Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Chirping Bird’ Sample

Posted earlier today on NSB were these images of what is said to be a sample pair of Nike SB Dunk Lows which Nike SB is planning to release sometime this year. The entire upper of the sneaker is made of dark denim while the Nike Swoosh is constructed from black patent leather. Black fur is added to the inner lining of the sneakers and a somewhat odd feature has been added to the inside of the tongue. According to what is reported the tongue has a device inside of it which makes the sound of a chirping bird whenever you press it, hence the SB Dunk Low being dubbed ‘Chirping Bird’.
At this time the sneakers are supposedly just a sample and could have some changes to them before their official release so make sure you stay tuned for further details. How would you feel about a device in the tongue of your sneakers making a noise whenever its pressed? Click here to check out another another shot of the sneakers and a quick video letting you hear the sound of the chirping bird.

Nike Blazer Mid & Dunk Hi (GS) – Graffiti Pack

When the back to school year rolls around Nike is known to follow up with a grip of GS releases just for the kids. The year usually always includes some solid releases seen from previous years, such as the Nike Notebook designs, however every so often Nike throws a few new designs in there, such as the Graffiti Pack seen here. Now, whether or not this is actually the “graffiti pack” or not i dont know, but it seemed fitting so thats what we decided to call them. There appears to be something written across the tongues but we cant quite figure out what it is.
The Nike Graffiti Pack consist of a Nike Blazer Mid and a Nike Dunk Hi, both available in just kids sizes. The Dunk Hi features university blue on the frontal and lace panels with grey on the midpanel and around the ankle. The heel/wing panel and toe box feature a white base with a university blue grid design with Nike in graffiti fashion going down on the heel panel of the sneaker. The tongue is black and is includes the same grid style in blue. The Blazer mid on the other hand has a Tattoo-Obsidian base accented with white lace panels, a university blue Nike Swoosh and a university blue grid design. Just like the Dunks the same graffiti style Nike branding is included on these right above the Swoosh.
Look for both the Nike Blazer Mid and the Nike Dunk Hi in the Graffiti Pack now at select Nike retailers in kids sizes only.
Nike ‘Day of The Dead’ Pack

When the Halloween season rolls around Nike is known to always come through with a lineup of releases to celebrate the holiday. This year will be no different then previous years with Halloween themed sneakers dropping for the guys, girls and kids. One of the packs which Nike will be dropping next month in October is the ‘Day of The Dead’ Pack. If you recall this is not the first time Nike has incorporated the Day of The Dead theme into a pair of sneakers. A few years ago back in 2006 Nike SB released the Day of The Dead SB Dunks which were quite a popular seller. These sneakers however carry a different design then those released 3 years ago.
The Nike ‘Day of The Dead’ Pack consists of three sneakers; a Nike Dunk Low, a Dunk High and an Air Max 90. Each of the three sneakers in the pack feature bold graphics throughout the uppers with the Dunk High and AM 90 in a purple/black/green color scheme and the Dunk Low in a white/purple/green colorway. There also a slight hint of orange worked into each model.
The Nike ‘Day of The Dead’ Pack will be dropping as a Quickstrike release and will only be available at select Nike retailers on October 24th 2009. Via: Frank The Butcher
Nike Dunk ‘G.I. Joe’ Custom Sneakers

INTRXN, a sneaker customizer who has been featured on the site before with designs such as the Transformers Nike Dunks and the Genesis presents hit latest custom sneakers. In a tribute to G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra INTRXN has designed the custom G.I. Joe Nike Dunks.
These 1 of a kind sneakers feature a grip of detailing such as a nanomite pattern along the toe and lace panels with cobra green snakeskin detailing along the Nike Swoosh. The G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra logo is included along the heel of the sneakers in the form of a stitched on patch. Under the patch and on the rest of the heel panel is a tonal splatter design which is something that was included on the base of the sneakers. Added details include olive green Nike SB shoe laces and a premium Nike product dog tag. Taking the theme one step further is a custom metal ammo case with screen-printed details on it in yellow.
Personally speaking i cant say i was a big fan of G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra but INTRXN did an amazing job on these as he usually does with all his customs.
