” Customs

Sekure D is at it again with this pair of Nike Dunk custom sneakers. These were done for his friends over at STREEThing (good people) to show em a lil love. The Dunks were finished in a black and blue colorway which features an abstract design on the midpanel in black and white along with a dripping splatter design on the frontal and heel panel. Also on the heel panel is “STREEThing” in black. These arent for sale like most of the Sekure D custom sneakers so just enjoy the pictures.
Nike SB ‘Old Spice’ Dunk Customs

When the Nike SB Old Spice Dunks came out a lot of people were unpleased with the results. Although the colorway was a nice it didnt really resemble the company Old Spice in a way that stood out so it sort of seemed pointless to even call them the “Old Spice” edition dunks. One of the colors Old Spice is known for using plenty of in their ads and on their products is red. The original Nike SB Old Spice had hardly any red at all in it, besides for a red sole. Check out the picture above, the original sneaker is on the left. The sneaker on the right is a custom job by an ISS member known as PMSRIP420. Hes one of the many who wasnt happy with the final design so he decided to take it upon himself to turn the Old Spice Nike Dunk into something he could personally appreciate. There wasnt really much to do here besides add more red into the mix, so PMSRIP420 broke out the red suede dye and went to work. Yes, you read it right, the suede is dyed red, not painted red. Not an easy task but one well worth the effort. The final result in my opinion, as well as many readers on ISS, is a lot better then what Nike SB had released themselves. Check out some more detailed shots after the jump of the detail and quality that was put into these. You would swear the suede was dyed red straight from the factory.

Nike Dunk Hi “Vinyl Assault” Customs

One of the newest custom sneakers from Image4ever are these Nike Dunks which are called “Vinyl Assault”. The custom Dunks where made for SSUR, a boutique out in Los Angeles, California. Image4Ever also did up 2 pairs of custom Nike socks to go along with the Nike Dunk and has included 3 extra sets of laces, we dont have pictures of all that at the moment though. The use of the colors Ultra Orange and Varsity Red add for a nice color combo on the upper which is sure to catch some eyes walking down the street. A purple and black print covers the Nike Swoosh with random white spots added it for an extra touch. The vinyl tongue is pretty unique and the stitching on it is superb (pics after the jump) but personally speaking im not to sure how i feel about a vinyl tongue but the execution to get it done is on point. Also on the upper Image4Ever has added the shop name “SSUR” along with a cross and a store which were all done in pink and appear to be sort of scratched into the leather with the way the design was done. Check out some more shots after the jump and hit up Image4Ever on Myspace.
