Converse Co* (CoStar) Attache – Fall 2009

converse-costar-attache

Earlier this year Converse debuted their Co* (CoStar) label to the market, a lineup a sneakers designed with skateboarding in mind. So far we have seen such models as the Converse Weapon Skate Ox Low, the Converse ‘Optium’ Skate and the Converse Weapon Skate all released under the Converse Co* label.

Adding to the lineup for the Fall of 2009 comes a nice collection of colors in a model known as the Attache. As you should clearly be able to see the Converse Co* Attache’ uses a silhouette inspired by the classic Nike Blazers. On the side of the upper you have a nice big Converse CoStar logo which will clearly let people know these defiantly arent a pair of Blazers. Theres also tags and insoles marked with the Converse Co* branding. This simple yet fresh design is being offered in colorups for men, women and even kids.

Converse Chuck Taylor All Star ‘Via Air Mail’ Sample

The Converse Chuck Taylor has time after time proved that its a canvas which has unlimited possibilities when it comes to design and colorups. Since the price of stamps was just raised by 2cents Converse figured there would be no better time then to present this Chuck Taylor All Star sample dubbed ‘Via Air Mail’.

Obviously the design on these Chucks is inspired by the airmail envelopes. The design is miniumal but then again so is the design on airmail envelopes. For starters you have blue piping throughout the white upper, along with a blue strip all the way around the sneakers above the midole and a red strip on the midsole. The red and blue stripe pattern is the same pattern you would see on an airmail envelope. To top off the sneakers you’ll see Via Airmail printed on the heel stripe of the shoes.

At this time the sneakers are just a pair of sample and there is no word on an official release at this time. We will be sure to keep you posted on any updates.

Original Jams x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star

Converse and Original Jams are no strangers when it comes to collaborations. Their first project together took place over 20 years ago and just a few months ago the two released a Converse Skidgrip. The Converse x Original Jams collection continues with a Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Hi and Low.

The design that Converse and Original Jams has been going with on their recent collaborations involves an aqua/blue color upper which is accented by designs in yellow, purple, orange and green. The aqua upper appears to give you that ‘clear blue water’ vibe which goes great with what Original Jams represents, the surf scene. Above the white sole unit on the Chucks is a yellow stripe wrapping around the sneakers. On the side of the midsole, and on the tongue, theres branding to represent the collaboration with Original Jams. Finishing up the sneakers is different color lace eyelets which is something that has been used on earlier collaborations between the two.

Watch for the Converse x Original Jams Chuck Taylor All Stars to hit retailers in July 2009.
