WMNS Nike Air Force 1 Low – White/Electric Green

wmns-air-force-1-low-white-electric-green

Electric Green has proven to be Nike’s color of the month as it’s appeared on a number of releases for the month of March. A couple weeks ago we showed you a Dunk High for the men which used the hue in the form of accent coloring and shortly after that we featured a pair of WMNS Dunk Low’s which used the color for it’s base. We’ve now spotted another pair of kicks sporting the Electric Green color, a pair of Air Force 1 Low’s for the women.

These are pretty much stylized in the same fashion as the Dunks using Electric Green accents on a pure White base. Upon closer inspection it’s revealed that the upper is constructed from a combination of smooth leather and patent leather, a combo which we’ve seen used on quite a few WMNS Air Force Ones lately.

If you’re interested ladies keep your eyes peeled as they’re expected to be released this coming weekend.

There’s no longer a reason to be salty folks. If you’ve been wondering if the folks at Nike SB have been hearing your complaints about the fat tongues getting scrapped don’t worry, they have. We aren’t exactly sure when it will happen, or if they’ll be back for good but Kevin Imamura has informed the world through Twitter that the fat tongues will return on the SB Dunk’s.

Stay tuned for further details as when patiently await to hear more.

Nike 1/2 Cent – Cranberry & Eggplant – Holiday 2010 Release

nike-half-cent-penny-cranberry-and-eggplant

After seeing very successful releases in Varsity Royal, Triple Black, Metallic Silver and Green Spark the Nike 1/2 Cent took an extended leave of absence to clear the floor and give the spotlight to a few other releases, mainly the round of Air Foamposite One’s, the sneakers which started it all and inspired an entire line up Foamposite sneakers.

There’s still two more Foamposite One’s to come, a reissue of the Eggplant’s and the infamous Royal Blue’s, but shortly after that Nike will bring the 1/2 Cent out of hiding in two new colorways. We’ve been hearing the rumors about these new 1/2 Cent’s for a few months but unfortunately were never able to get our hands on any photos to confirm the rumors. Thanks to G-Roc from TSG we know longer have to wonder if the rumors are true as he’s supplied the web with some catalog scans of the Nike 1/2 Cent in both of the new colorups.

With the Eggplant Foamposite One being as popular as it is, and the Nike 1/2 Cent having quite the fan base Nike figured it would make sense to carry over the color scheme from the Foams and fuse it onto a pair of 1/2 Cent’s. And make sense it does as the colorway looks to be a perfect fit for the 1/2 Cent in our opinion. Alongside those Nike will also drop a Cranberry 1/2 Cent which uses a Deep Red on the foamposite material. When we heard the original rumors about these they were referred to as Metallic Red but now that we’ve actually got a picture of the shoes they don’t really appear to have much of a metallic finish to em in these catalog scans.

No official release dates are available at this time for either of the two Nike 1/2 Cents but according to reports they’re expected to be part of Nike’s Holiday 2010 Collection. We’ll be sure to keep you posted on any further details.

(Product) RED x Nike Dunk Low

Back in November Nike teamed up with (Product) RED, a campaign organized by Bono and a slew of soccer players to help fight AIDS in Africa, to put together a collection of products who’s proceeds would be donated to programs that help fight the savage disease. The first co-branded item to release was a pair of Red laces which Nike launched aside their newly launched “Lace Up. Save Lives” campaign which carried the message the best way it could. Buy a pair a laces and you can help fight the deadly virus which kills over 6,000 people and infects more then 11,000 more each and every day in Africa.

With a dedication to help a great cause Nike’s followed up their (RED) shoelaces with a pair of Nike Dunk Low’s designed in collaboration with Product (RED). The Dunk Low is slaughtered in a color combo on Red and Black on a upper fabricated from leather with some sort of Black pattern embroidered on the heel panel. Nike’s Red shoelaces which they designed with (Product) RED keeps you laced up and the co-branded logo which smashes up the logos of both companies is included on the tongue tag and lace locks.

No official release date is available at this time but thanks to StreetThing we’ve been provided with a glimpse of whats to come.

WMNS Nike Dunk Low – Electric Green/Jetstream-Black

Making the rounds to retailers as part of Nike’s Spring 2010 Collection, namely their March releases, are a few new pairs of Dunks using a vibrant shade of Electric Green, a color we’ve seen used quite a bit so far this year from Nike. A few days ago we showed you the Dunk High for the men and now here we have the WMNS Dunk Low making use of the Slimer like color.

Electric Green is put to use as the primary color as it’s applied to the entire toe, heel and on the lace panels. Dividing the color and adding some contrast to the shoes is a Black mid-panel, a Black heel tab and a Black inner lining. If your able to look past the abundance of Electric Green there’s also a Jetstream Nike Swoosh thrown in there to accompany the White mid-sole.

The shoes available overseas at select retailers, on eBay and should be hitting distributors in the US sometime this month.
