Converse Chuck Taylor All Star – Stencil Pack

converse-chuck-taylor-all-star-stencil-pack

Converse has just released the Chuck Taylor All Star ‘Stencil’ Pack, a three pack made up of two All Star Hi’s and a pair of Low’s. All three models in the Stencil Pack consist of an upper which is made to look as if the Converse logo has been spray painted onto the sneakers using a stencil. Adding to the design is an overspray effect and some paint drips made to look like somebody used just a little bit to much paint. There are two colorways to pick from so far, white/black/red and black/white/red with both of the highs available in either of the two color scheme and the lows in just the black/white/red colorway.

Head on over to Converse to pick a pair up and keep your eye open for more color schemes to release in the future.

Converse Jack Purcell Racearound Hi

converse_jack_purcell_racearound

Coming this July Converse will bring back the Jack Purcell Racearound. Unlike the lineup of low to Jack Purcell Racearound’s released in 2007 and 2008 the new releases will feature a high cut design.

The Jack Purcell Racearound is a style which was originally designed by Converse in the early 1970s. The design inspiration for the silhouette was taken from the cars of the era and was developed to be a racing/driving sneaker. The Racearound models being released in July include tumbled leather uppers with suede and patent leather detailing. The sneakers will be available in oxford and high-top versions and will come in black/grey/red, black/red and white/black/red. Unfortunately at this time all we have is a shot of one of the colorups.

Retail will range between $95 – $100 and the sneakers will be available specialty retailers and online at the Converse website in July 2009. Via: Slam

The Converse skateboarding line has been growing pretty nicely with releases such as the Converse Co* (CoStar) Attache, Converse Weapon Skate and the Converse Optium. The latest to be introduced into the range of skateboarding sneakers is this Converse Chuck Taylor Skate Mid which is obviously a revamped version of the classic Chuck Taylors. This version yields a navy blue waxed canvas upper accented with a white mid-sole, a white Converse logo on the ankle, and a white tongue tag. Placed over the canvas toe on the Chuck Taylor Skate Mid is a navy blue toe cap giving you the added protection you need when skating.

Japanese brand UnRivaled have teamed up with Converse to designed a pair of Chuck Taylor All Star’s which incorporates the use of red beads which is something UnRivaled has used a few recent products. The Chuck Taylor uses a black canvas base with red beads along the ankle and down the heel. A large UnRivaled leather tag is included on the side of the upper to stamp this official collaboration.

Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Turndown

Converse Japan introduces the Chuck Taylor All Star Turndown in both low-top oxford and hi-top versions. Using the classic Chuck Taylor, which has proven time and time again is a template that can be revamped in more ways then one can count, Converse gave the sneakers a slight redesign which includes a cuff that you can roll down to reveal a contrasting color to match the rubber toe cap of each shoe. This design characteristic is something we have seen once before on a pack of Reebok shoes produced for the ladies known as the Reebok Top Down. Seeing as how it worked for Reebok among the female audience we’re sure Converse can defiantly move the Chuck Taylor All Star Turndown around the loyal Chuck fans out there.

Watch for the sneakers to hit select Converse retailers in June. Pictures of all the current colorups set to debut the Turndown are pictured after the jump.
